Alexander Amosu + Mr and Mrs Julius Agwu's Birthday Pix

I read an article some days ago about a designer who created the world's most expensive suit...and actually sold the suit to a mystery buyer for the mentioned $101,860 price tag.

Here's the article below...

Recession. What recession? By Catey Hill, Daily News staff writer

There doesn't appear to be one affecting designer Alexander Amosu, who has created the world's most expensive suit.
The suit is valued at $103,000.
It took more than 80 hours and 5,000 stitches to produce, according to LuxuryLaunches.com.
OK, but what makes the price tag leap over the six-figure mark?
The suit includes nine 18-carat gold and pave diamond buttons.
It is made from vicuna, which is a South American camel-like animal, that produces a very rare wool, BornRich.com says.
Oh, and its one-of-a-kind (of course).

Y'all know what caught my attention? The designer is a Nigerian! Can't believe I'd never heard of him until some days ago...Check out Alexander Amosu's achievements to Date:

• At the age of 12 earned £10 a week doing paper round

Joke of the day
Florida Court Sets Atheist Holy Day
In Florida, an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews and observances of their holy days.
The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays."

The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."
The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."
The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned."

LOL
Peace out!

Hey Linda, Alexander Amosu is Ghanian and not Nigerian....yes he was the first to start the ringtone thing on mobile phones...how ingenious!
Look where he is now...this is the attitude we need to encourage in our young ones, to believe in themselves, to create and to see the sky as their limit!
Well done to him.

I actually first read about Alexandra Amosu when he first launched the mobile ringtone thing and then didn't hear about him after that....But his achievements are truly inspirational and like YNG said, it's oh soo good to see young black men making it big through legitimate means..Kudos to Mr Amosu, whether Ghanian or Nigerian, we are sure proud of you!

How come we never heard about him, he's talented. Whether Nigerian or Ghanaian, we are all Africans, and let's support one another. Africans have too much talent, we need innovative minds to come together and make the continent better.
