As much as I admire Toke, her ex husband would be within his rights to sue her. Wonder why he is starting late. The book is all shades of character defamation and slander. He should sue for damages to his name and stop further sale of the book

To be honest this is an issue I'd rather not discuss, because it's between an ex-couple, but the bloggers don't respect family privacy, so this story has been all up in my face since morning. Truth is, I was afraid this was gonna happen once I read some parts of the book and knew it presented Maje with the opportunity to claim character defamation. You can't write about another person in your book in such a manner if you don't have concrete evidence to back up your claims and he's taking advantage of that. Could he have filed earlier? Hell yeah... So why didn't he? Because the only thing the book really hurt here was his ego and he just wants to hurt the poor Toke Makinwa again with a lawsuit that will cost millions.
I like Toke, she has gone through a lot, and for the first time in years, her beautiful soul has started to glow again. I hope she wins this or better still, her lawyers find grounds for no-case before this ever goes to court. And as for Maje, swallow your pride... No amount of lawsuits will take the book away from the black market, so the possibility of more people reading this book is inevitable. Remember the good times and do something better with your life.. You sef can write a book... Suggested title: ON MAKING
