Not interested in this man affairs. He destroy the south during the civil war. Kokoette.effi@yahoo.com

Anonymous said...

What is wrong with marrying someone when you want to? What has the civil war got to do with it? Did people not make babies, have parties, naming ceremonies, marriage, etc while the war was on? Please talk better thing and leave him alone! (By the way I be Ibo woman and the war affected me, so don't feel that I am related to Gowon by tribe or whatever).

It's a 4 pence(4d) commemorative stamp.

Hmm, as a soldier, anytime is the right time to get married especially if one is not married. The Invitation card was a nice one for a nice moment looking at the personality involved Gowon and Victoria, besides times have changed taking into consideration wat happens at the moment today in Nigeria.

Distasteful?? Thats silly for anyone to think

Anonymous said...

linda are messed up o. why bring up civil war again?
Just to bring back bitteness again. you are seriously messed up

Unknown said...

I should think you have enough wisdom to know that this posting is unethical. yes there was a war and i know no matter how much we have tried in reconciliation it can never heal scars. but that doesn't warrant you trying to open up healed wounds especially when you know an election is round the corner. please always exercise caution as this posting might steer up hate and commotion.

Unknown said...

Where is it written in d constitution that d commander of d Arm Forces cannot marry during war? D marriage was a political strategy and it was used as a weapon too too during d war go and do ur research very well

Anonymous said...

Linda, be very careful how you use some words. He is old enough to be your father and you have no right saying you find his marriage disgraceful. you where not in that era and the stories you might think you know"i believe you don't have a clue" it was his chose to be married at that time to who he felt the lord has destined to be his partner. this new hatred for the Gowons is becoming too much. please be careful and let him and his family rest. Happy blogging.
