So Linda, I am going to point out an anomaly with this picture. It is like the super rich win over and over again and the poor never stand a choice. I know Jay Alabaraba and Sim Shagaya. They are children of wealthy parents. There do not need this paltry $20k to $100k for their projects. This is half of one vacation for them. I would be ashamed if I was in their shoes to apply for this money when I should be giving it. Now Jay and his brothers are well rounded boys that do their mom proud. They are so well trained for people coming from a lot of wealth. However, their father could have coughed up startup money for them and left the the funds for those who really have no money to pursue their great ideas. this is an injustice. A real injustice. It is almost as if their own money is for personal use and other people's money is for generating income. It is unfortunate. Simdul has made so much money from Konga and his mom continues to expand her resources. Why take resources that would most benefit those with the ideas but no resourceS? I bet you if I looked into the other people on that list, I will uncover the length of this worm. This is sickening. Jay, I got nothing against ya. You are a level headed homie and VERY INTELLIGENT. But You coulda asked your pops for money and kept this for those who could not muster degrees from all those Ivory tower schools in London you and your brothers attended with cash payments. Its not fair. What would Jesus do? Would he take from the rich and give to the rich? This is no startup in the true sense of all it is. Perhaps American startups like the Zuckerberg type are just that - made in America. If that's the case, I LOVE YOU MORE AMERICA. Until Nigeria becomes the land of opportunity and hope, Boko Haram and MEND with their spawn - dey gbam, dey well, blue brassiers and all the mentally retarded names they come up with will continue to disrupt life as we know it in Nigeria.
