Miss Nigeria Pageant returns after six years

Binta Sukai (Miss Nigeria 1990), Nike Oshinowo (Pageant organiser), Vien Tetsola (Miss Nigeria 1999/2000), Ene Lawani (Miss Nigeria 2004)

The Miss Nigeria Pageant is coming back - after a six-year hiatus. And for the first time in the history of the pageant, it will be activated in three continents; Africa, Europe and North America.

Chief executive officer, and creative director of the pageant, Nike Oshinowo-Soleye, disclosed this at a media parley which held at Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, some days ago. According to her, that the new ‘Miss Nigeria Pageant' will once again showcase positive attributes of the Nigerian woman, namely - elegance, poise, talent, intelligence and as well as beauty.

The last pageant held in 2004.
Hope it's finally here to stay.

Linda, once contested on the Miss Nigeria pageant in 2003 or 2004. I was one of the people routing for Linda, inside the Muson centre that fateful night. That's history now... How is Vera Ikeji, biko?
