Whitney Houston's 'I Look To You'

After seven years, and a multitude of personal problems, Whitney Houston, released her come back album, 'I Look To You', this past Monday. The album is expected to sell over 200,000 copies in its first week of release in America!

Songs on the album
1. Million Dollar Bill
2. Nothin' But Love
3. Call You Tonight
4. I Look To You
5. Like I Never Left
6. A Song For You
7. I Didn't Know My Own Strength
8. Worth It
9. For The Lovers
10. I Got You
11. Salute

Her last album, Just Whitney, was a little disappointing, so expectations aren't particularly high for I Look To You, although a lot of people I've spoken to about this new album have had only positive things to say.

I haven't heard any of the songs...have you? If you have, what would you rate it?

And do you think this come back album will re-establish her as the greatest living singer, or turn out to be a disappointment?

News of the day
Gunmen kill 17 people at a drug rehab in Mexico
Gunmen broke into a drug rehabilitation centre and shot 17 people dead in a northern Mexican border city, an official said.

The attackers on Wednesday broke down the door of El Aliviane center in Ciudad Juarez, lined up their victims against a wall and opened fire, said Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the regional prosecutors' office. At least five people were injured.

Authorities had no immediate suspects or information on the victims. Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Texas, is Mexico's most violent city, with at least 1,400 people killed this year alone. Most of the homicides are tied to drug gang violence.

Dozens of sobbing relatives rushed to the center to find out if their loved ones were among the dead. Soldiers and federal agents patrolled the streets surrounding the center in the Bellavista neighborhood.

President Felipe Calderon sent thousands more troops and federal police to Ciudad Juarez earlier this year, but the surge has done little to stem the raging violence. The city is home to the Juarez drug cartel, which is battling other gangs for trafficking and dealing turf.
Really sad...

here is to hoping that the album isn't a disappointment. In other news, compared to the first picture your second Kanye picture is clearly airbrushed. I guess Mr. West should stop eating those pies :D

I was looking forward to Whitney Houston's album, but a little bit disappointed. If these great artists do a comeback, stick to what you are known for and what made you stand out in the first place. For example, when Maxwell came back, I heard Maxwell, not Maxwell trying to fit in the modern music, because that's what people are into. Nothing stood out to me with Whitney's new album.

Sade Adu is coming out with a new album also, and I'm expecting to hear Sade, and hear that sultry voice and the soul/jazz music, because that's what she's known for. Versatility is good, but while doing that, be unique. Nevertheless, I'm happy whitney is back.

I feel like Rihanna is trying too hard, the whole fierce thing is getting to her head, she might as well go pose for playboy. Kanye! please put your shirt back on with your whinning self.
