A former president of the Nigerian Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu has emerged the governorship candidate of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State. He emerged the flag bearer following the state party's primary election held amidst tight security in Akure, the state capital Saturday September 3rd.

What happened to the vibrant youth of that state.. Old man again to be govt? Nigerian youths should refute this impunity. APC shouldn't win even a local govt election again in this country. They are christened with lies and willful deceit. There acronym is superstition borne out of day dream or common fever malaria.Whilst we make an exception and totally support Ambode of Lagos State of his youthful exhibition at the managemtent of the state of affairs of Lagos State, it's important to note his youthfulness has been vindicated by his level of performance and capacity so far demonstrated. #Ondo rise up and refuse this insubordination.

This is the toughest primary election in the history of Naija... So close mehn
If you understand the Ondo politics, you would know that Akeredolu is still working for Tinubu. In 2012, Akeredolu was supposedly rejected because the people said he was imposed. So they have made him seem like he was not imposed by creating all the drama and press releases. Akeredolu has zero clout. Tinubu is too smart and he always doesnt shy from stepping away from the scene for the benefit of the others.
SADLY the people have seen that APC is a failed party. Aketi has no experience. PDP is full of trash (no hope with Mimiko's third term agenda by imposing his Aide to succeed him). A third/new force must arise (just like Labour Party back in the day)
