Shannon Csapilla targeted the vehicles of an ex-boyfriend and a friend according to police, using a key to scratch the word 'wore' into the paintwork.
But it's transpired that she intended to write 'whore'.
The 20-year-old has hit back at critics online, posting on her Instagram account: "Don't worry, I'm not an English major".
She also spoke emotionally about the reaction to her crimes, which she admitted were not appropriate and shared the message below on her IG page:
She additionally suggested receiving special treatment while there.
"At least the boys were nice enough to buy me dinner in there," she tweeted with a picture of a cop car and French fries.That same day she was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree criminal mischief.
