Most governments are a coalition of various interests. Most governments attempt to represent their country otherwise it's an occupying power if it does not represent the country it seeks to govern. Mr Buhari did not win any election on the platform of CPC. He realised that on his own he will be a perianal failure in his civilian presidential dream. So formed an alliance with the ACN to form the APC. Since winning the election he has behaved as if the CPC alone won the election. I have not seen any evidence of the ACN wing of the APC show its footprint in this government. Since CPC was Kaduna based and its members primarily from the North, it appears to others that we now have an occupying power not representative of the people it seeks to govern.
The fight against corruption can not be used as a smokescreen to disenfranchise other Nigerians. The saints do not only reside in the North. Mr Buhari is just by his previous outing a parochial person. He is blind to his obligation to others.
In his recent outing to the States he misunderstood the question being asked but gave an insight into his train of thought. He will pay attention to only the people who voted for him. He is just being bad as a Nigerian president, he better suited to being the prime minister of Northern Nigeria.
He is blind and deaf to the thoughts of others he only hears his own voice. That was evident when he murdered the drug kids. He was oblivious to reason. That trait which generously has been seen as being disciplined mask a more sinister character, an Usman Dan Fodio complex. His entry into the 1966 coup was motived by his desire to avenge the death of Northern political leaders and his prosecution of the civil war was in the same vain. While as a junta leader he jettison the convention that both leader and his deputy not be from the same political zone.
Mr Buhari must know that Nigeria is not only those who voted for him or from his stock. He closes Nigeria to all of its resources if by political blindness, he seeks to impose his brand of narrow righteous gang on the generality of Nigerians. Aso Rock must be like Nigeria and not just part of Nigeria.
All of his major appointments so far have predominately been from his locale, in a constitutional democracy is unconstitutional and picking at the fragile construct that is Nigeria.
I hope Mr Buhari like his last outing understands that no condition is permanent.

The same thing applies in Unity schools, infact the reason for their low cut off mark is because they are termed Low education development areas (LEDA ) Now tell me how can a person from this zone is now more competent than someone from the south? The main issue here is this if buhari insists this is a fair appointment then why do we do federal character. Why would I from the south have lower chance of getting a job or admission than someone from the north. I can get admission with 150 in jamb if I'm a northerner but I need 250 or more if I'm from the south. I can get a very low score N get into the unity school if I'm a northerners but can't if I'm from d south. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Even in the USA you have to include the blacks Hispanics Asians and such when making appointment. You can't only appoint a group of people N say it's fair. The main issue here is this if buhari insists this is a fair appointment then why do we do federal character. Why would I from the south have lower chance of getting a job or admission than someone from the north. I can get admission with 150 in jamb if I'm a northerner but I need 250 or more if I'm from the south. I can get a very low score N get into the unity school if I'm a northerners but can't if I'm from d south.
Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Even in the USA you have to include the blacks Hispanics Asians and such when making appointment. You can't only appoint a group of people N say it's fair.
