Recall that investigations into the books of the CBN under this mullah unraveled a worse-than-cesspool type of brigandage and scandalous thievery that he perpetrated in the CBN!
Recall that the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRN) had exposed this man as the most spendthrift of CBN governors home and abroad!
Just about when former President Jonathan was in mid-2013 about to blow the lid off his reckless pillaging of the CBN than he led the conspiracy to topple GEJ...
Because he was able to hammer home ad nuseum such fabrication that $50bn (which he would perennially review up and down like jangolova---a clear indication he was playing games or merely playing on the intelligence of idiot-majority Nigerians) could not be accounted for under Jonathan, Nigerians chose to turn a blind eye to his own thievery at the CBN...
And till today they've failed to insist that Sanusi Lamido Sanusi should account for the hundreds of billions of Naira that grew wings and disappeared from CBN's vaults while he was its governor....
This economic jihadist did a whole terrible lot in the CBN, including the fact that he forced some reform of the CBN Act in order to give his evil agenda some operational latitude and legitimacy....
And yet today he's walking about like a saint, especially ever since he manipulated the system to win the Kano emir-ship stool...
This is the same mullah who used monies unappropriated to pursue a so-called bail-out of banks in 2009, and these unappropriated monies amounted to nearly N700billion!!!!!!
Where in the world can such heinous malfeasance take place without the law of the land reacting in disgust and indignation to bring the evil perpetrator to book...
And when they want to hoodwink silly Nigerians they tell you they are trying to cleanse the system by fighting corruption...
It is always murderous northern Muslims that see their duty as nothing but the purification of the system of corruption...
So, Sanusi would ride the anti-corruption horse in the banking sector, and created a crises which never existed; and plunged the country into an economic turmoil from which it has barely recovered...
Recall also that Abacha (imagine Abacha) did the same. Abacha hauled so many bank chiefs into jail in the pretext of fighting corruption in the sector!!!
And Buhari is pursuing the established path of the northern Muslims; and if you watch closely their sense of justice is always selective!
In Nigeria, some people are untouchable; they are free to perpetrate grave iniquities and be rewarded for it....
They trample on people's fundamental rights, manipulate the system and perhaps for that are ultimately canonized into sainthood, while others who gave their best given the circumstances are demonized by sheer orchestration...
Doesn't it bother you that what a southerner cannot do and get away with; a northerner would do with glee, gusto and conviction; and still be honored with a crown of glory!
In Nigeria's Animal Kingdom, all animals are equal; but some are more equal than others!!!!
