Brother shares story & photos of his sister who died from domestic violence
I found this on Facebook. The young man shared it on his Facebook page warning other victims to tell someone and leave if they are in similar situation. His sister died leaving 4 kids behind. So sad!

Last saturday night my husband and I argued and next thing I Knew he starting shouting vehemently "I will kill you" repeatedly with his fist pointed at my forehead.i was scared and screamed my sisters name but she was asleep in her room. Eventhough he has never beaten me before he keeps threatening me. On monday morning I went to report at a Police station near the house. The DPO called him and cautioned him,he never believed I could report him. We have been living in peace since that day everybody mindful of their utterances. My twin babies (9 mnths old) need their mother so I'm not joking at all.
I dont in anyway condone domestic violence I hate it but it's wrong to paint men as the only culprit women abuse men to even to the extent of violence I ve seen a woman slap her husband on multiple occasions men die of hypertension and all just because his wife is horrible, Linda just because pride don't allow this men come doesn't mean men don't get abused too

I think often times some women fail to speak up not because they are afraid (a majority of people who are in abusive relationships are) but they keep quiet because they are ashamed to admit that their once rosy relationship ain't so anymore, that the perfect guy wasn't so perfect. Others keep hoping and praying that the situation will change and God would arrest these men but the truth of the matter is that they ought to run first and pray later, cos only a healthy person can live long enough to pray. Do not suffer in silence, do not mind your Pastors and Priest, leave that man. Pray for him in the comfort of your father's house.
THIS IS A LESSON FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO FEEL YOU SHOULD STAY WITH A MAN REGARDLESS. SPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO SAY YOU SHOULD STAY FOR YOUR KIDS......SHE STAYED, NOW SHE IS DEAD. SHE LEFT HER KIDS WITHOUT WARNING. NOW HER KIDS WOULD LIVE AND GROW UP WITHOUT HER. .........NOW ISNT THAT SAD
BETTER FOR YOU TO LEAVE A BAD MAN AND STRUGGLE IF YOU HAVE TO....... LOOK AFTER YOUR KIDS AND THEY WILL GROW UP BETTER WITH THE HELP OF GOD RATHER THAN STAY AND BE MISERABLE AND MAYBE EVEN FACE DEATH FROM A USELESS MAN.

my dear if at all this ur story is true,u need to call ur husband and talk to him personally, there is no peace in ur house,what you are experiencing is the calm before the storm,ur husband probably hates u deeply now,and the peace u are talking about is a gulf that is going to continue to grow,talk to ur family and his family to settle ur issues properly so that love can reside in tour home again,and if it ain't working,I advice that u pack out and save ur self.l
I'm in a abusive relationship too. I stay because I have no means financially to move on. I in the process of getting a job ans by God's grace a place of my own. Ppl look at me and ask why do I stay with an ugly and abusive man...the thing is when a pretty girl gives an ugly man a chance he will start to feel like a king and abuse the privilege.
He has never beaten u before. Which makes him at least an average decent guy.
