what goes around comes around.a trailer driver died at mile 2 on sunday cos of these hawks.one down.
I feel sorry for the dead cos that's one life cut short. But come to think of it LASTMA! Smh, those who drive in lagos will definitely understand what am trying to express here. If there's any word more than "their excesses" will be better. Running after a vehicle... you parked on the line... go behind the line... Why did you stop for him to pass? Obstruction of traffic...why are you making call (and my hand is just on my chin), etc etc. Most of them are absolutely insane! All these rubbish should be stopped! I just have one question for our Lagos state govt, why do we need all these colours on the streets of lagos? There's white (VIO) which I learnt are no longer there but not so sure, there's lastma, there's road safety, traffic wardens and the most pathetic ones-the ones in pink at sand-filled round about, they were all over VI before, they stopped before now they are back? Why do we need all these people just to control traffic? Can't the traffic wardens do the job? Road safety if their job is to checkmate road accidents how come we still have terrible cars on our roads? Put all these people under the police force or whatever group you want, let them be one and see how weel they will do. You don't scare us buy introducing colours to our streets daily.
May his soul rest in peace, he died on his duty postCatch all the gist herenaijabreakingnews.blogspot.com
How can d car he was chasing run him ova?...nt too sure I gt ds nuz...#jezsaying dou....RIP....
Died for his country keh?isn't it the hieght of foolishness to chase after a moving vehicle?if it was that he was chasing it to save a person's life,we can say it was justified and den we'll tag him a hero.Abeg,i don't think Fashola told anybody to run after a moving vehicle. The rule applies everywhere in the world-SAFETY FIRSTTommorrow now, they will run after a moving train.
Ur dad mite b a lastma official in ur nxt life so stfu!
Na wah oo! This is sad.Na wah for una oo, how una take know say na 20 Naira him dey pursue the fleeing vehicle for!People should always think before commenting!Anyhoo, may he rest in peace sha o.
awwwwww so sad RIP oo this is a lesson for the other LASTMA officials buh mean while wasup wiv this ur blue background prefered the formal one o
This goes to show the level of poverty in the nation because of bribe that wouldn't go a long way he lost his life just the other day 100 hundreds of people were burnt to alive becos they wre trying to steal petrol from a tanker. When will nigerians learn because of 5000 naira some people will risk their lives. We need experts to teach Nigerians most especially the grassroots safety rules and regulations.
A life is worth more than moneyLagos State needs to ensure safety of it's LASTMA officials. They need to remind these pple that while their service is important, their safety is more important.
Awwhhhh dis is sooo sad... Hp d oda Lastma officials learn frm dis.consida ur life 1st b4 ur Job.. RIP
May his soul RIP.. By the way, where is Prof X? Cos I'm seeing so many #gbagun here from linda's topic to where she said I quote *run over pls some one who said I quote again *he died fight for his country abi na only my own u dey see?

ONOME says............wow!Is life worth anything in Nigeria again?I read with real dismay the ways and manner by which people die in Nigeria and it is absolutely shocking.Such a waste.Such a waste.Rest in peace..
@Linda, i love the new blue backgroundwww.cashnaija.com
Hmmm,4 lagos! 4 Nigeria!!! Its not worth it, may he rest in Gods bossom .
Wayyo Allah! This one, it is beri beri bad walai... May God grant him peacepool alternity!SouthernMallam.
The abscence of proper record keeping ending in a needless loss of life. All he would have had to do was take down the number of the vehicle and get details of the owner if only we had good records...but who chases after a moving car on foot?
Ur point is very coherent. Simple safety ethics and common sense wld hv saved the day 4 dis man. Really sad.
Isn't there another way to handle this traffic issue in Lagos than having these officers? This one was probably doing his work properly but got run over in the process. I can't imagine taking up a job like this. It's bad enough for people in their cars driving let alone me walking on those roads, with the mad traffic, trying to chase cars...like this one. Na wa o!
Must they chase †ђξ bus?.y can't they write †ђξ vehicle reg num, anyway rip
Why chasing a vehicle now.. dats somehow sad!
LSG/LASTMA officials really need to be more FRSC, in their conducts I mean. Who dares physically assaults a FRSC official? I read in PUNCH a while back abt a LASTMA official struggling with a bus conductor and eventually killed the conductor. Rather sad.His family will be in so much pain by now. RIP
Oh no! This is sad,may he RIP... I wonder why the government haven't thought of putting up traffic camera's so they can capture and fine traffic offenders, instead of Lastma official chasing after them like this and putting themselves in so much danger.
lool ... but rip doe .. he was probly thinking like god of the road.
Very sad indeed! May his soul rest in perfect peace! It is really sad seeing young people die, especially on duty. God deliver us and please let's exercise more caution on the roads; drivers, pedestrians and law enforcement.Dating a married man? - www.princessofzion.wordpress.com/2012/07/18/he-is-married-why-are-you-dating-him/
The Nasty German Immigrant says...a lot of killing going on in the old country. Its said in the book of hazardous chapt1:1 "...in the last days brother will kill brother for a grain of overcooked rice, while the poor get f@*ked over and out, greedy tax dodging corporations shall feed fat on the good of the land.."guess the book was right.R.I.P Wirklich schade...says Nasty German Immigrant
Errhhmmm.....i think it should be because it makes the state colourful??
I feel u my dear
Money is the root of all evil. I hope his colleagues have learnt from this.
these govt touts self. They risk people's life and now this one risk and even waste his life cos of small change he will collect from the driver. Now a life is lost and i feel bad about that. My heart with his family. To the rest touts in Uniform i say "Be careful"
may his soul rest in peace, for other official its a lesson.why run after a moving vehicle?its unfortunate.
I wish i could feel sorry or say RIP,but i cant, these LATSMA pple are very unreasonable nd wicked so if they want to sacrifice their life for some few wades of naira, they are very welcome!!!
TRAINING!TRAINING!!TRAINING!!! IS ALL THEY NEED.R.I.P
This new background makes me pause n wonder if this is really LIB I opened. Lovely though
Dis is sad. Just last week I saw a lastma official @ agege hanging on to a moving trailer. Am sure he wanted to collect money frm d driver and dat one speed off , so he felt hanging on will make d driver stop. Dat one just kept driving on..shaming d lastma official + it was also dangerous. Some of dem feel dat dia uniform is made of iron or somethin kos the way the stand infront of moving cars is disturbing. Anyways RIP
This reminds me of Sergent Sunday Badang who died in Kano trying 2 defuse a bomb in Kano. Just look at what the level of recklessness and disobedience to law and order has caused.
NIGERIA POLICE FORCE TAKE NOTE AND LEARN FROM THIS DEAD LATSMA. STOP JUMPING IN FRONT OF A MOVING CAR TO STOP IT, ITS FOOLISH. LIFE NOT 20 NAIRA
