Style Night 4 (A red carpet event)
A night of Fashion, Modeling, Music, Comedy and Dance
Anyway for now there's something going down. Style Night 4. We've done three editions but nothing as huge as what we are about to do.
I didn't want to announce it yet until we got something concrete from our sponsors. That happened today, thank God...
So people, our fashion show is going downnnnnnnnnn...I'm so thrilled, 'cos getting sponsors for a fashion show in Nigeria is WAR. Real WAR. But we finally did it.
Let me break it down for you guys

Now here's the deal. The hall we are using is quite big (same venue for Stars on the Runway) and Lagoon Restaurant is soooo expensive. So we want to utilise the hall and make a little money on the side... you know...wink!
So if there's anyone out there who wants to be part of the show, not as a model, or a designer, we have enough of that already, but want to advertise their goods/services...
Here's our offer...
Branding of the hall with your Banners
We give you space to display your goods/services.
You can distribute cards, handbills and also have direct contact with potential clients/customers.
For that you pay a token sum
If you want your company logo on the red carpet banner, you pay a bigger token sum.
If you're interested, or know someone who might be interested, call Santiago on 08035144050. Or Elle on 016635848.
And if you're press and would like to cover the event, just call 016635848, so we can get your press tags ready.
I'm so excited about the show 'cos I've always wanted to do a huge fashion show and it's finally happening. I guess when you work hard enough, things happen...
Stay tuned and get ready people. We are about to rock Lagos!
Will keep you guys updated.
Kisses!

Yay! I agree with you...this is such a big deal! Pls bask in this nicely because you hve worked hard enough.
Don't worry...It's going to ROCK!
P.S. I know you are going to come up with some fantastic way to help those kids. I want to do something as well. I have always wanted to do something for them. The time is near. May God help us...
Mini You!
Mmm I just made scones!... Yeah I totally want to help the kids too (faking a valley girl accent)... Seriously though... the basic ingredients for our things come from African labor... we should start there somehow someway as soon as possible! Limit and drastically reduce Africa's debt... fair trade... people matter and it shows up in the end... comes back to get you... the fashion show was cute!
dont u think d gate fee is too small
Linda,
Nice one. You can open an account and let people donate to empower those kids under the bridge. We are ready to give you all the support.
Kanu is already doing something similar by empowering kids with heart disease, and Jim Iyke with a foundation catering for kids with facial problems. Please take it up as a personal project, and by God's grace it will be successful.
Meanwhile, your breakdown of the show is very enticing. I'm sure nobody will be able to resist the offer. I'm currebtly engaging some friends in 'fashion business'in a serious talk about sponsoring the event. I'll let you know how it goes.
I'll call later for accreditation of Facet magazine (www.facetmagazine.net). Best of luck!

Anyway i always enjoy myself here on ur blog...so keep it up buddy,i will try to make time to see ur models one day and beside it all, place an advert on ur runway...gd luck sis...Chris
I was going to comment on the gate fee....and i saw pple have picked on it....IT IS TOO SMALL! you need to b a bit restrictive on the callibre of people that will gate crash....its not about quantity but quality...
My opinion.....I feel if u raise it to atleast 5k minimum then it goes higher depending on the table...it will spell out that u yourself is chic....
whatever u do...stay away from 2k fee....if i was in nigeria, i will not come based on d 2k...cos i will think all sorths of people will be there...I am not being arrogant (def not!!) but thats life ...aint it!
Goodluck....u rock!
Is there a # we can call regarding helping these kids. I like the idea of setting up an account for them, but I really believe the first step is to have them educated. If we start a fund then we can sponsor them to skull, one child at a time.[Actually that would be a nice name for the project]. Well donne and God bless you.
Way 2 go Linda!!! I think the gate fe is tooooooooooo small.
Congrats Linda! You truly deserve it after all the hardwork you put in!
To Natures gentle Touch: Where Can I find the Nature's gentle touch relaxer and hairsavvy products in the United States? I would love to try your products and I hear it is very good from folks back home
