Tecno provides succor to 3 primary school students with scholarships

In recognition of the important roles children play in the society, smart phone maker, Tecno Mobile has provided succor to three public primary school students in Lagos. The scholarship award worth hundred thousand naira to each student was in commemoration of the 2015 children's day celebration.

Accordingly, Adebanji Ayomide of Royal Kristion College, Daniela Ajayi of Corel Peak School, and Martins Aneleba of Masuvic Glory School all in Lagos State were among among the students that got the scholarship award.

Similarly, Tecno as part of its supports for the growing up also provided educational materials and stationery to the selected public schools. The four selected public schools included Ijaiyeokokoro primary school, Tonia primary school, Ebenezer primary school, and Meiran memorial school. At the event tagged 'Talent Boom', students from 28 primary schools in Lagos converged and demonstrated their intellectual ability to clinch the coveted prize.

The Talent Boom is part of Tecno's Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, and a diversification towards educational support. Speaking at the event, Mr. Ugochukwu Richard, Tecno's Marketing Executive said that the annual event was Tecno's way of improving the standard of education in Nigeria and encouraging the brilliant students in the society. According to him: “Tecno is not only about buying and selling.

We have identified the need to improve the standard of education, that is why we decided to sponsor this event every year on children's day. “In this country where we have several talented people, there are several students who do not have opportunities to excel despite their gift.

The scholarship that we give them will go a long way in their life and will also pass a message about the importance of hard work and reading. “The talent Boom is a great idea that everyone will want to be a part. Our theme for this year is 'Give the children a future'.

That is why Techno is supporting the children morally and academically. We are glad that three students won the scholarship". The trio of AdebanjiAyomide, Daniela Ajayi and Martins Aneleba that won the scholarship said that they were grateful to Tecno for making their lives better and they will not disappoint their parents. The organizer of Talent Boom, ....Alfred, said he was glad that Techno has been consistent with the continuity of the Children's Day talent discovery. He affirmed that the it has really made an impact in the education sector and improve constant reading by students.

Happy New Month!

I pray today marks total turn around in our lives, and point of contact to every household wit God meeting our needs even b4 they arise.

Change does not necessarily assure progress but progress implacably requires change. Change is inevitable. Change 4d better is a full-time job.

Change is here in Nigeria, and remember true change begins with a change in our attitude!
