For many years, the Nigerian Super Eagles has maintained dominance over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, but today, it changed.
South Africa finally defeated Super Eagles for the first time in a competitive game after 13 attempts and the internet can't keep calm.

There are 160,000 women and girls living with HIV in Ghana - UNAIDS
A new report by UNAIDS on HIV prevalence in women has revealed that Ghana is among countries with the highest prevalence rate in West Africa. As many as 160,000 women and girls in Ghana are living with the virus, the report said.
The 2017 report titled “When women lead, change happens – women advancing the end of AIDS” provides global statistics on the prevalence of HIV among women across the world.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Moshood Jimoh, has given an update on the murder case of 42 year old preacher, Eunice Elisha, who was hacked to death while she was preaching in Abuja on July 9th 2016.
Speaking in an interview with Premium Times, Jimoh said the police cannot confirm whether it has made any arrest or not and then went on to state that the force cannot manufacture suspects in any case.

A Ghanaian football player in Gävle, Sweden, Kwame Bonsu, has been sent to prison for assaulting and raping his wife. A Swedish court yesterday sentenced Kwame, who plays in Sweden's second division, to two years in prison for beating and raping his estranged wife.
22-year-old Kwame Bonsu who played for the Gefle IF club, after
serving his sentence will also be deported from the Scandinavian country

Brave Police officer in viral Owerri robbery video died in April
Earlier this week, the CCTV footage of a robbery attack at a Zenith bank branch in Owerri, Imo state sometime in February this year, surfaced online.
In the video, one police officers who was inside the security room in the bank, put up a good fight with the robbers as he engaged them in a gun battle and was able to kill one of them. After shooting one of the robbers dead, the gallant officer identified as Sergeant Chukwudi Iboko, tried to escape from the security post but was shot several times by another robber. Unfortunately Iboke died in April from injuries he sustained from the gun battle.
