"Like your man, but don't love him" Christy Essien Igbokwe
"I will say to them that it is a woman that can keep her home because no man is perfect. But the secret is this, don’t love your man o, but like him very much so that you can tolerate and accommodate his naughtiness and for the children’s sake. Don’t love in order not to be disappointed. Love deals with the heart but liking with the head. Above all, God’s divine hand is essential." Legendary singer, Christy Essien Igbokwe said when asked to advise young women looking to get married.
She's been married for 29 years, so I'm sure she knows what she's talking about. Only I can't marry a man I like very much...I have to love him toh bad! :-)
Is this sound advice really? Don't love your man so you don't get disappointed?

Rev. Tunde Bakare, senior pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, and convener of Save Nigeria Group (SNG), has denied claims by Sahara reporters that fifty thousand dollars was offered to members of the group as bribe in exchange for their support, during a recent visit with President Goodluck Jonathan.
In a telephone conversation with huhuonline.com, Rev Bakare said, “We visited the president, we made our position known to him, and were offered transport money, but we rejected it, based on integrity. “It was not a bribe” he affirmed.
This is getting confusing. I don't know what to think anymore.

President Jonathan Offered Us $50,000 Bribe, But We Returned It - Pastor Tunde Bakare Confirms
Fiery Lagos-based pastor, Tunde Bakare, has confirmed to Saharareporters that President Goodluck Jonathan proivede a $50, 000 cash bribe to a delegation of the Save Nigeria Group that visisted him last Monday, but that the group sent back the money.
Quote of the day!
“I think it is important to point out that the current effort by President Goodluck Jonathan to continue in office after ending his tenure on 29th May 2011, instead of ensuring we have free and fair elections in this country, is a reflection of the governance crisis. We have a President who is trying to self succeed himself through a process which amount to a political coup in his own political party. In a democracy nobody should think that he/she has to be president or there will be no Nigeria. I have to make this point because a Minister had warned that if Goodluck Jonathan does not emerge as President there will be crisis in Nigeria, so if this is the case what is the point of conducting elections?” - M. D. Yusuf, former IG of Police and Presidential candidate
Rihanna's still talking about Chris Brown
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Rihanna talks (again) about her break up with Chris Brown.
Rihanna says,
“Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing…I witnessed it happening to my mum and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening. Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was.”Guess it takes a while to finally let go...
