When I came to the realization that sex is the least important part of a relationship with anyone of the opposite sex that you're not married to, I stopped dating altogether because honestly, I would never marry a girl I have had sex with before marriage. When I came to this decision I was riddled with guilt that still haunts me till date because of all the girls I have had flings with 0 attachment to it. But here are my reasons for coming to this decision.
1 - I noticed that after sex I suddenly lose all respect for the girl. Instead of getting closer to her, I am immediately detached. She's no longer special. She becomes like someone I just used to satisfy a desire I couldn't control. It made me feel weak and I always beat myself up because I felt like I have let God down. That was usually the most painful part and I start seeing the girl as the one who made me sin. But it wasn't her fault. I approached her and got her to fall for me and give herself to me. 2. Having sex before marriage in my opinion, takes away any magic of the wedding night. If you've seen it all and done it all before getting married What's special about the wedding night anymore? I'll tell u what - absolutely nothing. It's just like every other sexual experience you've always had. That day being your wedding day doesn't make the sex any special. But when it's the first time, that's complete magic. Some would argue that you have to test before you buy. That's garbage insecurity talk. You have a lifetime to live together. Learn and grow into each other as you go. If the man no sabi, teach him how to satisfy you. If the woman no sabi, teach her. Communicate clearly about these things and every other thing and work with each other to make your lives work.
