We in the North of Nigeria wear our shoes with socks on traditional dresses. It was when I got to lagos, I noticed, lagosians don't. Guys respect and understand differences. Hence, look at the northerners foot wear and southerners foot wear and you will notice what am saying when they wear natives. Both ways comfortable.
