I do not think that it would solve the security issues at hand in Lagos, just wondering the essence of the initiative, alright a crime or surveillance is captured on CCTV, do the Nigerian police have data base to reference with, I honestly do not think so. I think the Govt should spend more funds in providing adequate infrastructure for policing i.e more police patrol cars equipped with proper communication gadgets this would quicken the response time by the police, in addition to providing adequate remuneration for police officers.

I see people hate themselves soooo very much that they cant even acknowledge baby steps to a great nation. That you forsaken peeps cant do any positive thing with your lives, does not mean others are not trying.

The Idea of CCTV is perfect and from there, we can move on to information gathering. Success always and i stress, always begins with a step.

Bullshit.... Who is this CCTV suppose to deter. Theives, killer or currupt policemen or even boko'z.

The money is better spent reviving the economy. In fact Which electricity go power the CCTV sef.

Who is going to man the CCTV station, access to all our information and movements just from one corrupt cctv person to the armed robbers, dat us finished. They will have information such as, times we visit the bank, time we cash up from our businesses, time customers bring money. Lets just scrap this CCTV business until our ppl are honest. At the moment every man for himself oooo..
