Delta State born singer, Uwale Okoro, popularly known as Essence, is back with a new album. The 14-track album will be launched on Sunday May 23, 2010, at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, @4pm. This is her second album. The first one, Truly Essence, was released in 2004.

Omawumi, Keffe, Ego (Lagbaja's ex singer) and Essence have the best young female voices in Nigeria. Jahdel and Waje are good too.
Essence should get a personal trainer and jog twice a week to keep her weight down. Avoid starchy food e.g. hardly any chips and bread. More salads and fruits. The protein diet is in vogue again.
