LadybrilleNigeria.com an online magazine website “Connecting Nigeria’s Fashion Industry Worldwide,” collaborates with current Nigerian Minister of Finance Olusegun Aganga’s Nigeria’s Leadership Initiative (NLI) non-profit organization to sponsor its Notes2Note Campaign.
Notes2Note is part of the NLI’s CLEVER initiative self-sustaining civics ethics program that tells the story of Nigeria’s rich history; using Naira notes to illustrate core values of the country’s founding fathers.
“On a personal and professional note, I am excited about LadybrilleNigeria’s affiliation with Notes2Note Campaign,” said Uduak Oduok, Founder of LadybrilleNigeria and a USA based Nigerian-American Attorney whose legal and media career has included working with and motivating youths.
“As a nation and people, we have an obligation to provide a solid foundation for our youths and instill in them a sense of hope, pride and belief that they can excel in whatever their chosen career fields are,” adds Oduok. “I am humbled and hope the LadybrilleNigeria brand continues to be a part of the solution in helping inspire youths, within and outside Nigeria.”
The Notes2Note project launches with an afternoon video premiere on May 26th, 2010 at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas. The project will screen and distribute a twenty (20) minute multimedia documentary (with illustrations by MI, Sasha, BOUQUI, Omawumi, Kate Henshaw-Nuttal, Aisha Augie-Kuta, TY Bello, Chioma Omeruah (C-Flow) and RoofTop Mcs) to secondary (high) school students that includes video clips, graphics and animation illustrating the country’s history.
