Photo: Police swoop on three suspected cultists lodged in hotel in Abia, recovers axe, weeds

Three suspected cultists have been arrested by men of the Abia State Police Command.
The suspects paraded today at the command headquarters, were arrested on Friday, July 7, after detectives responded to information received that they lodged in one Grand Lotto Hotel in Aba.

"Detectives attached to Ndiegoro Division swooped on the trio of Obike Stanley, Favour Michael and Kingsley Uchenna both males of Ken-Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori and Rivers State Polytechnic, Ogoni respectively," said DSP Geoffrey Ogbonna, spokesperson for the command.
Items recovered from them includes one axe, cultist regalia, tramadol tablets and weeds suspected to be Indian-hemp. 

The suspects confessed being members of New Black Movement of Africa (NBM). Investigation is in progress.
