Pope Francis says church may consider making married men priests

Pope Francis has said that the church may consider ordaining married men who could potentially then work in remote areas facing a shortage of priests.
'We must think about whether viri probati are a possibility,” Francis said in an interview published on Thursday. He was referring to older, married men who are already involved in church business.
'Then we have to decide what tasks they can take on, for example in remote communities,' he said in the interview with German weekly Die Zeit.
Many in the church believe, given the lack of priests in many places, that a new path to ordination should be opened.
They think that in addition to priests who take a vow of celibacy, older, married men with a long commitment to the church could also be considered as priests.

This pope is sure a liberal and a progressive. He isn't enmeshed in age old canon laws. He seeks accommodation for world's refugee and displaced population and has an open heart for people no matter their sexual orientation, opposed to right-wing populism surging in Europe, calling for food security for the world's hunger stricken nations.
He is simply and purely human, unlike those who believe that "what was, still is", he knows too well that ours is a dynamic world.

Better than them molesting altar boys because of their sex-starved lives, while pretending to be celibate.

Somebody tell the Pope that Celibate Priesthood is optional. If you see a Road Sign saying "Celibates Only", why head in that direction when you intend to marry? The truth is that there are priests who are truly living the celibate life including, Pope Francis. Another truth is that not everyone is called to the celibate priesthood.

The idea is not bad, but we have to mined what we say. I encourage us to fight for our souls and leave priests alone to avoid adding to our load of existing troubles. The greatest achievement would be to save your soul.
