Sly Sotie: a popular pop artist/musician is a native of Benin city Nigeria, He was christened Saturday sylvester Abifade by his parents Mr and Mrs abifade. He is the 7th and the last child of his beloved parents.

 Sly sotie was nick named by his friends 'sotie'as the name implies is a derivative of a Spanish word meaning (soldier) he finished from Alimosho grammar school in suburb of Lagos state Nigeria and then travelled to further  is education in United Kingdom at Barking & Dagenham college.
