The body of late Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Ojo
Maduekwe departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja and arrived at Sam
Mbakwe Airport Owerri. The former Minster of Transport passed away on at his residence in Abuja on June 29th, shortly after returning from the US. He was aged 71.
There
will be a Court Session by the Nigeria Bar Association(NDA) at
Judiciary headquarters, Umuahia later today. Then his body will depart
Umuahia for Asaga, Ohafi where a Service of Songs and Christian Wake
will hold at Ojo Maduekwe Residence, Asaga, Ohafia. On Saturday, there will be burial service by Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, followed by Internment at his ancestral home.

Ojo is a fool and will never find a perfect rest. 180 bags of rice was found in his residence here in ohafia. Lo and behold, they rice have spoilt and it's now been used to check erosions in his compound whereas people are dying of hunger all over. Nobody from ohafia is saying good about him. Nobody it has been raining all through. They should please do the burial sharp sharp and leave our cool town for abeg

KNOWN THROUGHOUT NIGERIA AND THE WORLD OVER BUT NOT KNOWN BY HIS OWN PEOPLE, HIS PLACE OF BIRTH, ASAGA OHAFIA, OHAFIA AT LARGE (OFU-RI-ISHI - THE TWENTY SIX VILLAGES) AND ABIA STATE. ITS VERY UNFORTUNATE HE DIED WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYBODY'S LIFE. HE RATHER MADE TROUBLE EVERYWHERE HE WENT AT HOME EVEN IN HIS FATHER'S HOUSE. HE REFUSED TO IDENTIFY WITH THOSE THAT MATTERED AT HOME THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE. NEVERTHELESS, MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE. THAT IS ALL I CAN WISH HIM AS A CHRISTIAN.
