Skye Bank Celebrates 36 Millionaires…announces Phase II of ‘Reach for the Skye’ Millionaire Reward Scheme

In the space of 12 months, Skye Bank Plc. has made 36 Nigerians Millionaires in its on-going ‘Reach for the Skye’ Millionaire Reward Scheme. The initiative was designed to reward its loyal customers for saving and to encourage a savings culture among Nigerian customers as well as support Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) to boost the Nigerian economy.

In the same vain, the bank recently announced the kickoff of the second phase of the Reward Scheme at the gala event which held at Protea Hotel, Awolowo Road, South-west Ikoyi Lagos; organized to celebrate all the winners. This affirms that there are still lots of opportunities for more winners to emerge in future draws.

The event was attended by top management of Skye Bank and National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC). They include Executive Director, Commercial and Retail Banking, Skye Bank Plc., Bayo Sanni; Group Head, Retail Banking at Skye Bank Plc., Nkolika Okoli; Head, Strategic Brand Management, Skye Bank Plc. Nduneche Ezurike, Manager Regulation and Monitoring, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Nwakuche Durugo, Assistant Manager, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Afam Francis Ojeh and a host of others.

Speaking on the initiative, Head, Retail Banking at Skye Bank Plc., Nkolika Okoli disclosed that the scheme was established to increase the flow of funds to support SMEs, accelerate employment generation and development of indigenous entrepreneurship as well as encourage saving culture among Nigerians.

Also speaking on the initiative, the Executive Director, Commercial and Retail banking, Skye Bank Plc., Mr. Bayo Sanni, revealed that the initiative had remained firm despite the challenging economy, adding that the bank was committed to delivering quality innovative services to customers.

Since inception, the reward scheme has produced 36 millionaires; 36 winners of N1,000,000 each; 48 winners of N250,000 each, 120 winners of N100,000 and others. Several new customers have been awarded instant prizes which include table top fridges, generators, table top gas cookers, mobile phones, blenders and recharge cards at every location such as Oyo, Ondo, Calabar, Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Sokoto, Aba, Onitsha and Abuja.

The offer is open to customers who operate Skye Save Plus Account or Skye Ease Account and make a minimum deposit of two thousand naira (N2,000), and existing customers who operate a Skye Save Plus or Skye Ease Account, and increase deposits with a minimum of N2,000 only to stand a chance of becoming our next millionaire in the next draw.
