Former running mate of President Buhari in the 2011 general election says institutional reforms and constitutional amendments are required and that Integrity is not enough to run Nigeria. He said this while speaking at a public policy forum in Lagos.
“Integrity is not enough to run a nation, Nigeria must be born again”he said.

We need to restructure the country,focus development at the regional level,give more resources to the states but alongside institutional changes that empower the public in several ways to monitor and question spending of public funds,give autonomy to state assemblies, introduce proportional representation in the legislator to guarantee that it is no longer a rubber stamp,erge and give more resources to local governments to drive development from below and introduce death penalty for corruption in government. Buhari's integrity is not enough to take us to promised land.
