Ukachi Amaechi was a member representing Owerri West constituency from 2007-2011. She was laid to rest today 29th in her father's compound at Obinze. Internment was at Baptist Primary school field Obinze. She was the first female majority leader of the IMO house of
assembly. She died on 18th December, 2015 from
complications of kidney transplant .
She was d wife of popular IMO
business mogul and activist Nze Ebubeagu Ekenulo until she joined
politics. Left to mourn her are her two daughters: Adaku and Osinachi. May her soul rest in peace, amen.
