Hours after court orders Tompolo's arrest, militants blow up oil facilities in Delta state

Hours after a court ordered the arrest of a former Niger Delta warlord, Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, some Niger Delta militants this morning blew up strategic oil pipelines in Warri South West local government area in Delta state.

The militants in other coordinated attacks, blew up oil pipelines between Ikpokpo and Odidi flow stations, mostly in Gbaramatu kingdom. Residents of the area say the attacks started shortly before midnight and lasted till the early hours of Friday morning. Most of them have fled their homes for fear of a gun battle between the militants and the military.

@anonymous 10:20pm because bad behaviour spreads. If you have a cancer, would you wait till it reaches a dangerous stage? Im sure the pain will subconsciously make you see a doctor asap. Thats the case with nigeria n buhari. Someone has just gotta treat this cancer but it spreads beyond incurable.

Tompolos arrest warrant was signed as a protest for their failed attempt to win the election in bayelsa.. I don't side with war and terrorism...... but terrorism has plenty sides to it...... if tompolo is guilty as charged he should be punished. But this is a sensitive time to bid for his arrest

Is this of any good to me? No!

Why would tompolo honour the efcc call? Or even allow himself to be brough to court? Buhari has made it clear that when the decision of an independent arm of a democratic government does not do his bid then he'll tyranically shove their decision aside. Why would anyone allow himself to go to a court where you'll never get fair judgement.if buhari can ignore court's decision, then every Nigerian citizen can also follow suit.

Seriously why would tompolo answer the efcc when it's ok for our democratically elected president can just shove aside, the decision of an independent arm of a democratic government.(judiciary) just bcos their decision does not favour his tyrannical agenda. Then he's set precedence that it's ok to rubbish the constitution of our great nation. Then I guess tompolo and every Nigerian citizen can just go ahead and ignore the laws of our land.
