Hours after court orders Tompolo's arrest, militants blow up oil facilities in Delta state

Hours after a court ordered the arrest of a former Niger Delta warlord, Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, some Niger Delta militants this morning blew up strategic oil pipelines in Warri South West local government area in Delta state.

The militants in other coordinated attacks, blew up oil pipelines between Ikpokpo and Odidi flow stations, mostly in Gbaramatu kingdom. Residents of the area say the attacks started shortly before midnight and lasted till the early hours of Friday morning. Most of them have fled their homes for fear of a gun battle between the militants and the military.

    I have said it before, Buhari lacks the competence to rule Nigeria. His vindictive Nature will put Nigeria into big chaos. There are some people who do not "offend or go after" (doing so will bring down your Government).You use tact and diplomacy to win their hearts. Right now Oil prices should be between 30/40 dollars per barrel.If Oil facilities are blown, how do we survive as a country? Nigeria is so broke as it stands now, can we afford to break up finally?
    Buhari is an Idiot of the highest order. He won't go and fight and destroy Boko haram members that have killed over 20 thousand Nigerians, he is coming after TOMPOLO that won't take him up to 3 days to destroy Our oil facilities and forever bring down Nigeria. What about IBB, OBJ, ABDUSALAM,AND ATIKU that have stolen wealth that can build our country for life? why can't he go after them? Someone should warn him that if he dares to bring down Nigeria, he will have himself to blame.

    Perhaps Tompolo wwould have submitted himself easily if he knew justice would be done.

    He may have calculated the risk and seen that it's better to hide and attack the govt than be put in prison like Kalu and Dasuki and even if the court grants bail, be bundled into a van by NIMASA boss and suffer humiliation like Metuh.

    They're always adverse effects of impunity and a witless president. You think America doesn't have things they ignore? You think Bush family is pure? A wise country calculates and puts it's citizens and resources before shadows like PMB is chasing.

    I feared this, when some people went about making the country 'ungovernable', they didn't take into cognisance the fact that there are others who are more strategically placed to hurt them. I hope PMB is at the top of his game. A response like Odi/Zakibiam is out of the question, these guys know the creeks and can navigate it blindfolded, Boko haram inflicted losses but they pale in contrast to the economic loss this will inflict, the outlook is scary when you take record low oil prices into account. Natural laws ALWAYS hold true, action and reaction are equal and opposite. You don't tear down a house you hope to inhabit. Anyone see the return of OBJ in all this? I do. It could get so bad that people will reach out for anything that offers even the faintest hope of social and economic security, who better to deliver it than the man who has been scheming and plotting his way to third term. To the hungry, even the bitter is sweet, he'll be accepted with open arms. If it sounds ludicrous, it's probably because it is but then, who could envision PMB in Aso Rock four short years ago?
