Scoale Entertainment in partnership with Access Bank host the inaugural edition of the Queens for Queens Benefit Dinner

Scoale Entertainment, REDI Nigeria and the Hacey in partnership with Access Bank host the inaugural edition of the Queens for Queens Benefit Dinner. The Summit which is scheduled to hold is on the 27th of December at the Oriental Hotel is themed “Lending a Voice to the Emancipation of the Girl Child”.

For several centuries, the girl child has suffered marginalization, disregard and undermining. She has been the victim of rape, early marriage, kidnap, abuse, slavery and several other vices.

The importance and significance of her empowerment has been underestimated. Whilst she enjoys several privileges in some parts of the world, she is still considered to be disadvantaged in most parts of the world, Nigeria inclusive. She is still being stereotyped and restricted by various glass ceilings that the society has created. Many times, she is told she will not amount to much or nothing at all and she has believed it for many years, thereby restricting herself to the confines of society’s dictates. With over 20 million girls in Nigeria between the ages of 10 and 19, it is imperative that the movement for their emancipation is unhindered.

This is the purpose for this concert: to celebrate the girls who have broken free and to empower the others to do same. The dinner will be highlighting issues concerning the gender inequality facing the girl child in Nigeria. The REDI Education Development Initiative (an initiative that provides education grant and mentorship to young girls in rural areas across Nigeria) will be launched and funds will be raised to invest in the lives of a hundred less privileged girls with N100,000:00 educational grant per child per cycle.

The event which is strictly by invitation, will have in attendance CEOs, entertainers and beauty queens who believe in and support the empowerment of the girl child. For more information on sponsoring a child or being a part of this dinner, please contact the Project Director via email at redinigeria@gmail.com or on 07039118888 or 08169172137. About REDI REDI (REDI Education Development Initiative) is an initiative established by SCOALE Entertainment, designed to contribute to the education of children in rural societies across Nigeria.

In this scheme, corporate organizations, celebrities and interested individuals sponsor a child in the rural areas with a minimum of ₦100,000 for a year. This will cover the tuition and materials required by each recipient for the academic year.
