Nigerian doctor and 2 nurses accused of causing a woman's death after abortion in London

Dr Adedayo Adedeji, 63, two nurses, Margaret Miller, 55, from Camberley, Surrey, and Gemma Pullen, 32, from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, have been accused of manslaughter by gross negligence of a woman who died after an abortion in their hospital.

32-year-old Aisha Chithira died after having a termination at a Marie Stopes clinic in Ealing, west London, on January 21, 2012. All three appeared at a short hearing at the Old Bailey before Judge Charles Wide today, Friday Nov. 27, and denied killing Ms Chithira.

They were not arraigned on further charges of failing to take reasonable care of the health and safety on the woman contrary to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. A six-week trial is scheduled to start on March 7th 2016. The defendants are on bail.

Can you Imagine what has befall the obviously seasoned M.D. People need to be careful and practice some more self regulation. Abortion is always a risky undertaking. M.D must fully evaluate their professional exposure even before that of the patient

This is a sad occurrence for the family of the dead, however facts needs to be established about other underlining health conditions of the deceased. Dr Adedeji has been my family doctor since 2006 He is the best! He is so professional, Helpful and one of the very best in the whole borough of Barking and Dagenham. When he is not in the surgery you don't want any other doctor as a result of his attention to details and good memory. I had three children under his care and you will hear other consultants in the hospital say he is one of the best gynaecologist around. I honestly pity him, he should be close to retirement and to now spend the end of his professional tenure this way is sad. I pray for the truth established. Only people with experience of how health and social care rules and regulations are in this country will understand.
