Fatal accident on Lagos-Ore road leaves many dead (Graphic pics)

Full load of God is Good motors this morning collided with a Dangote truck heading to Lagos. The commercial bus was from Lagos heading to the East when it got involved in a head on collision at Ore Sagamu Expressway with the truck that was heading to Lagos. All passengers in the bus died.. and the photos are sad and very graphic so be warned. More photos after the cut...

something has to be done about Dangote truck drivers. As for GIG, they should call their drivers to Order. They over-speed alot. RIP to the dead and may God comfort the families they left behind

I received the shocking news this morning. An in-law who returned from the US recently with his family, lost same in the accident. My heart bled.

Accidents happens no doubt. But is there a way to minimize them? Yes!
Sweden has what she terms Zero Vision on accidents. This means that within the projected time line, little or no road accidents will be experience on Swedish roads. Every conscious effort is made to realize this vision within the projected year by rigorous driving lessons, good roads marked with appropriate speed limits and road signs; clear lane markings, strict control on speed limits by stationary and mobile speed cameras, zero tolerance on Driving Under the Influence, etc, etc.

What do we do in Nigeria to reduce road accidents on our roads? Clearly, what we do now, such as adhoc program directed at road users by FRSC as festive period approaches is not enough. Driving license issuing offices, the VIOs, the Police, are to jointly share the blame of the carnage on our roads. These organs of government should and MUST take the job of saving the lives of Nigerian road users seriously by doing the needful.

May their souls rest in Peace, Accidents happen everyday, the numbers in this case is just unfortunate. I believe when God says its ur time there's nothing no one can do about it. No need to curse or blame. The roof over your head or the ground your standing on can kill you in secs. who will you blame then.

May the souls of the departed RIP
Remember when a man die, Jesus has come for him.
For the living, today is the day of salvation, accept Jesus as the Lord of your life
and repent from your sins.
