End-of-year LIB Giveaway continues! Win 2 Blackberry Passports

I told y'all I will be giving away 10 Blackberry Passports courtesy Blackberry Nigeria. The phones are already in my possession...and they are worth about N150k each. I will be giving away 2 phones everyday from today Dec 15th to Friday Dec. 19th. But to win this is a little different from the random selection I do with the money giveaway. You have to work a little harder to win this...:-)

To win a phone, write a short note on what you like about Blackberry on the comment section. The guys at Blackberry Nigeria will review entries and send names of winners to me. If you win, you will meet me this weekend to collect your phone. If you don't live in Lagos, we will find a way to send the phone to you. Good luck guys...

i've not used much of blackberry products but the ones have used,my experience has been good so far. i think blackberry is not for anybody because it's different and ultra classy.. though it heavier than other smartphones( i won't be droppig it anyhow cos i'll know there's something i my hand) and i don't really like the design but i think it's a monster phone compared to ios and os.. it's futuristic and well manufactured..hahahaha TMI

ok, now my POV. first the 3g and 4g, been trying to get my hands on a 3g and 4g specified phone ad alas blackberry has done it. it's actually an achievement..

then the screen size and protection
yaaay! the screen size is a solid 10 for me.. it makes reading easier and scrolling less often..then the multi touch( beast of a phone)

the memory is better compared to the so called ios memory..(have
not used it)

camera ( what i love most about a phone :D) according to what i've read from users, the camera is great, anyways i'm not really surprised, blackberry does it for me in terms of camera..(be prepared instagram)

the battery and speed according to the specs, it's just perfect for anything you want to use it for

my review is just my POV,, i've not used the phoe before

finally i'll say the phone is one word

A MONSTER

Talk about its sleek designs with every new released product..blackberry keeps getting better. The picture quality is indeed fascinating, the security app feature keeps your mind at rest when you lose your blackberry phone. The backup feature and synchronization is user friendly and reliable. It is the first phone ever to have BBM chat which has made communication easy between family, friends, business associate over the years. I and people around me can affirm that blackberry smartphones are durable because it is the most used phone with good battery life and long life span. Till date I use a blackberry bold 9700 which I purchased 5 years ago and my reason to get rid of this phone is if I get a free upgrade from LIB blackberry give away.

There are things about BlackBerry that simply doesn’t let its hard core fans and users like me down,When it comes to technology, Android and iOS devices are at the top of the food chain. So, does that mean BlackBerry is being completely outclassed OR out of the limelight definitely not infact blantantly NEVER!!
Permit me to outlist the reasons i like my BB Gadgets in formal details...
1). Great Keyboards – BlackBerry keyboards are pretty flexible and of great help for fast texting without errors. The keyboards feel way better than touch type. It’s like, you can carry grocery in one hand and text on the other, Amazing huh?
2). Variety in Styles – Frankly speaking, one gets bored of the same old block style. Be it the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the iPhone 5, it’s the same style. With BlackBerry however, you have several unique form factors to choose from – Full QWERTY (Bold/Curve), QWERTY Slider (Torch 9800/9810), Full Touchscreen (Torch 9850/9860 and Z3/Z10), Suretype (Pearl 3G) and QWERTY Flip (Pearl Flip). A style for everyone, all exclusively from BB smart world of possibilities..
3). Can Be Used Anywhere – An unlocked BlackBerry can be used on almost any carrier around the world, so you are not limited to a few specific carriers.
4). Easy Charging – All new BlackBerry phones use a standardize Micro-USB connector for charging and synchronization both for extracting files and sending...
5). International Roaming – Because BlackBerry supports international carriers, international roaming is not an issue. However, am careful with this as the roaming charges from my carrier might be a little challenging.
6). Unlimited Wi-Fi Calling – If the BlackBerry runs on T-Mobile USA, it offers unlimited Wi-Fi calling from any corner of the world. WOW!!!! Thought you would shout this one out.......
7). Expandable Memory – Fit in as many gigabytes as you want! With flexible memory card options, you don’t have to be limited to phone sets that have a set amount of internal memory.
8). Smooth Multitasking – Oh yes. You can browse and answer messages at the same time. Multi-tasking is smooth and flexible in the Blackberry.yummmy right?
9). BlackBerry Messenger – Before WhatsApp, Viber, and all the other new messaging applications arrived the BlackBerry Messenger was king. Many of its features were copied by its competitors and it is still the most secured messaging app on the market. Best of all, it’s FREE!!!
10. Security – There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world. There is a reason why the White House uses them and does not allow the President to switch even though he insist on ditching his Blackberry. Am sure most of us dont know this one LOL
11. Email – Simply put, none of BlackBerry’s competitors have been able to match the effectiveness of Blackberry’s distinguished email system.
14. Relatively Inexpensive – The latest BlackBerry can be purchased for at a a very low affordable price tagged from the company’s website. This is at incomparably cheaper than even the least expensive iPhone 5s or Galaxy S4 or Note.
15. Battery Life – Even though battery life differs with each specific BlackBerry phone, in general the average battery life of a BlackBerry cell phone is superior to that of its rivals.
16. Screen Share – Don’t limit yourself to calling and texting. Share your screen with anyone you wish through the BBM app.
17.BBM Social – If you are a developer, the BBM Social Platform API will provide you with access to the social features and functionality of the BlackBerry Messenger, all from within your app.
18.Peek-a-Boo – Newer BlackBerry smartphones allow you to sneak a peek at your latest notifications and messages without the need to switch or exit the current app you are using.

the BlackBerry is a very unique phone and I wouldn't trade it for any other device for soo many reasons....the QWERTY keyboard which allows me to type without errors, the several subscription plans, the bbm which is by far the most interactive instant messaging platform ( very effective for amebo and hot gist) , the bbm video and voice calls which save me loads of call airtime and most importantly that famous red indicator light that alerts me when I've had a missed call, fb message, tweet or instagram message......I just looooooove BlackBerry phones! !.....spicyvokes2002@yahoo.com

Title: Why I Like Blackberry Phones

One major reason why i love blackberry is because it can Control PC from BlackBerry. No matter where you are you can view your desktop screen and zoom in and out with full control over the mouse and keyboard - RDM+

It has built-in Yahoo Messenger, Aim, ICQ, Google Talk, BB Messenger, MSN Messenger

I love it coz it Plays songs on home stereo/pc speakers. I have a stereo (12 speakers) in my room and is connected to my computer with a little RCA to 3.5mm jack. I have a bluetooth adapter on the computer that I connect my BB with. I set the software to play any sounds coming from my blackberry on the computer. Also I can play sounds from my computer on my blackberry. - Widcomm Bluetooth Adapter

I love it coz it Views web pages as they ACTUALLY look. - Opera mobile
View slide show of your pictures.

You can Play FULL LENGTH movies on your blackberry! (This process is for movies that are already ripped or downloaded to your computer.)
Also you can switch to full screen and watch movies and the BB light will not go dim while it is playing). On long rides, lunch breaks, you're never bored!
New features of OS 4.5 (free upgrade on blackberry.com)
-Stream media. Watch Youtube or listen to the radio.
-Use playlists in media player.
-Use video capture.
-Record audio.
-Use up to 16gb memory card.
Run emulators like Super Nintendo and play games like Super Mario Kart, Mario World etc.
Download software to view and edit Office docs like Excel and Word.
Built in ability to view word documents but only in .TXT format.
The ability to program dial extensions. If you have to pay a bill every month and hate using the automated phone service, you can program the extensions you dial into your blackberry so whenever you call the number, the BB will remember what to press.
Reliable task scheduler/calendar. I'm not a morning person, but we all have to work. So I scheduled an alarm for every weekday and the BB never let me down. I can hit the snooze button and set snooze length in settings. I make sure I have extra fail safe alarms in case I don't get the hint.
Change the color of the trackball and/or indicator light at the top. -Color Pearl
Download powerful Google maps. Whenever I go out of town, Google will find the nearest signal tower and give me a relatively close guess as to where I am (not using GPS). I can have it pull up gas stations, restaurants, even clubs.
The headphone jack is not proprietary (use any standard headphones). The charger is not proprietary (can be charged from usb any computer).
Set your calendar to automatically switch profiles. If you have classes between 9am and 2pm you can set it to vibrate during that time and go back to normal during other times. -BB Profiles

" I no dey talk am make e sweet!" That's what a very close friend of mine says when he is excited and wants to tell the truth about something. Wizzy, ( That's my friends name) please permit me to borrow that phrase of yours so those folks at Blackberry would really know how excited and honest I'm about what I want to say. ( He has granted me permission) Thank you Wizzy.
I no dey talk am make e sweet! I only recently started using a Blackberry phone and truthfully, it's the bomb. It let's me access the internet at anytime I want at very reasonable rates. I can multi task; access different applications at thesame time with relative ease. I must say that my Blackberry phone is my best companion at the moment( my girlfriend ditched me a couple of weeks ago). But I wish my Blackberry Torch 9860 had longer battery life so I wouldn't have to be without my boo at times ( I mean, my phone. It's my current girlfriend). As I write this, I'm charging her ( pun intended) at a ' betting centre' and if ya'll must know, the majority of phones charging here are Blackberry phones. I no dey talk am make e sweet but Blackberry na the bomb!

The best analogy is looking at the person you want to marry vs the person you should marry.
Most often we choose a partner based on looks, not personal compatibility and find it to be a rather unpleasant experience in the long run. Someone who's more aligned with your interests will be a better long-term asset and partner as you drift through life.
BlackBerry has always been my best business phone. The point is, we're easily distracted with shiny things, hence most people go for other brand of phone but personally I go for BLACKBERRY Product because it is pocket friendly, my business phone, and a long-term asset and partner. What I like about Blackberry phones is it balance feature that allows the phone serve as both a personal and work device all in one phone, it has the best physical keyboard amongst other phone and the ability of sending mails faster than the capabilities of yahoo, Gmail etc.. the internet experience is blazing fast.
majorly the blackberry phone Hub consolidates messages from all of my email account with instant messages and social networking updates. from the messenger my phone calls, voicemail and text messages are handled . the program offers the ability to peek at messages and has context sensitive tool to help you handle all incoming traffic.

I and people around me can affirm that blackberry smartphones are durable because it is the most used phone with good battery life and long life span. As an IT professional, Blackberry has made my work so easy. It’s not only about the fruity feel in the name “BlackBerry”, it’s all about its functionality. I love the fact that it comes with an inbuilt Apps that supports Word(Doc), Excel (XLS), PowerPoint (PPT). This enables me send my weekly reports promptly.
BlackBerry Messenger can be a definite asset, if you want to exchange messages with other Blackberry users. With it, you can:
1. Have real-time conversation with friends and colleagues in several different locations or carry on several conversations simultaneously (BBM)
2. Send and receive an unlimited number of messages worldwide for free with no per-message charge.
3. Chat with a group(BB Group)
4. Continue using other programs and send and receive e-mails while BlackBerry Messenger is running….i.e. ability to multitask.

Finally, with the Blackberry Protect, I feel so secured. This BlackBerry feature help protect my information, automatic backups, easily locate my phone and finally, it makes it’s easier to switch to a new BlackBerry smartphone. It saved me the stress of re-inviting all my 300 BBM Contacts.

Blackberry.
-Take a look at that logo.
The blackberry logo can be identified by almost anyone. its not one of those logos that you don't have to think hard to remember the name of the brand.
-The QWERTY keyboard.
I mastered where each key was and could type with my eyes closed. I mean, it was a silent competition and I would take pride when someone complements the speed with I type. I even miss getting on my aunt's nerves with the "click! click! click! " of my key pad.
-The subscription.
irrespective of the carrier, the Blackberry internet subscription cost next to nothing. I would use my Blackberry as a hotspot for my other phone, which is an iphone and costs a lot of money for data.
-The memory is amazing.
the indicator lights :) o yea, I know when I have a message, always looking out for it.I once downloaded an app that allowed me have more options and colors for different apps
-The Blackberry email client.
which some non Blackberry hones have adopted.
-Obama
Even Obama uses a Blackberry, you really can't beat that.
-BBM
That was just genius.
everybody wanted BBM and before now, you had to have a BB to have BBM. Blackberry owners are in a class of their own, no contest.

I haven't read up on the Passport, but I would most def not mind having one Blackberry Passport.

To every matter there are two sides, and I did not coin that, it is a verity evinced in life itself… we have blackberry & we have the other brands.
The Blackberry Brand came into the Nigerian market and consciousness at a time we were getting pretty fustrated of going to cafes to do something as ordinary as checking mails and the likes. The Blackberry ushered a new belief and sort of re-orientation for the teeming youths of which I'm a proud member, the blackberry has disabused the notion that Internet and messaging platforms are only to be enjoyed on a desktop computers. We can now enjoy seemless ease on the go
Just at a time we thought RIM couldn't go any better....Like a Second coming, the BB10 Series of Blackberry have successfully staked it's claim as the leading phone brand in the country. Truly Blackberry is " primus interpares non secundum" i.e First among Equals.
You don't have to be an elephant to be relevant, hence you don't have to manufacture phone models everyday to be the best. BlackBerry is the BEST!!

I love my BlackBerry and I’m not ashamed to admit it.
Because when it comes to wireless communication, nothing beats the simple utility of RIM’s BlackBerry smartphone with its keypad αи∂ Qwerty capability.
My BlackBerry has always been
the gold standard for e-mail. When social media came on the scene I loved how fast I could navigate between core apps like Twitter,
BBM, facebook , Badoo and e-mail.

Usability of a BlackBerry, for what I cared about, has always beat the iPhone αи∂ android devices..talking about †Ñ’ξ BB10, The phone has a web browser that keeps up with the competition, voice control and thousands of apps.
And the functionality???? I fell in love with it.
The BlackBerry “Hub” is
always accessible and puts all my messages in one convenient place.
The BlackBerry “Flow”
experience is entirely built on gestures, meaning that task-switching is super fast αи∂ done with a single finger.
My BB10 doesn't have a malware problem like Android...whether this is due to BB10's marketshare or whether its because BB10 is inherently more secure but †Ñ’ξ fact remains that Android has a problem with malware for instance FAKE ID which affects every version of Android currently in use up to Kitkat where it was patched. My BB10 allows you to change †Ñ’ξ permission allocated to an app αи∂ control what part of a phone it is allowed to access either while installing †Ñ’ξ app or downloading it.
BB10 is a gesture based OS αи∂ this makes BB10 easier to use αи∂ gives you more control over what †Ñ’ξ OS is doing...
You can even use the hub to send messages using whatever messaging service you have on †Ñ’ξ phone (even social networking services can be used from †Ñ’ξ Hub)...
My BB10's File manager has a richer interface, access box, drop box, one drive.. It places apps in an "Active Frame" pane when they are minimised where they can remain closed or maximised ....while in an active frame, the app can still display whatever information †Ñ’ξ app developer dictates..
I believe BlackBerry 10 is still going to be †Ñ’ξ gold standard when it comes to productivity and communication on the go...
Αи∂ at that, I can't compromise to using any other mobile device even the raining Android phones because I believe in Blackberry, αи∂ I know that other BB users are more generous to app developers than Android users

WHY I LIKE BLACKBERRY

The blackberry device is a unique business machine.

With my blackberry handheld device, I can engage voice communications both locally and internationally and on any network.

The blackberry data services enable me have access to my email accounts round-the-clock, surf the net continuously, use the blackberry messenger – bbm chat with hundreds of other bbm users locally and internationally.
The blackberry data services also enable me exchange data inform of files, video clips, voice notes, etc that can also be stored on the blackberry device in a retrievable system. The existence of near countless apps on automobiles, books, business, communications, culture, entertainment, information, kiddies programs, religion, sports, travels, weather, etc is a credible reason to stick to blackberry devices.

The blackberry smartphone links me with millions of other social media users the world all over via Facebook, Twitter, etc and interaction is carried on online real-time, with billions of data bytes daily being exchanged.

Blackberry phones are also able to receive systems upgrade as such becomes available thus enabled to reinvent itself.

The blackberry thus combines the functions of a conventional phone with the enablement of a personal computer yet in a handheld device – a revolution truly.

I love my blackberry Bold 5.

What I like about Blackberry?, the question holds several answers as this brand has been close to me for years now...I like the fact that it can ping cos I feel its original to that act, all other pings are fake(Lol)...I like the fact that it can multi-task and sends your pictures to places(twitter, facebook, bbm, whatsapp, etc) as you command, the phone answers to your call and incoming calls with clarity....Oooh, the sound from the blackberry, plug the attached ear-piece or listen through the in-built speaker and feel the vibe of that music, that I like because I like music and it makes me feel the blackberry smartphone likes music too...I thought phones that could do so many things are fragile, until I met a blackberry smartphone and it fell again and again and I picked it up again and again amidst other rugged live routines this blackberry phone has gone through, yet its still as smart as a blackberry phone should be, making "it is what it is" come alive, that is durability and that I like...I remember taking pictures with a blackberry phone at night and the quality was indeed smart, I like the fact that I can take a picture with a phone and actually print it out because I trust the quality of my phone camera, that I like about the blackberry smartphone, less I forget, I liked the way I used a blackberry smartphone to send somebody's CV via e-mail,daily to read downloaded pdf documents, read blogs, news websites...I also like the blackberry smartphone because network providers recognise it with special data bundles, that is why we hear "blackberry complete internet plan", "blackberry social internet plan" etc, this opens the internet better to the populace via the blackberry smartphone and that I like ....The blackberry smartphone is what it is, If it is not blackberry, it isn't blackberry and that is "smart" and that I like....davinci4ice@yahoo.com

For me BlackBerry devices still deliver a lot of value, talk about the build, getting things done quickly and effectively, keyboard, price, the recently introduced BBM video calling and a host of other features, but first I will talk about the flexibility of their keyboards, the keyboards are a perfect match for fast typing and their keyboard app is the best you can find around.
With these new BlackBerry smartphones, you can see your latest notifications and messages without switching or exiting the current app you are using and frankly speaking, I think this is just great. Also, you don’t have to be limited to a phone’s amount of internal memory as Blackberry also gives you a choice of adding an external memory card unlike many other manufacturers.
Forget the fact that BBM is now available to both iphone and Android users, still you can’t compare the BBM software on a blackberry device and the one on other operation systems and you’ll also agree with me that the BlackBerry Messenger is the king of all messaging softwares in the world.
No need to argue oh, BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world and I’m saying this because there is a reason why the White House patronizes them and even their CEO poked at Android's security features recently.
Blackberry has the best email service and it’s synchronization is second to none as you can sync your phone with multiple computers simultaneously! Read my lips SIMULTANEOUSLY
You know we Nigerians like cheap phones with great specs and the only answer to this is Blackberry and the BlackBerry OS 10 has one of the best browsers in the world because it can open Flash contents and opens web pages like a computer would.
Emmmm I know the battery life differs with each BlackBerry device sha, but in general the average battery life of a BlackBerry cell phone is superior to that of an android.
With Blackberry you can Share your screen with anyone you wish through the amazing BBM app.
With Blackberry you can change your battery when its bad unlike most manufacturers who build phones with non-removable batteries, blackberry is an exception to this trend.
The BBM app is also great for developers as API will provide you with access to the social features and functionality of the BlackBerry Messenger, all from within your app and you can easily connect your BlackBerry cell phone to an HDMI display.
Finally if you are an employer and you need to track the activities of your staff then blackberry is your ultimate option.
I’m pray I’m able to convince you sha

I like blackberry because of the red indicator ligh,I love it as much as I ever have. I noticed that iPhones don’t have a tiny little light that flashes when there’s a new message or alert. That’s still the case
(I should note I’ve seen indicator lights on Androids including the Samsung Galaxy which has an app that allows you to pick different color indicator lights for different types of alerts. One color for email and another for text, for example. Pretty cool.)
My physical keyboard is still a dealbreaker. I won’t give up on it and neither have other loyal BlackBerry.mI’ve still never lost a typing race to my iPhone or Android friends, and typo free might I add. I have not met a single person who says they prefer touchscreen keyboards over the physical one I have.

So when BlackBerry, formerly known as Research In Motion, launched its new phones last month it was no surprise that those two key features that keep me in love with my BlackBerry, the indicator light and full keyboard, were still in play.

While my BBM is no longer a reason that keeps me a BlackBerry user I do have a new reason to remain loyal. It was sparked while reading a Forbes post about Instagram not releasing an app for the new BlackBerry. The post is titled “Instagram Delivers A Painful Blow To BlackBerry’s Software Hopes.”

The author argues that without desirable apps like Instagram BlackBerry becomes a lot less desirable. That may be true among potential BlackBerry converts but I doubt it will be a dealbreaker for existing BlackBerry users.

In essence, the second reason for not switching to a smarter Smartphone (just yet) is that I’m not convinced I need one. If you’re still using a Blackberry by choice then you probably don’t care very much about Instagram or any other trendy app because you don’t care for your phone to act like a toy. What I like about Blackberry phones are as follow:
1. It is very handy and portable, when it comes to size.
2. It has the sharpest movie & picture display.
3. A very soft keyboard and that doesn't require much pressure to operate and shortcuts to access other features faster.
4. The User Interface which helps in the following ways; an image viewer for image project resources;
A document management feature that structures files in a consistent fashion;
5. Software which gives the best security when compare with other phones.
6. The processor has a very high speed and very good Battery Life.
Connectivity is excellent, and the WI-Fi is the best, very easy to connect and user friendly.
7. Network is very wide and vast, especially the 3G, which makes it easier for communication.
And finally, it gives the best service in terms of data subscriptions. Whereby, subscriptions is made monthly and not as you use.

What is there not to love about a phone named after a fruit, a type of berry. It could have been raspberry, blueberry or strawberry, but none of these fruits is as all encompassing as the name 'Blackberry". A device intricately designed, yet strong! It's sweet, it's cute, it's also durable and extremely useful.Initially developed and designed in 1996, i love that BIS is available in 91 countries on over 500 mobile service operators and that you can receive your email real time and anywhere. What is more interesting is that even with the existence of the Apple brand, you can be sure that Blackberry is here to stay, offering users different spectacular series with all the options! osaks@yahoo.com

Apart from the fact that Blackberry as become a household name in Nigeria, It Has really Help make Nigerians A Web-Surfing, internet active nation,
Am a ardent user of BB 9790, blackberry bold 6 as popularly known is a great companion nd friend when it comes to multitasking, internet surfing and social media, unlike most other smart phones nd complains about balckberry batteries and all, I happen to be given the worth of my money, the keyboard alone is fun cos of its slickness and silent response when typing, I have laptop but most times I catch more fun in using my BB 9790 for most of my internet works.
What I love the most about blackberry is (1) the cheap services they've been offering users since their acceptance into Nigeria internet browsing market, imaging browsing with just a thousand naira for one full month, the second but not the list is that it has gave me unlimited access to my emails, be it multimedia or textonly messages sent or received....., in short there's no way you can fully explain in words the values blackberry provides and adds to make nigerians lifes easy, but I can bet my life on it that Blackberry has one a very precious place in our hearts and its going to be that way for a long time........

Reasons why I like blackberry include the keyboard is so great, it's easy to use as those on a full size computer keyboard. Secondly, the red light that blinks when there is a new message or missed call. Thirdly, its also a business friendly device which is also multitasking. Fourthly, Internet connectivity is fast even on 2g, couple with the fact that OS10 BlackBerry now supports android app.

The BlackBerry Passport is big –– very BIG –– it’s square AND it has a physical keyboard, which also doubles as a trackpad for scrolling around menus, apps and webpages. And all of that has caused a lot of people to write the handset off as nothing more than a mobile version of a bearded lady, labelling it a freak that’s kind of interesting but hardly convenient in normal, everyday life. But here’s the thing: this sentiment couldn’t be further from the truth.
Measuring in at 128 x 90.3 x 9.3 mm, the BlackBerry Passport, like all good things, is more than a handful. You can’t really use it comfortably with one hand, but so what? I can’t use my Nexus 5 with one hand all that well. Ditto the iPhone 6 Plus. The Passport weighs in at 196g and is heavier than anything the company has ever produced. It is also more premium than anything BlackBerry has turned out in living memory, with a gorgeous metal frame, high-grade polycarbonate backing, pitch-perfect keyboard, and an ultra-high-resolution 4.5in display.
As I see it there are two talking points regarding the Passport’s design: it’s keyboard and the display. The former is a full QWERTY setup arranged over three rows with the space bar housed centrally on the bottom line of keys. BlackBerry says this is the best keyboard it has ever produced, and it really is –– it surpasses the Q10’s setup in everyway. And the main reason for this is because it is A LOT smarter. On top of that it is more fully integrated with BB10 and the overall experience of using the phone.

I’ll admit, ahead of using the BlackBerry Passport I had plenty of reservations about this device. The shape didn’t really appeal to me, and the idea of using a QWERTY keyboard, while always an interesting prospect, struck me as a bit antiquated. I really liked the BlackBerry Q10 and used it as my daily driver for a good six months, but in the end I still ended up going back to Android. The Passport is better than the Q10 because it takes the principles that made it great (an excellent QWERTY combined with a decent OS) and evolves it into a handset that feels like a proper, full-on 2014 flagship – something that can and will (in some instances) replace an iPhone or Android handset.
The design is definitely controversial and it certainly won’t suit all tastes. But that’s OK. If you want an iPhone, chances are you already own one. Ditto for Android. The Passport handles pretty much as you’d expect. It does feel incredibly wide compared to standard-issue handsets from LG, Google, HTC and Apple, and it does take some getting used to… but, AGAIN, so what? You could say the exact same thing about the original Samsung Galaxy Note or the iPhone 6 Plus for that matter.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is to say different folks find different things attractive (just look at Benedict Cumberbatch), so rather than taking my word for it –– even though I do like the way it looks, and find Mr Cumberbatch very handsome –– the best possible route for you, dear reader, is to ask yourself whether you could see yourself using a handset that looks like this? If your the gut answer is no, fine, move along. But if you’re intrigued by its odd proportions and find yourself musing about what it would feel like in your hand, or how its keys work in practice, then I’d advise you to go and check one out in a phone shop because there is a certain je nais sais quois about the Passport that I think A LOT of people will really enjoy.

Thanks Aunty Linda for ur time and ur generosity !
I wish to win one of those !
It will mean a lot to me.
Thank you ma'am !!

I love the gadget ‘blackberry’, it is like my personal assistant (PA) because it does almost everything for me, and makes my work much easier, being a graphic/web designer, I easily transfer my design from my laptop to my Bb and spread it on all social media on my blackberry, this makes it visible to my client and my potential client and easily attach a file, which other design phone cant serve, I use blackberry playbook to view or present a job to my potential clients, as for smartphone, I started from curve2, migrate to bold2, bold5, q5, and last q10, the q10 kills it all, I refer to the Q10 as my (PA) it does almost everything for me, I love my q10 white, but sadly I was robed last week and my phone and playbook was collected at a gun point. Unfortunately have not gotten the financial muscle to buy another Q10 because XMAS is near and I have lots of commitment, but current I fell back to one of old version of blackberry I left at home, because I can’t afford another q10 currently, miss my gadgets soooo much (daretdesigns@gmail.com)

I found myself in a position where I had to make a decision between purchasing a Blackberry phone over another brand. Being very familiar with what this other brand brings to the table, which was basically web browsing, and apps, with phone calls of course.
So after thinking it through I extended my contract with Blackberry and I was not disappointed at all.
I'm bring out the "guns" right now on one captivating thing that has got me coming back for more., The Blackberry has a way of meeting the needs of consumers by giving them what they want, in that, you have the option of a physical keyboard or go for a sleek touch screen. The keys are not your typical QWERTY keyboard -- no no -- it is the best physical keyboard out there. It is what makes the Blackberry Smart Phones so unique.
Keyboards never looked so good!
Many argue that the touch screen phones are the future because they contain no buttons, but many people avoid them for phones like the Blackberry and most of the Palm Smart Phones because they have physical keyboards.
Yes one of the the main reasons why the Blackberry is so great is that it contains the best QWERTY keyboard on any Blackberry device to date. I just don't know how they keep on improving on their phones every year, but they do it.

blackberry is affordable
BB can be rated on the same stand as MTN.people complain, yet they use it.people have a bb,then other phones by the side.
no matter how expensive, app loaded or current other brands might be, it was blackberry that set the standard for them all.everything android phones comeup with, have been in bb one time, inmaybe a small way.
indeed, the ultimate application that made other brands appeal to a large number of people is BBM!

Well, I've been using bb for quite a long time now. Firstly, they have a higher level of security than others, faster link to social sites, most recent operating system. Secondly, I love bb for their unique products with lots of interesting applications, even the recent introduction of the flow features being minimized by fliping the application with your finger to the side. Blackberry is cool, blackberry is outstanding, blackberry is beautiful! Chatshegzyte@gmail.com

For people like me where affordable internet is a luxury, the joy of using a Blackberry phone where I have to spend only N1000 on unlimited data monthly can never be overemphasised.
Have I mentioned its responsive keyboard? its solid rock operating system? I can write long emails and I am currently using the doc app to type my project. I can shop online with it, I can use Facebook, Twitter and Google Talk seamlessly.
Call me old skool, my Blackberry may not have lots of apps on it but It has the relevant one, I may not have an Instagram application but my camera is still badass, people may not line up for it at the stores but given the choice between the popular and the bespoke, I will always go for the latter. What matters most is, my Blackberry does what I need it to do effectively and for its affordable cost, I'd be a fool to complain.
Most importantly, the tiny red light indicator never fails to remind me my family and friends are only a PING away.

Laugh all you want, this comment was written and posted via Blackberry curve7.

Thanks Linda, I started using BB from days of storm1, 2 and I love blackberry phones. You have everything in 1 app so you never need to switch from apps to apps. Blackberry browser is incredibly fast and very smooth, it's just amazing. I also appreciate the BB multi tasking platform is way better than the one from android. I hardly encountered any bugs with the blackberry apps unlike android apps that force close or apps refuse to open. Lastly the call quality of BB is superb. Most of the time the people I speak to cannot tell if I am indoor or outdoor, It is truly amazing. I believe it is the phone quality, because when I speak with people using my other android phones the sound is sometimes garbled or distorted. With millions of Telecoms subscriber, blackberry still have most percentage of the end- users.

Blackberry has the most affordable data plans to be consumed by average citizen.

Hardware wise, its quite handy and smart with its qwerty keyboard.

It is backward compatible. (BB SDK 6.0 downwards, 10.0)

Being a BB app developer, have built various apps which i enjoy doing.

As an end-users, its ease notification and prompt response made it all unique.

Blackberry is the best!!!

Things I like about BlackBerry

1. The efficiency of the messaging system, including emails. (BB) is the best email phone system I know and also the fluidity of the Operating System.
2. The whole screen is one big button on a touch device unlike other companies that still need a home button. The Keyboard is very easy to use with no complications.
3. The Red light indicator button, is something I love so much and is very rare. With it, I don't have to turn my phone on to check if I have a new message. It makes communication easier.
4. Data subscription is feasible, affordable and cost effective.
5. The system doesn't bog or hang with multiple applications open which is as a result of a superb QNX roots in the BB10 OS application management.
6. Browsing is superb, Media Streaming online is excellent. File downloading is easy.
In summary, the basic things I like about my blackberry are; BlackBerry’s e-mail and messaging system, keyboard and indicator light all make the communication process a more efficient one and most importantly the OS is Excellent.

My Blackberry My World
I Love my Blackberry Protect
These are 5 Things about My Blackberry Protect
1. Automatic Backups
I use BlackBerry Protect to automatically back up my data daily. When I turn on the automatic backup feature, BlackBerry Protect backs up my data at the specified frequency when my BlackBerry smartphone is connected to the wireless network and am not using it currently. If my smartphone is turned off or not connected to the wireless network when a scheduled backup is due, BlackBerry Protect backs up my data the next time that my smartphone is turned on and connected.
2. Protecting my Information
If I ever misplace or lose my BlackBerry smartphone, which had happened to me so many times there are several features offered by BlackBerry Protect to help me protect my information. One setting in particular that’s extremely useful is the ability to display a message on my BlackBerry smartphone that can include my contact details in case someone finds it.
3. Finding my BlackBerry smartphone
Recently I couldn’t find my BlackBerry smartphone and thought I might have left it in the bus. Thanks to BlackBerry Protect, I was able to log in to the BlackBerry Protect website and view my BlackBerry smartphone’s current location, which indicated it was in my house somewhere. Then, instead of spending time looking around my house, I used the “make my BlackBerry smartphone ring” feature which helped me find my BlackBerry smartphone (in between the cushions of my living room couch!). isn’t that amzing?
4. Switching my BlackBerry smartphones
BlackBerry Protect makes it easier to switch to a new BlackBerry smartphone. All I need to do is perform a backup using BlackBerry Protect on my current phone, followed by logging into BlackBerry Protect on my new BlackBerry smartphone and selecting the restore data option.
5. Remote Backup
In addition to performing automatic backups on a set schedule, I also have the ability to perform a remote backup. This setting is very useful if I had misplaced my BlackBerry smartphone and a backup hasn’t been made recently. all I needed to do is to visit the BlackBerry Protect website, where I can perform a remote backup that can be followed by a remote security wipe to remove my personal information, in case I cannot find my BlackBerry smartphone using the location features provided.

As you can see, BlackBerry Protect is a great way to manage your BlackBerry smartphone

The app store culture means smartphones can perform thousands of different tasks, but the unique selling point of the BlackBerry has always been email. Both the hardware and software are tailored towards email, which in turn gives it a particular advantage among business users.

10 Things I love About Using my BlackBerry
1. My BlackBerry PIN Number
2. Running the Setup Wizard
3. Using my Thumbs
4. Saving time with AutoText
5. Typing Shortcuts
6. The inbuilt Memory
7. Using my BlackBerry as a Thumb Drive
8. Downloading and Installing the BlackBerry Desktop Software
9. Installing some Essential Software
10. Personalizing my BlackBerry.
Wow Blackberry what can I do without you?
My BlackBerry Messaging can’t be left out
BlackBerry handsets allow me for instant text message communication with other BlackBerry users, with no per-message charge. Messaging works by PIN rather than phone number. And in 2013 BlackBerry made its messaging service available on other manufacturer's handsets as an app. So now I can reach my friends and family with Blackberry App on their Iphones. I love this!

Why I love blackberry... it is a smartphone everybody owns but nobody seems to like, why?
It's click-clack keyboard, is one thing that keeps me glued to my blackberry, making me enjoy most of my conversation, the keyboard is just a dealbreaker.
Another is the red light, am seriously addicted to the Red light, I guess blackberry killed it there not mentioning BBM still feels better on a blackberry than any phone, also BlackBerry is a business phone which I call get-things-done phone. It's not designed to run flashy applications, for playing games or for uploading pictures to Facebook and Twitter. It started out a business-minded device, and RIM has continued to market it as a business-friendly device, although recent ads have pitched it as a leisure phone for young multitaskers as well.In essence, my reason for not switching to a smarter Smartphone (just yet) is that I’m not convinced I need one. If you’re still using a Blackberry by choice then you probably don’t care very much about Instagram or any other trendy app because you don’t care for your phone to act like a toy. #teamBlackberry

Actually, if it is your first time to use a Blackberry... well... to be honest its a bit hard to setup all that data subscription BIS, BES etc... But if you get used to it you will realize how powerful the device is really.

I love my Blackberry Q10 because I can receive my emails, reply and send. Open my facebook and twitter accounts. Create, edit my work files using Documents To Go.

The BlackBerry is the get-things-done phone.

It's not designed to run flashy applications, for playing games or for uploading pictures to Facebook and Twitter. It started out a business-minded device, and RIM has continued to market it as a business-friendly device, although recent ads have pitched it as a leisure phone for young multitaskers as well.
Part of the allure is that the BlackBerry is known for being secure. It encrypts messages, which makes business owners more comfortable giving the phones to their employees, who may share sensitive documents and e-mails over the phones.

This issue came into focus 3 Years ago as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia threatened to stop BlackBerry service for this very reason: because they wanted to get inside private messages on the phones and couldn't.

Other smartphone operating systems, including iOS 4 from Apple, are trying to cater more to privacy-minded business clients, but overall they've been more focused on the consumer experience.

"See someone typing away furiously on a Blackberry? They're probably sending a top-secret e-mail,"........ "See someone intently focused on an iPhone? They're probably playing with the Bubblewrap or Lightsaber Unleashed apps. Regardless of what a Blackberry user is really doing, the phone itself just seems so much more straight-laced and serious than the iPhone."

Well, consider getting a Blackberry!

Seriously what wld the world be like without bbm? When I say bbm I mean blackberry messenger.. itz soo amazing dat d android folks had 2 get a taste of it, d fastest, safest, most interesting instant messenger dat accords u all d privacy u need.. oh well asides dat, blackberry is d real deal as it provides d most economical access to mobile data, unlike d android counterparts dat can make it soo expensive to use a fone.. every day, every moment applications are updating consuming data, burning money! 4 what? With my blackberry Q5, I enjoy 3G for just 1k? Yes 1K, nd I bet u can't get dat offer on any android device, nd den my OS is insane, makes me wana cry when I realise all I can do with my super gadget, my pictures are off d hook, makes me even look prettier *winks* battery life is amazing, with all d work I do with dis fone, I can beat my chest nd say d battery life is superb, I totally disagree with wah dey say abt BlackBerry battery, I am a living witness of d amazing battery life.. nd yes I have compared it to d android which doesn't even give u an option of changing 2 a lower network and drains itself..*tears* but my BlackBerry allows me 2 switch from 2G to 3G and even 4G? Hehe! And with my BlackBerry I have no fears of some hackers like d iphone counterparts lol.. I can go on and on, my reasons are countless linda! But I wld stop here.. I love blackberry, am a patriotic citizen of d BlackBerry nation..and it wld be an honour 2 upgrade to d BlackBerry passport.. chuchukolyz@gmail.com

Blackberry is unique. The security features of the phone is definitely one that other phones are trying to beat.

In terms of ease of use, the trademark keypad is one of its kind. Ergonomic and easy to work with without hassles. Even their touchscreen phones are highly durable and can compete with the best brands in the market. Though, their previous trackpad phones might have some little sliding issues over several years of use, their new design phones have corrected and advanced this anomaly.

The physical QWERTY keyboard is what I really like about the blackberry, because most smartphones are touchscreen and doesn't make my typing fast and smooth!

Dear Blackberry,

My name is Julia and am a Blackberry freak! My 1st blackberry was Bold 1, I got it early 2009 for 82k. I love the tracking ball and since it was a new invention, it was fun scrolling all through each app. I got Bold 2 for 115k from SLOT Ikeja in DEC. 2009, (I still have my receipt) I love the fact that it was cute and more feminine and the camera was distinct. It was an improvement on the trackball that I love as it was not prone to be faulty. Then I got the BB Torch (Black) Bigger screen, a slide & touch effect. I had issue with the flex so I traded it out after repair to buy another BB Torch in White this time because I liked it. My call log was more visible, I could see most of my picture display in a view, Amazing! As that was the emerging technology we embrace then. Thanks to Blackberry!
At the point I thought I was done with blackberry, here comes BOLD 5 in 2011, the best phone ever made. I bought the black. It was all I wanted. I could push 3 email accounts conveniently, I had 16GB memory card slot in it for more space for my professional pictures and files. Colourful touchscreen display, Camera was superb for me then at 5mega pixel. I love I love I love the phone and CHATTING was easy. My office was practically on my phone then it got stolen. I got a BOLD 2(White) for my mum afterwards and my whole family switched to Blackberry. My brother got the BB Torch.
I got the Q5 when it came out and I knew I missed my BOLD 5 as I wanted more from Blackberry, I got a Z10, and it fell into the toilet while chatting after 3weeks of purchase. WOOW!!! The Blackberry 10 was just the right technology we’ve been waiting for from phones.
Finally, Am using a Z30, I love the Camera, the screen, the apps, my picture display, the Picture password(amazing), the Bedside mode(waoh!). Its fallen several times and my screen all cracked and broken. I just can’t give up on Blackberry; it has made life simple, easy and amazing. Am thinking of getting the Blackberry passport for Christmas, I will be so glad to have it for free from “Santa Blackberry”
Pleaseeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! Give MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
I believe I deserve it after all. Thanks to Blackberry for being a wonderful companion always and a Positive thanks for choosing me for the Blackberry Passport giveway.

Yours,
Little me…

Got my first blackberry in January 2011, at that time it was a major craze for phone lovers and big people. Blackberry is a mobile smart device that combines a number of functions including emails, web browsing, text messaging, schedule management, and mobile phone into one portable handset, good for multitasking. The BlackBerry was developed by Research in Motion and is considered one of the leaders in the smart device industry. All and sundry use blackberry. its reduced data consumption rates makes it loveable by all. Best phone also for android lovers because it can share its data through WiFi. mchinazor@yahoo.com

Why I like Blackberry? I don't just like my Blackberry, I love my blackberry because of its ability to compress the data I receive while surfing the internet, thereby making it very cost effective and affordable to subscribe with my service provider. I also enjoy using the switch application function, running different applications at a time. Am using a bold 6 and I love that it has both touch and keypad it also has a sleek and classy look that works for me in every environment eg. Work and social environs. The picture quality is wonderful and I won't forget the blackberry world where I find very useful applications that make my user experience great and exceptionally satisfactory.

The power to do anything is in your hands when it comes to blackberry. From productivity, social networking, fast connectivity (LTE, HSDPA, 3G, BLUETOOTH, NFC etc) on the go and many more, you will definitely stand out from the crowd.

The browser is is very fast, I think I'm right in saying it's the best HTML5 compliant browser. It's really enjoyable

The touchscreen just works perfect. No lag, no messing around, no compensation required from me and no double swiping because the system didn't detect your first swipe. It's all perfect.

Here are four more:

There's a great battery life to be had from the 3,450mAh beast stuck in the back of the Passport. Seriously, if you don't want your productivity hampered by the need to charge a smartphone, then BlackBerry has done you a favour here. longevity is just the word.

Big brain

The 3GB (count 'em) of RAM means that multitasking is handled with business-like efficiency.

Even the layout has a designated homescreen for tiled shortcuts of whichever apps you happen to be running.

There's no lag when it comes to switching either because BlackBerry's plumped for a Snapdragon 801 processor.

Fair and square

The Passport's 4.5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 screen displays 60 characters across instead of 40. And for websites, emails and office documents, I'm enjoying all that extra width.

The 1,440 x 1,400 resolution is crisp and detailed, and I don't need to constantly zoom in and out to work my way around a document.

Even better, a double-tap on BlackBerry's keyboard lets me scroll up or down the page without obscuring any of the screen.

The extra screen size is useful
Scrubbed-up software

There are also some useful software upgrades working away underneath the black and silver chassis – not least the BlackBerry Hub, which is a substantial plus for me.

Grouping all notifications together in a single place and giving you the ability to dive in and out of them rapidly is a bit of a USP for BlackBerry, and a productivity godsend when you're compiling messages from multiple work accounts. a_uloko@yahoo.com

I like blackberry because
1)The BB 10 has a robust operating system meaning it runs an application that has different functionalities.
2)Generally,I love blackberry's concept of auto suggestion that relates with one's self.It means that it learns the owner of the phone even when you are speaking pidgin or a language that isn't English, you don't have to save a word for it to crop up again.
3)Blackberry has a strong mobile security that cant be hacked into like other phones.Take for instance Angela Merkel cell phone that was hacked into.

Sometime last year ending, I upgraded to a new phone, and yes, it was a blackberry bold 5 which I am still using up till this moment. I happen to like it so much due to the full physical keyboard and a touchscreen, the e-mail system, the red indicator light and the "real" BBM. Oh yeah..While my BBM is no longer a reason that keeps me a BlackBerry user as it has been assigned to Androids and iPhones, my physical keyboard on my phone still remains enough reason to remain loyal. My physical keyboard is still a dealbreaker and I won’t give up on it. I have not met a single person who says they prefer touchscreen keyboards over the physical one I have.

In essence, my final reason for not switching to a smarter Smartphone (just yet) is that I’m not convinced I need one. If you’re still using a Blackberry by choice then you probably don’t care very much about Instagram or any other trendy app because you don’t care for your phone to act like a toy. You like your phone for its…well, communication features.

I'm not too good with Internet terms and might not really know the full meaning of Os,ios,Cto but one thing I know for sure is that I'm positively addicted to my blackberry phone and regard it as a friend in need and indeed. Since I've had one in my possession, life's become interesting. Lol

The build and design of blackberry
Whether you are looking at the QWERTY-laden Q series or the
touchscreen Z series, one thing you can be assured of is rock-
solid design and build quality.
Blackberry's new Z3 smartphone is displayed during its launch in
Jakarta. Photo: Reuters/Beawiharta
Messaging, mail and social networks
Android might be a wiz at handling social networks and e-mail,
but it is still not a patch on BlackBerry, whose hub integrates all
your messages from social networks and your mails in one screen
that is only a swipe away from your home screen. The Facebook
and Twitter apps are made by BlackBerry and work very smoothly,
and the notification system is effective too.
Security
Terrified of losing the data on your device or of malware? A BB
remains one of the most secure platforms around. Their CEO even
took a poke at Android's security features recently.
Visitors try the newly launched BlackBerry smartphones Z3
"Jakarta Edition" in Jakarta. Photo: AFP / Adek Berry
Web browsing
Not too many people seem to know this, but the browser on
BlackBerry OS 10 is one of the best around in mobile devices. No
worrying about Flash compatibility and the like. You will more
often than not end up getting Web pages just the way you see them
on your desktop.
Battery life
Want a reasonably powerful smartphone that can comfortably get
through a day of use with social networks and mail buzzing
merrily? All the devices in the BlackBerry Q and Z series will
deliver that.
…and the apps too!
Yes, BlackBerry was lagging behind the competition in the app
game initially, but with recent updates, BlackBerry 10 OS devices
(the Q and Z series) can run most Android apps, provided you can
get the APK files for them (not a very difficult task, really). Round
that off with the fact that the next update of the OS will also give
you access to Amazon's well-regulated Android app store and you
can confidently assert that BlackBerry is indeed bridging the app
gap between it and other platforms.BlackBerry reinforced that message during a July occasion in NYC where it showed off new safety features for enterprise clientele. BlackBerry showed us a healthcare app, utilised by oncologists to view patient data and show which cells are infected, how the remedy is progressing, and so on. The patient’s data did indeed appear nice on the four.five-inch square show, despite the fact that it would probably appear even nicer on a seven-inch tablet’s show.
Even though we recently saw the BlackBerry Passport in particular person, we weren't permitted to touch it. In August, U.K. retailer Car phone Warehouse shot a hands-on video of the Passport. The video shows off the physical QWERTY keyboard and the new scrolling function, which lets you use the keyboard as a touch pad, too. BlackBerry’s voice assistant is talked about, but we don’t get to see it in action or hear its voice.
We not too long ago saw the Passport in person at an event in NYC and despite the fact that it is much wider across than most other alphabets, it looks relatively thin and the QWERTY keyboard doesn't take up as a lot space as you’d expect. As such, the device appears no taller than numerous other massive smartphones. We have been not permitted to hold the device, so we can not say something about the construct good quality, the back of the device, the weight, or how it feels in the hand just however. From what we saw, it looks high-finish and sturdy, but so extremely square with no curves to be observed. You can see for oneself in the photo gallery at the best of this post.

4.) Safety - I feel safe using Blackberry devices and not afraid of giving out my information.

I love the red light indicator so much. I noted in my last phone that iPhones don’t have a tiny little light that flashes when there’s a new message or alert. That’s still the case. And as i put it, “That’s what I miss most about my BlackBerry. Now I have to turn my phone on to check if I have new messages.”

One of the features that drives me crazy about blackberry phones is their ability to use both wireless and data plans as in Z10,Q5,Q10 etc

Aside that other phones have benefitted from the invention of blackberry due to the introduction of blackberry messenger. This alone makes blackberry unique that they are willing to share.

I love blackberry phones because of the keyboard;it helps me type very well and fast and no matter how big a person's fingers are,it doesn't hinder such person from typing. I also love the message indicator that shows red when a message comes in or when I have a missed call, infact whenever i see the red light;its like my connection to the world. Other phones also have their way of indication but none beats the blackberry style. I also love its fast internet access and most of all,its easy to use. babymaswthrt@yahoo.com

What I love about blackberry device

1st let me start buy saying d durability of d phone is 100% sophisticated, easy to use, it's has a very Good TAT, works perfectly inline with. A laptop, the Camera shapness and Range is perfect.

For Example the The BlackBerry Q10 boasts a superb physical keyboard, the latest BlackBerry OS (version 10.2), smooth performance, and long battery life

It offers a larger and spacious QWERTY
It builds on the greatness of past BlackBerry messaging machines, yet blends this with modern smartphone software powerful enough to run multiple apps at once without skipping a beat.
On the left side you'll find a Micro-USB port plus a Micro-HDMI connection to output video to TVs. Running along the right edge is a thin combo volume rocker and Play/Pause key that doubles as a way to activate the Q10's voice command feature

To cut it all short, I love and short notes goes to d blackberry Q10......

I like BlackBerry because BlackBerry devices make it easy to capture those spontaneous moments and take them with you wherever you go. Take stunning pictures using the camera on your BlackBerry® smartphone, with features like digital zoom, built-in flash, autofocus and up to 8 MP1. You can also record standard and HD2 video clips, and instantly share them via email, BBM™, Bluetooth® or BlackBerry® Tag3 with NFC technology. With Time Shift mode on BlackBerry 10 smartphones, you can pinpoint and adjust exact moments of your picture to create the perfect shot. Weave those moments together with BlackBerry® Story Maker to create a movie in just a couple of swipes. On top of every BlackBerry, there's a little sliver of a red light, and it blinks at you when a new message or call comes in. People get seriously addicted to that light, You put a blinking red light on a device, and when that light blinks, you jump. For me, really, it's my connection to my people. And second, it's my connection to the world in terms of news and everything. It's one of those things that always calls you back to your BlackBerry. Of course, other phones have ways of alerting people to new messages, too, but none has the same feel as that BlackBerry light. Regardless of what a Blackberry user is really doing, the phone itself just seems so much more straight-laced and serious than the iPhone. Businesspeople also say BlackBerrys are just good for productivity. Partly it's the keyboard. Partly is a range of shortcuts. But this no-frills phone has hooked many people in the bushiness world. I just loved [it]. Applications, commonly called apps, are one of the more popular features of a Blackberry. Designers create apps designed for both business and personal use. Apps such as Twitter and Facebook allow employees to post updates about the business or maintain communication with clients using the app to connect to the social network platform. You can also download apps that allow you to manage your files, translate different languages, access saved emails and faxes, organize a calendar, or use a number of different online messaging services.
By downloading apps for your employees, you can rest assured that every employee has access to the important applications needed for business. If you want to create a specialized application for your business, Blackberry teams up with designers to help create an app that has everything you need. Once the application is created and downloaded, you can give a quick tutorial to employees on how to access and use the app. You can have an app that allows employees to track, record, and share business orders, files, financial information, charts, and any other information necessary for daily business operations. By combining your specialized application with those already available for the Blackberry, your company will not only improve business communications with each other and clients, but they'll have instant access to important documents, files, and information and to crown it all it saves money with low subscription to visit any site of your choice. I LOVE BLACKBERRY!!!

Why i love my blackberry!!!!
My Great Keyboard- my BlackBerry keyboard is pretty flexible and of great help for fast texting.my keyboards feel way better than touch type. I totally multi task i can text n drive.lol.side eye**

Easy Charging – My BlackBerry phone uses a Micro-USB connector for charging and synchronization.

International Roaming – Because BlackBerry supports international carriers, international roaming is not an issue.
Unlimited Wi-Fi Calling

Expandable Memory – Fit in as many gigabytes as i want! With flexible memory card options, i don’t have to be limited to phone sets that have a set amount of internal memory.

Smooth Multitasking – Oh yes. I can browse and answer messages at the same time. Multi-tasking is smooth and flexible in the Blackberry.
BlackBerry Messenger – Before WhatsApp, Viber, and all the other new messaging applications arrived the BlackBerry Messenger was and is still my king.
My Security – There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile device i ve used.
My Email – none of blackberry s competitors have been able to match the effectiveness of Blackberry’s distinguished email system.i just love it.

Cool Synchronization – No need for time consuming software’s. I Synch my phone with multiple computers simultaneously!

Multiple Browsers – All browsers work flawlessly on my BlackBerry. It is not limited to a specific browser type.

Synchronizes with my iTunes – Very generous! While my iPhone doesn’t synchronize with any other music software, my BlackBerry can synch with iTunes and any other mobile music management software.

Battery Life – Even though battery life differs with each specific BlackBerry phone, my Blackberry q10 lasts longer than any other device i ve used.

Sling – i Watch TV on the go by turning my BlackBerry into a TV with slingbox.

I can Screen Share – I Share my screen with anyone i wish through the BBM app.

My Removable Battery – Knowing that batteries go bad over time, I do not understand why some cell phone manufacturers build phones with non-removable batteries. Gladly, this is not the case with my BlackBerry.

My BBM Social – the BBM Social Platform API will provide me with access to the social features and functionality of the BlackBerry Messenger, all from within my app.

Productivity – my BlackBerry helps me get things done quickly and effectively.
My email address is ;izzzo11@hotmail.com

Blackberry has been in the T&T market for 8 years and possess approximately 41% market share. Blackberry’s regional director Sean Killen recognized that they had a great customer base in the T&T market and couldn't give customers what they needed and he said “loyal customers deserve the latest technology and hardware, the most modern and innovative navigation systems in a Smartphone. WiFi Calling – Blackberry now has the wifi calling feature in which you can call people from your BBM contact list free of charge. This allows users to save minutes and prevents them from going over month after month. This gives customers the incentive to purchase the BlackBerry. The BlackBerry keyboard – many people stay on their BlackBerry for one simple reason, the keyboard. This remains the easiest, fastest keyboard to use for email and text users and especially BBM.
BBM Chat – this is one feature that BlackBerry is famous for. This puts the BlackBerry in a unique position because so many customers choose the BlackBerry because this is a free way of communicating. This is actually more popular than WhatsApp.
And that red light indicator is everything I like it as much as I can imagine no other phone has that red light that shows an alert......

lets see....what i like about blackberryphones

BB phones are portable to behold.they have such appealing forms and shapes.
i love its ability to multitask at almost the same time.
the network reception is wonderful. first time i used a bold5,i experience for thefirst time, the sincere joy of fast downloads.
the fact that your subscription is unlimited and one doesnt have to worry about exhausting data is beautiful.
the camera quality also is quite amazing.it took me a long time to give my young brother my bold 2 just because of the camera clarity.people always asked 'are you serious?you took this pic with your bold2?' hehe
blackberry is affordable
BB can be rated on the same stand as MTN.people complain, yet they use it.people have a bb,then other phones by the side.
no matter how expensive, app loaded or current other brands might be, it was blackberry that set the standard for them all.everything android phones comeup with, have been in bb one time, inmaybe a small way.
indeed, the ultimate application that made other brands appeal to a large number of people is BBM!

To me BlackBerry world’s best “fun-sized” smartphone that wasn’t made by Apple. What is a “fun-sized” smartphone and why isTimelisting them? Well with the trend toward bigger devices, many people with small hands might be feeling left out of the fun because they still want a device that measures in at 4.3 inches or fewer. And since many people assume that the only smartphone that measures in at 4.3 inches or less these days is the iPhone 5s,Timehas decided to exclude it in its list of the top smaller smartphones.
So what has the blackberry done to best the competition in this category? Let’s letTime tell the story.
“The best of the tiny bunch, BlackBerry is the perfect undersized mobile device, with a focus on productivity over chart-bursting specs or millions of apps,” the publication writes. “Yes, your friend might tease you with a few BlackBerry-based barbs, but let him laugh as he taps away at his Galaxy Mega 6.3. Chances are that giant phablet is compensating for a secret of his own.” i feel nobody does it better than blackberry from the cheap internet bundle to the flexibility and class. All hail bb a.odusola@gmail.com

I must say I really truly love this twist. Thanks Blackberry!
That aside.
I love my Blackberry! It is my passport to the world and beyond. Even though I use the older 9630 tour, it still does so much for me. This goes on to show how powerful Blackberry is, no matter the model, no matter the number.
My Blackberry allows me to keep in touch first and foremost with family n loved ones.
The ability to multi-task also reduces my workload and increases my efficiency immensely. As a student, I do my research on my Blackberry and this puts me far ahead of my colleagues.
Most of all, if you work hard, you play hard. Lol. Blackberry allows me to do this when I play their very entertainin and educative games, and I take beatiful pics while havin fun.

I like blackberry phones because they are the best phones one can have.

Below are some reasons I will stick to BB anytime anyday :

Incredible battery life.

nice form factor / good feel
great keyboard

good messaging product (BBM)
non-touchscreen input (more precise, keeps screen clean)

low cost, low data usage
familiarity (to people who have used BlackBerry for work)

push-based notification

great email functionality

more professional appearance, brand recognition
easily unlocked from carrier (versus iPhone)
good for travelling (some have dual CDMA/GSM radios and carrier plans)

robustness / durability

better reception / call quality (some models)
security

The blinky light. You don't have to keep turning on your phone to see if you have messages. The Blinky light does all the work.

Multi Tasking - Its fairly easy to bounce between typing an email, check your calendar, send a BBM, look at your browser, check a map. I've used this more often than not, and not even realized it.

The Keyboard - Blackberry's best feature. Its very easy and quick to type on this keyboard.

Data Compression - the Blackberry compresses the data you use. I have a 500 mb plan, and use only about 50mb a month.

the Music player - Its surprisingly decent! I don't even miss my ipod.

My smartphone of choice is a BlackBerry!! BlackBerry’s devices have always been productivity masterpieces. Blackberry is a tried and true device. It is also very solid. Blackberry is all about efficiency.
I love my Blackberry because I can receive my emails, reply and send. Open my Facebook and Twitter accounts. Create and edit my work files using Documents to Go.
At the heart of this productivity is the BlackBerry Hub, a central hub with all your emails, texts, etc. The BlackBerry Hub is like my central inbox. The touch screen just works. No lag, no messing around.
I love my blackberry so much because it has so many cool features.
The blackberry is like a mobile computer. Because of its features the blackberry is a perfect phone for business.
I really love my blackberry Z10 though my baby recently smashed it so it's not working for now. Please pick me I would love to have this phone. Thank you..!!
I love BlackBerry!

The Blackberry 10 operating system doesn't use "Back" buttons for multitasking. Instead, the Flow feature lets you transition between applications by using your finger to flip them to the side. The Peek feature lets you look briefly at your messages and notifications without having to exit your application and open the Hub.
BlackBerry Hub
BlackBerry phones benefit from a single inbox,
called the BlackBerry Hub, which consolidates
messages from all of your email accounts with
instant messages, and social networking updates.
It also handles your phone calls, voicemails, text messages and messages from the redesigned
BlackBerry Messenger. The program offers the ability to peek at messages and has context-
sensitive tools to help you handle all incoming
traffic.

I like the fact that there is tremendous improvement on performance on every new product launched by blackberry.the phone designs are simply, awesomely beautiful and stunning. BlackBerry has the video calling feature on its BBM application. BlackBerry is the only phone with optional physical keypad devices available. The BB10 operating system is extremely easy to use, with its easy swipe gesture.

Since i started using Blackberry i had no reason of whatsoever to move/try an android/window device ever... started with BB Tour, BB Bold 5 and now BB Q10. These are amazing devices and am loving it.

okay...What i like most about blackberry is that its a unique phone, easy to maintain, and make its easier to connect with friends through BBM which is the first company in Nigeria to do so, which makes it different from others phones. Blackberry has been my best phone since 2010 and am always lucky because have never had issues with it before...so i guess with the blackberry passport in my possession i will experience more of blackberry world# Now we know there are some many brand of phones competing with blackberry products, but to be candid if its not blackberry its can never be blackberry..#princessfelicia24@yahoo.com#

Hi Linda, I love the BlackBerry Passport primarily because of the app integration with the Amazon App Store thereby increasing the selection of productivity tools exponentially. The keyboard and the touch sensitivity built therein is a fantastic option also. Screw T-mobile for unilaterally deciding not to carry blackberry phones anymore, the brand is still respected with a cult like following and I want mine. From your biggest fan in Chicago. Linda is in the high time you create a LindaIkeji app and how about launching it first on BlackBerry. cheers

What I like about Blackberry is that it is user friendly, that both new and old users of cell phones will not find it hard to use.
The simplicity of the phone from the keypad that makes it looks like your using the normal keyboard on the computer to the size that fits ones hand well.

I like it cause its easy to use

I hope I win.

Thanks

Hmmm Blackberry... How do I begin to describe my love for you? I remember my first BB it was the Blackberry Tour. My best feature about Blackberry or BB as it is fondly called is the Memo in this smartphone. I have gone far and wide from Nokia to Samsung and I still cannot find a smartphone whose memo suits me like that of the BB. I love the fact that you can move all your information from one BB to another BB, all you need is your blackberry ID username and password.
I might not know all the technical features of the Blackberry but I know that in terms of ease of use, Blackberry is the best.
From the Curve to the Passport, once you go BLACKBERRY you can never go back.

P.S: I can’t wait to move all my information to my new Blackberry Passport.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT BLACKBERRY. >Have used alot of brands of phones but I keep coming back to Blackberry. It's not that I didn't like those phones,I just think Blackberry does what it should as a smartphone. I love their stylish sleek look(design),blackberry has best in-class QWERTY keyboard also with or without the QWERTY keyboard its very easy to operate for example if you have an email and
you need to type fast, you need to have that keyboard. Excellent battery last long,Gorgeous display, also great
Camera. be it 2 MP, 5 MP ,8 MP or even 1.3megal pixel in BlackBerry pearl 8100 which I used way! back. 5 mega pixel camera in an average blackberry phone is so better than 8mega pixel camera in samsung and the so called "android" people spend a lot of money on. Blackberry phones are very affordable for all the great functions you get and lastly how can I forget how strong their phones are.mine falls almost everyday *smile*may be because am not really carefull and always rushing to work but yet its stil the same way I bought it no fault no complains. No need for long story joor blackberry na correct phone. Chidelacreme@yahoo.com

BlackBerry! The name is the first element I love so much. It sounds more unique amongst other brand names.

Just like blackberries are rich in vitamins, likewise is BlackBerry packed with awesome and exclusive features, which other brands mimic today. The use of special servers linking the phone and the email system is one feature that makes BlackBerry stands out. This makes the BlackBerry device perform faster and better than other brands.

BlackBerry security gives its users a sense of trust. It hasn't failed me yet and it won't. I love BlackBerry because of it's security framework.

BlackBerry is FAST.
BlackBerry is RELIABLE.
BlackBerry is ROBUST.
BlackBerry is SECURED.

I LOVE BLACKBERRY...

And they are like what phone is that? Although it's a blackberry, the logo is hidden which makes it unique. The blackberry is awesome for personal and corporate use. Futhermore, its has a good fare for the amount of data use compared to iPhone or other smart phones. But what I love most about the blackberry is the BBM which I can say is the heart of a blackberry phone communication feature. BBM chat facility is fast simple, and connects you to all blackberry and android phone users.in fact it connects to everyone at the same time with a very high speed.one other advantage is how the phone compresses data usage. In addition to the memory capacity. In a nutshell the blackberry has all the necessary features anyone can imagine
It contains a good camera( no need to carry bulky extra camera),excellent storage facility hence no need for a computer since all your files can be written and stored on the phone and lastly the bbm..so tell me who needs a phone, a camera and laptop when I can have everything on my blackberry.. blackberry is awesome. BlackBerry phones are for one handed use,,,hmmm with that little light that blinked either red or green as your settings be when ever message arrived or let say a chat we stop checking our phones constant. I can say it comes with a nice screen and a long battery life, good for media, makes ordinary tasks more exciting with a brilliant display on the screen. edehe_cu@yahoo.com

Security – There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world. There is a reason why the White House uses them and does not allow the President to switch even though he insist on ditching his Blackberry.Blackberry rocks
