Because i do a lot of emailing on the go, and chatting too with my phone; for me, the keyboard of a phone could be a deal breaker. But Blackberry has never disappointed, their stylish, adaptable keyboard with easy shortcuts for swift typing got me upgrading from one BB to another. Thats what i love about BB. And i can't wait to try the passport!

I will not just write on what i like blackberry Phones. But in few headlines, i will write why i can’t stop using a blackberry.
1. The keyboard- I got a Driod phone earlier this year, Literally I lost some toasters because of typo error.
I would only realise it when the person suddenly stop chatting and i will be forced to read my chat. This happened not once, or twice.
Sending mail is a norm for my type of job and having an on the go device is unavoidable.
With my blackberry, I noticed that before a mail is sent, the auto-correct reads through all your text and suggest words when it gets to an unfamiliar word, reason I call my BlackBerry my personal assistant.
The keyboard's feel is very crisp and certain when you press keys, that keyboard lovers will be pleased with the feel and responsiveness and also the keys are quite readable.
2. Design - SCREEN!!!! Can any Driod or iPhone beat blackberry?
NO. But if you want to argue the fact that blackberry is the best amongst all in terms of hardware (PHONE SCREEN etc), First check the screen of the next iPhone or Driod user close to you. Even in rare cases of blackberry broken screens, its doesn’t shatters in pieces like iPhone and Samsung. Black berry is not just cool and sexy, its strong and handy.
3. Software/Bundle Data - If you have not used a Driod phone, You may not understand why this headline is necessary. Blackberry bundle plan made life easy. Most people have driod phones for fancy while they use their blackberry for their day to day activities.

Why I love blackberry phones?,actually I don't!!.
The first phone I ever bought with my money didn't last up to 24hrs,that was a blackberry phone, the screen broke!!, Sat on it mistakenly. I bought that phone with my hard saved money.I couldn't even fix it because I didn't have the money to fix it.that was years back and I swore then NEVER to purchase a phone with my money and NEVER to use a blackberry phone!..

I have used a blackberry phone from the year 2010, till my present one in 2014. I started with a curve2, and i recall the hype at the time. Even at that time, a bb curve2 was a status phone, then i moved to a bold 2, bold 4, BB touch, Bold 6, bold 5 and now a q10.
Please find below the distinctive features of Blackberry in my opinion.
1) First thing i fancied about the blackberry is the convenience it accorded me in accessing my email, social networks and the exclusive bbm chat. Infact brought and kept my contacts close. As they upgraded, it even got better.
2)The Bb10, works very well with the iphone, andriod etc, and you can multi-taks easily. I love that i can switch applications and do a lot at the same time.
3)I also like how it displays incoming messages, emails or chats on the home screen or on the current page without making me open them and how i can reply without opening them still.
4)I love the way it arranges all the activities on the phone on something called the "blackberry hub", so all i need to do is swipe to the left to view my emails, bbm chats, whatsap chats, facebook activities, twitter activities etc.
5)Blackberry phones generally have good and fast internet connections whether you are using a wifi or you are using a mobile network, and the best part is how cheap it is. With 1k or 1k5, i have full access to the internet to browse and access all my social networks as well as chat, ping and receive emails. That is just too good.
6)Did i forget to mention that even in lock screen mood, you can view your activities on your phone? ok i just mentioned that.
7)The storage capacity for blackberry phones is usually large enough to contain alot of data. Bold5 had a storage capacity of 8gb, but the bb10 series even got better by making a double of the figure which gives you 16gbs. This is excluding the SDcard or memory card o.
8)You can find your lost or missing bb fone with a software called "blackberry protect" wow!
9)Blackberry phones run smoothly. You can open different apps and games at a time and multi-task, it doesnt affect the smooth running of the phone. And the newer models rarely even freeze.
10)lastly, when you upgrade to a newer model, you can still go with all your contacts: email, bbm etc. As soon as you sign in with your blackberry id, you get everything back. So with a blacberry phone, your contacts are safe!Nothing gets losts.

I am using a normal phone now but it is already messing up and I am not buoyant enough to change it yet. I used a blackberry before this present one, but unfortunately it was stolen. First of all, using a blackberry is very economical. It is also very easy to use as the qwerty keys make typing more efficient without annoying mistakes.Also accessing my email will be easier as I find it difficult opening my mail on my present phone. Assuming you're actually looking for some feedback, here's my take:
Legacy OS devices (Curve 9300, Torch 9800, 9810 9850, 9860, Bold 9790, 9900, 9930) and others....
- This OS is nearing the end of it's useful life span. I say this because it was designed to run on slower CPU units,
and although it has come a very long way, is quite stable, and has many useful apps....it will eventually run its course
and become history....kind of like iOS.
I am a Law Student, I cannot stress how important the Blackberry Smartphone has impacted on my academic & social life. The Bbm feature enables my getting latest info from coursemates at the earliest possible time. The limitless email hub ensures I'm always connected with correspondence. The native browser itself is a clincher, it's fast and itsresponsive approach has always never failed in my online research and surfing. In a developing country like ours, the blackberry is indeed a game-changer.
No ambiguity....Uniqueness, Simplicity and Creativity....Those are d qualities of BlackBerry and above all BlackBerry is user friendly even my Grandma has one....Much Love for BlackBerry.......
I got my first blackberry 2010 as a graduation gift to myself, it was a 9330. Before then i had a nokia e71 but i wasn't prepared for this whole new experience...
For the first time had complete access to the internet without hving to use any cheat or software, i could download files straight to my and extremely fast speed. I was amazed at the speed at which web pages loaded especially with 3G. I got introduced to the world of social media apps like twitter and facebook, i got introduced to instant notifications nd was able to keep in touch with friends over social media, Not to mention the exclusive blackberry messenger and all its securities. For the first time i had direct access to my mails and got instant notifications on each new mails received. Not to mention the camera and how the phone was integrated to share pictures across social media platforms. I still use a blackberry phone today and this relationship is not ending anytime soon..

I like mostly my BBq10 as it has a physical, flattened keyboard like a hybrid setup which I'll also like to enjoy in d latest BBpasport, u cannot just use them one handed,(u won try), Internet download off the edge( within seconds) BB10 has a great outdoor visibility, with my current q10 I can chat all I want outdoors, BlackBerry passport I see as d updated version of the q10 which I will luv to have in terms of long life battery,better camera, Robust build, keypad more like a touchpad etc.. I just like blackberry phone because browsing on it is cos effective. It helps me coordinates and manages my expenses for the month with ease. Having subscribed for the month, I won't bother struggling and thinking of how to get extra money to buy more date. Since I lost my blackberry phone, I have not been moved to go for android phones because of its high rate charge in data.

I love Blackberry because of that red indicator light. I love it as much as I ever have. Secondly, the rear camera of BB is quite a treat to use, and should leave the closet photographer inside you quite intrigued. We were pretty happy with the clicks, especially the ones in low exposure. Lastly, hmmmmm BB gives you the platform that enables access to emails, messages, files etc. from your Passport to a PC, Mac or a tablet. You just need a Blend platform for the respective OS - Windows or Mac, and you can easily access it with the help of Mobile network or Wi-Fi. MY BLACKBERRY EXPERIENCE
I began the blackberry journey in 2011 after a brief visit to Benin where an old friend from UNIBEN convinced me to switch to the brand. At that point it was in vogue to use a blackberry and join the exclusive list of people who can chat over the very much 'esoteric' BBM app. I told her in no uncertain terms that I am not one for fads and I will just stick to my less exotic and effective brand. It was this assuredness in her voice and her belief that I will find that blackberry different from what I earlier know, that convinced me. I thank her even till date as I have used 2 blackberry Tour, Bold 1, Bold 2, Torch 1, Bold 5 and now using Q5. Indeed there has never been a time when I have been found without a blackberry phone despite the different rival brands that have infiltrated the market. I am your true BlackBerry apologist and fan.
My major attraction to blackberry in summary.
- The ease of access, especially in this BlackBerry 10. You can move from one app to another through the blackberry hub. You can copy and paste, write articles and edit, send and recieve, intra phone and inter phone easily.
- The keypad is soft and easy to operate without being to free.
- The messenger BBM is the best messenger app in the world. Apart from its exclusivity, the group platform has really improved my life, the channels have helped business and kept me informed. The best feature in bbm is the recent updates, you get to see what your friends are doing, keep tabs on their lives, share music and files. BBM's value can never be overstated.
- The picture quality of BlackBerry is in a class of its own. Screen resolution is good especially my phone.
-The battery quality has improved after several complaints. Indeed, RIM listens to reviews.
-The internet data consumption is lower than any other Mordern smart phone.
-Blackberry company have shown time and time again that they are progressives. They don't stay stagnant, they upgrade the BBM app many times a year after reading reviews and complaints to ensure the service is better. More and more things can now be done after every upgrade.
-The ease of changing from one phone to another is commendable. You can easily switch to a new phone without losing anything vital.

There are so many reasons why I like blackberry smartphones. Firstly

The new upgrade on BBM can help you to control what you share; you can time messages by setting how long your contacts have access to messages and pictures shared in a chat before it disappears from the screen. you can as well retract message i.e. to remove the message from your BBM chat. You can also group your contacts into sub groups. You can do Multi-person chats i.e. inviting multiple contacts to chat with. You can post a profile picture and also update your status. you can as well use emoticons for every mood and emotion to express yourself. Overall, I love Blackberry, it is never a dull moment for me.

I love blackberry first cos of the browser. Is mostly a credit to bb. Its faster, handles virtually any kind of website and definitely the data subscriptions is the cheapest compared to other ssmartphones. The touchscreen RIM: has done an amazing job. Two things basically...
1. Blackberry has a powerful data encryption and compression technology: This is why a #1,000 subscription on BB can last for a month (Messages are compressed and encrypted using the device transport key). This is possible on the other version of BB exempting OS 10 which basically works like other smartphones
2. The Unique ID (PIN) makes it easy for me to trace my BB if stolen unlike when BBM is installed on other smartphones, one can easily delete and install a new one and this will give a new PIN.

The resolution of the Blackberry is 1,440 x 1,440 with 24 bit colour depth and the display is 4.5 inches. Due to the pixels Blackberry is calling it a future device as higher pixel density with 453 pixels per inch the padding and the margins appear smaller. The display size of the Nokia Lumia Icon is 5 inches with a full HD resolution 1,920 x 1,080. While the screen size is almost the same except for the shape of the screen.
Processor
Blackberry Passport works on the Blackberry 10 operating system. Under the hood it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2.2GHz Quad-Core CPUs (MSM8974-AA) along with a Adreno 330, 450MHz GPU with 3 GB RAM.
Nokia Lumia Icon works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core processor with a clock time of 2.2 GHz. The Snapdragon 801 can decode more instructions per clock (IPC) making it a superior processor. The Snapdragon 800 and 801 processors are essentially the same (Krait 400) processors with speed bumps across the board. When the phones are used there would be not much of noticeable difference in their speed and functioning.
Memory
Blackberry Passport has a 32 GB flash memory with a microsd card slot expandable up to 128 GB. However, the Nokia Lumia Icon has the same 32 GB internal memory the only drawback is that it does not have expandable memory. On this point some users may be disappointed.
Camera
The Passport has a 13 mega pixels rear facing camera with 2 mega pixels front facing camera. The Lumia Icon on the other hand has a 20 mega pixels Pure View camera and the front facing camera is 1.2 wide angle camera. Here the Lumia Icon has beaten the Blackberry Passport. The Lumia camera can take beautiful crystal clear pictures when compared with the Blackberry.

First and foremost, I have been a die-hard fan of Blackberry right from the onset. Many of friends have migrated to using Android phones but I can't seem to abandon the Blackberry because it has all the unique qualities I need in a phone.
Secondly, I still think the display quality (as clear as ever), camera (auto-focus), connectivity (so compatible), battery life (lasts for an eternity) and sensors(great sensitivity) of the Blackberry are the best one could ever get compared to other phones.

Third factor why i like Blackberry is the new plat form newly introduced into Blackberry called BES12. It lets you manage enterprise mobility across iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices.
I will not just write on what i like blackberry Phones. But in few headlines, i will write why i can’t stop using a blackberry.
1. The keyboard- I got a Driod phone earlier this year, Literally I lost some toasters because of typo error.
I would only realise it when the person suddenly stop chatting and i will be forced to read my chat. This happened not once, or twice.
Sending mail is a norm for my type of job and having an on the go device is unavoidable.
With my blackberry, I noticed that before a mail is sent, the auto-correct reads through all your text and suggest words when it gets to an unfamiliar word, reason I call my BlackBerry my personal assistant.
The keyboard's feel is very crisp and certain when you press keys, that keyboard lovers will be pleased with the feel and responsiveness and also the keys are quite readable.
2. Design - SCREEN!!!! Can any Driod or iPhone beat blackberry?
NO. But if you want to argue the fact that blackberry is the best amongst all in terms of hardware (PHONE SCREEN etc), First check the screen of the next iPhone or Driod user close to you. Even in rare cases of blackberry broken screens, its doesn’t shatters in pieces like iPhone and Samsung. Black berry is not just cool and sexy, its strong and handy.
3. Software/Bundle Data - If you have not used a Driod phone, You may not understand why this headline is necessary. Blackberry bundle plan made life easy. Most people have driod phones for fancy while they use their blackberry for their day to day activities.
4. Features -Blackberry is suitable for all individuals, where is business, healthcare, Government etc.

I like blackberry because it helped i and my boyfriend (now husband) who is very far away from where i reside by keeping our communication level everyday at anytime we wish and it culminated into a wonderful marriage.

And, I will not lie, I love the BlackBerry Hub. I spend much of my day dancing among Google accounts, checking Twitter, reading texts, adding calendar events etc. It's incredibly helpful to have an solid way to keep track of my hectic life. My favorite bit of programming is the swipe gesture to open up a side tray displaying all of my various online accounts.
I have never stopped using a blackberry even when people said its birth right was sold out (BBM) I still believed that blackberry was stil the best... I switched from Javelin to bold 2 from bold 2 upgraded to 4 and now I am using bold 5... I believe and wish I could one a passport because I believe its the best phone currently on planet Earth... I have read various articles about some phones being better than BlackBerry and stuffs like that. However, now using Android, I believe I can confidently say the Blackberry is the best Smart Phone to use.
More efficient internet structure: BB provides access to an unlimited internet data plan and at the least it provides more internet data at a lower cost than any other phone brand.BlackBerry pioneered this structure
More efficient mail structure: BlackBerry provides the most robust and easy to use email structure, due to competition by google and yahoo, Yahoo mail is sometimes inefficient on andriod phones. Also other phone brands require more settings for uncommon emails unlike BlackBerry. BlackBerry pioneered easy access to emails.
Most dynamic chat system. BlackBerry Messenger redefined chatting on phone and created the platform for Whatsapp to enter. At a point people were so used to Black berry Messenger that it became a phenomenon, people could literally be sleeping and chatting on Blackberry Messenger. Blackberry Messenger pioneered so much chat innovations like; no log in required, sending of pix and voice, etc
Now some of the inefficiencies of Blackberry had been battery life and slow system processors. This has however been addressed with the Z10 and Q10 and presently passport.

3)Blackberry has a strong mobile security that cant be hacked into like other phones.Take for instance Angela Merkel cell phone that was hacked into.
i like BlackBerry phone for its…well, communication features.the latest Blackberry Messenger is a bomb with the upgraded version , BlackBerry’s e-mail system, Qwerty keyboard,picture quality, and indicator light all make the communication process a more efficient one,the OS 10.2.1.3441 it's always easy on the go and I don't have it in mind to make switch cause it gives me what I want without stress
First and foremost, I have been a die-hard fan of Blackberry right from the onset. Many of friends have migrated to using Android phones but I can't seem to abandon the Blackberry because it has all the unique qualities I need in a phone.
Secondly, I still think the display quality (as clear as ever), camera (auto-focus), connectivity (so compatible), battery life (lasts for an eternity) and sensors(great sensitivity) of the Blackberry are the best one could ever get compared to other phones.
Thirdly, the high encryption standard that make Blackberry smartphones unique, have since been implemented in other devices, thereby increasing my resolve not to migrate to other phones.

1. Push Technology at Its Finest
I know push email can also be done with other smartphones. You just have to synchronize your phone with your Gmail or Yahoo account and you're good to go. You can start receiving new email notifications once these messages arrive on you your email inbox. But a BlackBerry phone does this so well and at a very low-cost due to data compression.
2. The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM)
The BlackBerry Messenger or BBM is the heart of a BlackBerry phone’s communication features. It's not as fancy as MMS or SMS on your regular smartphone, but BBM chat facility is fast, simple, and connects you to your BlackBerry buddies all the time. The PIN-based communication settings are pretty cool as well. Although there's a downside to it - that is, BBM is pretty useless if you don't know anybody else who is using a BlackBerry phone. This is what's happening to me right now. Most of the BlackBerry users in my day job are Managers and Directors so I don't think it's advisable to ask for their BlackBerry PINs.
Thanks to online community forums, I found a local group of BBM users who are sharing their PINs, whose members are like me- eager to use the BBM but have no friends to communicate with. And so I found a group- and new friends as well.
3. The Business Side of It
When I got my BlackBerry, I immediately asked my company's IT Support if I could connect my phone to our BlackBerry Enterprise Server so that I could access my Lotus Notes Email account on my phone. After paying for a license, they gave me access to our Enterprise Email Server. And so now, I have no reason not to respond to an important email even when I'm out of the office. That's what you get for being "connected all the time."
Seriously, it's no wonder that the BlackBerry is touted as an enterprise phone. The ease of setting up your company's email account and the idea of getting employees to stay connected 24/7 in a cost-efficient manner is definitely appealing to businesses.
4. Data Compression What?
In relation to reason no. 1, what makes the BlackBerry special is the fact that it compresses your data usage. Bear with me with this short anecdote to illustrate this. When I got my iPhone and Nexus One, I was pretty excited to use their web browsing and internet connectivity features. I didn't mind incurring data charges then and only stopped when my local telco provider sent a notification that I may be incurring too much charges. Indeed I was. So I regulated my web browsing usage through 3G and make it a point to use both my iPhone and Nexus on Wi-Fi only, as much as I could.
It was different when I first got my BlackBerry Bold 9700. I did the same web browsing through 3G activity. I turned on all notification settings. Set up my Gmail and Yahoo Mail accounts with my telco provider's BIS. I also ran Facebook, UberTwitter, and Foursquare on the background the whole day. And after a month with those settings, guess how much my data chargers? It was definitely lower than what I incurred during the first month that I was using my other smartphones.
How is this possible? Well, that's because the BlackBerry phones compresses data usage by as much 40% on a regular smartphone. And that's a big difference.
I have been a blackberry user since 2010 & have never looked back since then. I like blackberry chiefly because of its amazing QWERTY keyboard, the blackberry 10 hub feature, the time-shift camera feature, & of course the inimitable BBM! These 4 stand-out blackberry innovations are a deal breaker for me. The keyboard is adaptive, sturdy, stylish & makes typing easy & typo-free. Touch screen keypads aren't just a match to blackberry's amazing QWERTY! Also never lost a 'typing race' with my friends :).
BBM remains the best instant messaging app ever made. It's densed with interesting features, has incredible depth, & is blazing fast! BBM competitors do not come close!
The hub brings all my messages together, makes them easier to track & facilitates multitasking!
The time-shift feature of my camera is simply amazing & unique for perfect pictures!
Finally, the BBM data plans are the most affordable in Nigeria. Nobody wants to dedicate half their salary to (android & iOS) plans!

I like mostly my BBq10 as it has a physical, flattened keyboard like a hybrid setup which I'll also like to enjoy in d latest BBpasport, u cannot just use them one handed,(u won try), Internet download off the edge( within seconds) BB10 has a great outdoor visibility, with my current q10 I can chat all I want outdoors, BlackBerry passport I see as d updated version of the q10 which I will luv to have in terms of long life battery,better camera, Robust build, keypad more like a touchpad etc.. The main reason why i love blackberry is because of the RED/GREEN INDICATOR LIGHT. It has a way of always notifying me of any occurence. Another reason why i love blackberry is because of the physical keyboard functionality. What I love the most about BlackBerry is that it can be used with an affordable subscription. It is good for business's in terms of prompt receiving and sending of mails and typing made easy / fast with its Qwerty keyboard. OMG, it high picture quality it's just "muah" which can be easily uploaded to my facebook and twitter handle, BBM is the fastest chat app in thw world in which other mobile devices emulate. You won't believe this, I can sleep with my eyes closed in a street filled with pick pockets cos the phone can be easily tracked when stolen due to the permanent pin embedded in it. Above all even though I am not a phone software expert, it user friendly operating systems alerts me the instant there is upgrade available to enable me upgrade my phone myself, their backup features is superb and you won't be afraid of loosing files or contact,I just love BlackBerry and I am a fan because I have used almost all their devices.
I love Blackberry phones because they are classy, tasteful and easy to use. For several other reasons including but not limited to:
a. I love the indicator notifying you of a new message.
b. I love the fact that you can multi-task with it by minimizing unfinished businesses [this is one of my best features].
c. You can subscribe at your convenience by yourself unlike other phone which require help from internet providers.

There are things about BlackBerry that simply doesn’t let its hard core fans and users like me down,When it comes to technology, Android and iOS devices are at the top of the food chain. So, does that mean BlackBerry is being completely outclassed OR out of the limelight definitely not infact blantantly NEVER!!
Permit me to outlist the reasons i like my BB Gadgets in formal details...
1). Great Keyboards – BlackBerry keyboards are pretty flexible and of great help for fast texting without errors. The keyboards feel way better than touch type. It’s like, you can carry grocery in one hand and text on the other, Amazing huh?
2). Variety in Styles – Frankly speaking, one gets bored of the same old block style. Be it the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the iPhone 5, it’s the same style. I and people around me can affirm that blackberry smartphones are durable because it is the most used phone with good battery life and long life span. I love blackberry first cos of the browser. Is a credit to bb. Its faster, handles virtually any kind of website and definitely the data subscriptions is the cheapest compared to other ssmartphones. The touchscreen RIM: has done an amazing job. I love how it moves left to right and up to down. It has message icon and you can move some icon to favourites. The design is awesome. The camera is very bright and memory capacity is great.

Blackberry phones are SMART! They work very well with numerous apps, their batteries last long and the phones are strong and durable. I have used a Bold2.
I particularly admire the BB Passport because of its large screen. It is a phone i wish to use for STUDYING ON THE GO, and so the large screen will come in real handy. I am elated to see that the Passport also has a lot of flexibility with regards to functions, and battery life is 30 hours!!!Thank you Blackberry.

blackberry takes out time to bring out the best, modified and sleek phones. right from the days of the popular i must use bb without camera, to the days of curve, storm 1 and 2, bold.. to mention a few, bb pix quality is classy, u can take motion pixs and it would luk like still photo, the contact backup: a phone that if i misplace and or change i dont have to stat calln pple for contacts only by just entering my email address i would get all my phone contacts, messages, call logs and bbm chats as if i never lost any phone and even my contact wont know i made a switch, talk abt bbm wifi voice chat, its amazing, my red light that helps me each tym am bored, qwerty key board that makes typing so lovely and easy, the ability to request for a higher resolution of pixs even when you have the least bb and still it would luk superb. what about auto texting that gives the ability to edit your texts, no matter how iphones and androids can download and use bbm, d truth is dat bbm is still better on blackberry phones, nothing compares to a bb phone, browser made easy with high speed, battery life seems below other phones yes i agree bcos of chats and all but it charges faster than any other phone and boots once connected to power whether in car or low current, wot abt the music on the go, d playlist selection, d filtering in d music, etc.

I own a blackberry curve 7, it sleek and fast and has the best flash light a phone can offer. I think blackberry is great cos its fast, stylish and BBM gave birth to most chat applications you see in the world right now so let's say they lead, others follow
Reception and call quality. I never had any dropped calls but there is always room for improvement in call quality.
Display High resolution, Good Colour saturation, Great brightness
Battery life Lasts me currently 4 days, much better than most devices.
Camera.. Camera is definatly better than my previous Blackberry Q5.
Ease of use... The OS is simple and easy to use, no issues. But always room for improvement.
Design and form factor... The form factor is defiantly something you will have to get used to over time since its so different to "normal" tall and skinny.
Portability (size / weight)... All devices that have a 4.5" screen and larger start to leave the portability section.
Media support.... Plays all my media; music, movies, series ect. No issues with this..
Durability The Blackberry Passport is built to last. Solid well designed device. Well worth the price.
Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.).... The App situation is poor. Although you can install Android apps. Native apps for Blackberry are still very small.
The Blackberry Passport, a device thats build by business people for business people. Not that anyone else can't use it!
Battery life is great. Gets you though the whole day and more. Perfect for those long weekends where there are no changing ports. Even with heavy use, you can push through 30 hours easily.
Design: The Passport looks like you would expect with a premium device. A metal frame for a solid construction with a slim bezel for maxim screen real-estate.
Camera: The camera is good . Its a big improvement over the Z10 & Q10 that many uses have currently. with a F2.0 aperture your low light shots will come out leader and less noisy.
All round, i have had a good experience with Blackberry Passport and i would recommend it to anyone who is a blackberry enthusiast or someone who is looking to break away from the mould and stand out in the crowd with something that is new and innovative.
This is a beast. It is a mobile office !. Excel, PDF, Doc email calls Webex Evernote, conference calls works like a charm. You need time to get used to it but eventually you will really like to look at webpages and document on it ! my other narrow phone is not as suitable ! Another plus is great.
Calendar integration with webex other possible bridges for phone calls is unique to BB10. And I really like Blackberry Blend Dashboard while at the office or in the plane you work follow you on the devices you want !
he keyboard is excellent the screen easy to look at and the built in apps tie things together well, I use my laptop in the field 50 percent less with this phone, love it

I used to have a blackberry then it got stolen. Then i decided to go for an android phone since that was the phone of the moment but i found it quite difficult to type with the keyboard because i was used to the feel of the physical keyboard. I decided to get another blackberry to use along side my android. I use the android for photos and music. but when you have an email and you need to type fast, you need to have that keyboard. And now it is even easier because blackberry have found a way of combining both features that is the touch screen and the physical keyboard. Another feature is the BBM smileys the are so unique from other apps
Blackberry has got good physical keyboard even with a touchscreen(love my bold 6). I love the way the buttons stick up. The keyboard features help to prevent typing errors at would normally occur when using other touchscreen keyboards. Concerning phone security, Blackberry can be counted on as well as its great battery life. The start up for blackberry to me is unique and it allows for sharing multiple pictures and attachments at the same time on BBM. Whats not to love about blackberry...
Fact is when everyone was ditching blackberry and defecting to iPhone, I stayed loyal and continued with my simple but effective blackberry Z10 because it had always served me so well since the inception. Fast forward 14 months later and my Z10 is still serving me well... But not as well as the brand spanking new BlackBerry Passport would. 1. Push Technology at Its Finest
I know push email can also be done with other smartphones. You just have to synchronize your phone with your Gmail or Yahoo account and you're good to go. You can start receiving new email notifications once these messages arrive on you your email inbox. But a BlackBerry phone does this so well and at a very low-cost due to data compression.
2. The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM)
The BlackBerry Messenger or BBM is the heart of a BlackBerry phone’s communication features. It's not as fancy as MMS or SMS on your regular smartphone, but BBM chat facility is fast, simple, and connects you to your BlackBerry buddies all the time. The PIN-based communication settings are pretty cool as well. Although there's a downside to it - that is, BBM is pretty useless if you don't know anybody else who is using a BlackBerry phone. This is what's happening to me right now. Most of the BlackBerry users in my day job are Managers and Directors so I don't think it's advisable to ask for their BlackBerry PINs.
Thanks to online community forums, I found a local group of BBM users who are sharing their PINs, whose members are like me- eager to use the BBM but have no friends to communicate with. And so I found a group- and new friends as well.
3. The Business Side of It
When I got my BlackBerry, I immediately asked my company's IT Support if I could connect my phone to our BlackBerry Enterprise Server so that I could access my Lotus Notes Email account on my phone. After paying for a license, they gave me access to our Enterprise Email Server. And so now, I have no reason not to respond to an important email even when I'm out of the office. That's what you get for being "connected all the time."
Seriously, it's no wonder that the BlackBerry is touted as an enterprise phone. The ease of setting up your company's email account and the idea of getting employees to stay connected 24/7 in a cost-efficient manner is definitely appealing to businesses.
4. Data Compression What?
In relation to reason no. 1, what makes the BlackBerry special is the fact that it compresses your data usage. Bear with me with this short anecdote to illustrate this. When I got my iPhone and Nexus One, I was pretty excited to use their web browsing and internet connectivity features. I didn't mind incurring data charges then and only stopped when my local telco provider sent a notification that I may be incurring too much charges. Indeed I was. So I regulated my web browsing usage through 3G and make it a point to use both my iPhone and Nexus on Wi-Fi only, as much as I could.
It was different when I first got my BlackBerry Bold 9700. I did the same web browsing through 3G activity. I turned on all notification settings. Set up my Gmail and Yahoo Mail accounts with my telco provider's BIS. I also ran Facebook, UberTwitter, and Foursquare on the background the whole day. And after a month with those settings, guess how much my data chargers? It was definitely lower than what I incurred during the first month that I was using my other smartphones.
How is this possible? Well, that's because the BlackBerry phones compresses data usage by as much 40% on a regular smartphone. And that's a big difference.
I love blackberry simply because of the internet bundles.. Browse more and pay less.. What else can you ask for, the internet at your disposal at very cheap price..

I love Blackberry phones because they are classy, tasteful and easy to use. For several other reasons including but not limited to:
a. I love the indicator notifying you of a new message.
b. I love the fact that you can multi-task with it by minimizing unfinished businesses [this is one of my best features].
c. You can subscribe at your convenience by yourself unlike other phone which require help from internet providers.
d. Blackberry is blackberry.
There are things about BlackBerry that simply doesn’t let its hard core fans and users like me down,When it comes to technology, Android and iOS devices are at the top of the food chain. In a nutshell, what I love about Blackberry phones especially BB10 is the efficiency of the messaging system as well as fluidity of the OS. Also, the seamless interaction with the phone and the ease of operation just feels right. Another interesting part of the Blackberry device is the emailing system which is the unique selling point of the BlackBerry. Both the hardware and software are tailored towards email, which in turn gives it a particular advantage among business users. Blackberry allows users to send and receive emails from their accounts in a secure format, synchronizing with their work computer. Emails are transmitted on a push basis, meaning they are actively sent to the phone like a text, rather than forcing the user to manually log in to an account and check for messages. Also, the flexibility of the keyboard in BB10 is amazing and makes typing fast and easy.

BlackBerry brand of smart phones since its debut in the Nigerian market has changed a whole lot about mobile communication. I like BlackBerry because they perform a whole lot of immense functions. Unlike the Android smart phones that are not economical in terms of mobile data consumption, BlackBerry offers a very affordable internet bundle packages that enables its users browse the internet with ease as we do not have to continuously switch off our data whilst not in use for the fear of exhausting our data. This trend is very common with the Android phones where one have to constantly switch off his/her data bundle to avoid data run out. The ability of the phone to constantly update its software thereby offering more exciting features that enhance better performance makes it stand out from others. With BlackBerry protect, I can easily track my phone when stolen and also recover my very important document when backed up. With my Q5 range of BlackBerry, Its internet option enables me open a wide range of tabs thereby giving me the option to navigate easily to a different tab when needed. My ability to receive mails on the go while not in my office helps me track my business as I don't have to be in the office to attend to my mails and send necessary responses. With its various settings, I can allocate a unique ring tone to a special contact, download fun & exciting apps, its picture clarity is second to non, I download and read PDF files, I can scan and send an important document without having to use office scanners, it enables me save document which are easily accessible. As a matter of fact, my reasons are numerous to mention, and lest I forget, the phones are VERY durable and quite pocket friendly.
I love the Blackberry devices for so many reasons. Firstly. The Brand have been consistent since its release in the year 1999 and, Secondly, since Blackberry phones have touched the market since its release, before that, the company research in Motion was making pagers, home computers, Atari games and so on. When the era of smart phones came, the company started to make the Blackberry phones. They have been in the market long enough to make a foot hold in the competitive market among other companies that have been making the same smart gadgets with
different features. Research in Motion (RIM), is not known by many, people as the founder company behind Blackberry,
and its gadgets in the market since the 1990’s, and also, the brand has been Innovative Over the years, they always come up with something new and fresh and definitely appealing to Customers worldwide. Thirdly, the Blackberry device over the years have thousands of amazing apps that would blow ones mind. The brand is just so smart, like what it implies.. Perfect Brand for the Kids, Youths, and Old. In one word the Brand is AWESOME!

My addiction for blackberry phones is mainly because its user friendly. Its like having a laptop and a television all in a phone. Unlike other phones blackberry is flexible and u don't need to purchase almost everything to enjoy your phone. My ability to share files through bluetooth and other platform is what I love most about blackberry. The last but not the least is bbm. Bbm is the main reason I got addicted to blackberry phone. Its the best mobile chatting app that exists. Thank God cos with it am in touch with over 100 distant friends.
