Good day to you all. Blackberry phones has really helped and improved the mode of communication locally and internationally. Blackberry started the instant messaging platform, which has really upgraded the social status of everyone. It also helped in providing more security in our system, because people are able to take a snapshot or a video clip of any crime scene, send across until it gets to d media ie(Linda Ikeji Blog) that will help expose such crime to the world, until the culprits are apprehended. Since 2009 when I had my first blackberry phone; there has been a tremendous improvement in the quality of the phone with each verson developed.what i like about the latest version includes word prediction facility. I am a lazy writer so I find the word prediction very handy. It makes my typing very fast and I dont jave to crack my brain to spell words. Another thing I like in black berry phone is ots high resolution camera. Taking picture is my hobby and I fpund black berry camera a good companion in enjoying my hobby. Also it makes Hd video. Its scereen sharing facility which enables one tp connect with other blackberry user is awesome. Use of multiple tabs is also possible with new blackberry.. This enables one to move from one workstation to another without closing atab..The browser is also quick. Even anaesthetically, blackberry has a good size and weight which make it look so beautiful to flaunt in a social gathering.

It's autoconfiguration is the key. i.e. it's simple to use, you don't have to "know" anything about servers or settings etc.
Also because the internet/email is free, at least on some networks, on the BlackBerry.

1) Blackberry is the most secure phone
2) Fingers of all shapes and sizes could handle those big, beautiful keyboards more easily— and with fewer typos — than touch-screen options.
3) Productivity and email communication were always BlackBerry's forte. It was first with push email notifications on the homescreen.
4)The exclusiveness of BBM made the messaging feature more attractive.
5) With the little red light that blinked whenever a message arrive, you can turn off the notification alert and still get to know you have a message.

BlackBerry Hub: BlackBerry devices have always been focused on communications and Blackberry provides an incredible communications experience through the BlackBerry Hub. I love how I can have several services set up and keep in touch with people in one central place on the phone that is extremely easy to access from anywhere with a couple simple gestures
No BIS/BES requirement: I could never be fully satisfied with a BlackBerry before because the BIS experience was not complete and my company doesn't have a BES. BlackBerry 10 is now fully BYOD compliant and I can use it as my primary device if I desire.
BlackBerry Keyboard: All platforms have great keyboards and lately I have been loving Swype and SwiftKey on Android. However, the predictive implementation on BlackBerry 10 is unique and efficient and I think I may have found my new favorite smartphone keyboard.
Fast modern web browser: The web browser on a Blackberry phone is a pleasure to use. It is fast, supports multiple tabs, and I haven't seen any limitations so far. It even supports Flash for those that want it. I would like to see syncing like I have on Chrome, but it's a nice mobile browser.

I love how I can have several services set up and keep in touch with people in one central place on the phone that is extremely easy to access from anywhere with a couple simple gestures
No BIS/BES requirement: I could never be fully satisfied with a BlackBerry before because the BIS experience was not complete and my company doesn't have a BES. BlackBerry 10 is now fully BYOD compliant and I can use it as my primary device if I desire.
BlackBerry Keyboard: All platforms have great keyboards and lately I have been loving Swype and SwiftKey on Android. However, the predictive implementation on BlackBerry 10 is unique and efficient and I think I may have found my new favorite smartphone keyboard.
Fast modern web browser: The web browser on a Blackberry phone is a pleasure to use. It is fast, supports multiple tabs, and I haven't seen any limitations so far. It even supports Flash for those that want it. I would like to see syncing like I have on Chrome, but it's a nice mobile browser.

I like Blackberry because of their unique KEYBOARD (especially the physical keyboard), their adaptive keyboards and features, ease of one-handed typing, range of shortcuts makes Blackberry standout.
Also, Blackberry LIGHT INDICATOR fascinates me a great deal.
Their BROWSER "which is usually fast", does not require additional downloads or plug-ins to work properly.
To me, it also pass as a business minded device with its uniquely designed e-mail system.
I boldly say without being biased that Blackberry Keyboard, Light Indicator, E-mail System, amongst many other features makes them unique and hence, my reason for liking them over the years.

Blackberry's forte is its productivity and email communication as it can open almost any email attachment type, the keyboard is ergonomic and most BB phones can be operated single handedly. More importantly, the apps on BB phones are awesome,picture outcome are great and the battery life keeps getting better.

Why I love my blackberry and won't switch.
Blackberry is designed to make the daily multitasking I do achieveable, from text messaging and email to status updates and chatting on IM clients like BBM, Blackberry is a Social Network Pro.
My physical and adaptive keyboard remains the trend for me, I’ve still never lost a typing race to my iPhone or Android friends. Also, the cheaper data rates for Blackberry subscription in Nigeria is
a deal beaker for me anytime. Another best feature that I make sure to show off is the BlackBerry camera, the Time Shift feature is unique and people love to try it especially with kids.
But that red indicator light? I love it as much. It's silver-red light is unique to any smartphone indicator.
While my BBM is no longer the only reason that keeps me a BlackBerry user, I do have yet another new reason to remain loyal, it's my choice!
And moreso, it doesn't bend in your pocket :)

My first Blackberry phone was BB 9700. I love Blackberry products for the freedom I get in moving my files and media to and fro from the device. I like the fact that I can connect my devices through a micro-HDMI cable to my big screen. I love the ability to have expansion memory in the form of a micro SD card for my files that I can remove at any time and insert into another device. My emails are fast at a speed of sound. I love the fact that its has a modern smartphone standard keyboard which are spaced in a beautiful manner just the way i wish my phone to be. Its the most beautiful phone I've ever seen and to me, d best from the blackberry company. I love the wideness of its screen which i know will aid bright and bold display and will also be able to view documents faster and also in a desktop view. It will ofcourse double as a tablet and a phone for me. Its ability to install and run android apps unlike my current phone. I can also share and have fun on instagram. I started using the Blackberry in 2009 when I graduated from University, it was a jaw-dropping gift by my parents and I was really amaze and could not wait to flaunt it. The cool sound of the BBM alert, the barcode scanning, the messages blink, the cool keyboard and user-friendly browsing experience kept me glued to the phone that I could not see myself using another phone. I started with the Bold 1 (2009), Storm 1 (2010), Storm 2 (2010), Torch (2011), and Bold 9900 (2012).
It was time to change my phone once again and I yielded to people’s opinion and got myself a popular brand of Smartphone, the newest edition in 2012 October. At first, I felt cool using this phone, simply because my friends were happy I was off the blackberry syndrome. To cut the long story short, I found myself getting the Blackberry Z10 in January 2013 in the UK, as I was not enjoying the so-called Smartphone. It was a mess in terms of business functions and it was not user-friendly coupled with the fact that I never enjoy typing on it.
I am a business person, an Investment Banker and an entrepreneur. I communicate a lot and get financial market update and read magazines. I love to browse and chat. I enjoy beneficial and non-addictive games like Word Mole, I love cool and matured apps and I am very much concerned with how much I spend on my phone for data. Considering all this, blackberry has been the best phone for me and I do not see myself using any other phone available now.
Now let’s state the obvious why I like blackberry. The physical keyboard is still a deal breaker; I won’t give up on it. Fingers of all shapes and sizes could handle those big, beautiful keyboards more easily and with fewer typos than touch-screen options. Also, blackberry has been keeping it simple since day one. Removing a BlackBerry’s battery is not a physical impossibility, and then, if you drop a BlackBerry, it won’t crack and subsequently deposit glass into your cheek every time you call someone. Furthermore, Emails come through way quicker on BlackBerry.
Back to the basic, the original goal of the Smartphone was to blend the PDA, two-way pager and phone into a single productivity-focused product. A single device that fit in your pocket or purse held your contacts, email, calendar and, in the case of the BlackBerry, a two-way pager. Analyzing this basic, blackberry has achieved this goal.
Why am I here for the Blackberry passport?
I am fascinated by the big, weird squareness of the phone and so desperate to own one.
The phone feels like it will be perfect for people like me; people who need their phones to do a lot of work, a lot of email, a lot of reading, and a lot of business stuff like PDFs.

I’m sorry that your friends and family don’t call you anymore. To be honest what’s the point when they can read from your status every 1min that you are fine?

Even if I don't win this...BB is still the best Phone in Nigeria. I've tried other Andriod n iOS phones...its very expensive to maintain. So why waste when I can get all I need on my BB phone.
I like blackberry because of its revolutionary platform for email on the go. I have been using the blackberry device for quite sometime now mainly because of easy access to my mails on the go for multiple accounts, also the qwerty keyboard makes typing the next best thing.
On a lighter note, BBM has revolutionized chatting on its real time platform. i currently have four groups on my device and have easy access to communicate to over 400 people with the simple push of a button.
I would love to try out this Blackberry passport, i hope to get lucky.

Blackberry phones are useful for checking email. Blackberry uses their own servers so they are very secure. Web browsing is ok at best. Due to being the most secure they are excellent for business where extra frills are not necessary or contractually not allowed.
I like blackberry :
1.the red indicator light : it make me to know when I have new messages .

I have been a blackberry lover from day one from bold one to bold 3 to bold5 now am using Z3... it is way cheaper to use then all this android phones....win or not still going to be blackberry lover..
I have used almost every blackberry there is,asides the Z10 instead I got the Z30,in January and like I always tell people it's my best blackberry ever, the battery last for 24 hours, I use the touch light through out the night if no power.
On a general note, I like the fact that blackberry syncs with everything application, it's easy to use and typing is super easy.
Why would I want another blackberry, my little girl dropped my Z30 hence the face is cracked. Another birthday is coming in January, having a new blackberry would not be a bad gift.

Why I love my blackberry and won't switch.
Blackberry is designed to make the daily multitasking I do achieveable, from text messaging and email to status updates and chatting on IM clients like BBM, Blackberry is a Social Network Pro.
My physical and adaptive keyboard remains the trend for me, I’ve still never lost a typing race to my iPhone or Android friends. Also, the cheaper data rates for Blackberry subscription in Nigeria is
a deal beaker for me anytime. Another best feature that I make sure to show off is the BlackBerry camera, the Time Shift feature is unique and people love to try it especially with kids.
But that red indicator light? I love it as much. It's silver-red light is unique to any smartphone indicator.
While my BBM is no longer the only reason that keeps me a BlackBerry user, I do have yet another new reason to remain loyal, it's my choice!
And moreso, it doesn't bend in your pocket :)

What I like about BlackBerry Phones is the fact that:
You can have many features on it: BBM, Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, and numerous of your mails.
You can also have so many contacts on BBM and on Whatsapp for those not using BlackBerry.
A lot of my friends complain of Android phones because of its slow nature and high cost of MB ( updates itself even when the application is not in use) but with N1,000.00 one can actually do a whole lot with BlackBerry Phones.
And the fact that we can send out broadcast messages to a whole lot of people at the same time, and also the way you can use pictures to express your self etc...
Because of its originality.it is one of its kind......incomparable.....and the quality of the applications that comes wit the new series of blackberry.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY.
1) Blackberry ‘s easy navigation: Using blackberry phones is quite easy and not as complex as using other smart phones as you can pick up a blackberry phone and easily navigate its to whatever you want to do without the use of a manual.
2) One of the most secure phones: Recently, a lot of celebrity nudes where leaked online owing to the fact that hackers where able to penetrate their phone OS and was able to get videos most of their most private videos and pictures, but we cannot here this type of story from people in the Blackberry team, Blackberry regarded as one of the most secure phones because whatever documents/information/ saved on it cannot be easily extracted by a third party, its device and RIM network system is entirely secure, unlike other phones.
3) Blackberry phones phones are also ranked no 1 in manageability, No 1 reason is that Rim and blackberry is the most mature, most stable and most enterprise friendly networks out there.
4) Blackberry phones always get better: Over the years, we have seen black berry phones metamorphose from the very heavy BOLD 1 to the very sleek and elegant blackberry classic and the beautiful others. They keep improving and getting better just like old wine.

There are two major things I love about my blackberry, the first being that It can pick up mobile network even in the remotest part of my town, the second being that I can totally blog with it. Write a full post with pictures and publish it when am done. It loads every damn page a computer can load. That is an outstanding feature.

Fast modern web browser: The web browser on a Blackberry phone is a pleasure to use. It is fast, supports multiple tabs, and I haven't seen any limitations so far. It even supports Flash for those that want it. I would like to see syncing like I have on Chrome, but it's a nice mobile browser.

The 13mp camera is what would make me want this phone, in a normal day light it is Absolutely Flawless! for me pictures and battery life is everything and this Blackberry Passport has got it all!!
I love the physical keyboard on BlackBerry which make typing easy n devoid of typographical errors. The camera especially on the '10' series is amazing as other smart phones with higher pixels. The BBM is still a very important feature. Another fact is that, when I'm typing and I put a period after a space, It automatically switches the space for the period and allows me continue typing. The blackberry device will always be the resought to device for me in terms of data. No other phones makes data subscription worthwhile than what blackberry has done. With a thousand naira, u stay connected for roughly a month which is not possible with the android and ios devices well except u can pay the huge amount that comes with it. Thanks to blackberry, i am up to date with all my favourite series downloads. I am also yet to get any device that does the auto on and auto off the blackberry does. My bold 9900 goes off automatically by 11pm and comes on 6am. This way, my battery is conserved altru the night especially when i do sleepoff with no electricity.

Let me start from the body I mean case, very portable and rugged e.g bold 2, I love it.
Both the keypad and torch screen are easy to type.
The second thing is that the big improvement that I love in blackberry is the OS. It is very different, It is fast in surfing e.g. Q10,Z10, reliable and extremely stable. The browser is much improved and now virtually equivalent to an android or iOS browser due to its HTML5 coding and better JavaScript.
My conclusion ; I can't use any phone except blackberry smart phone.

Am a die hard blackberry fan. Especially my blaackberr Q10. It's productivity and multitasking ability makes it the 'It' device yet. Texting, BBM, browsing; the ability to swipe up and see my mails or pings without leaving what am doing is fantastic. Also the spelling corrections and word predictions is another reason why am in love with my blackberry. What I like about blackberry phones is blackberry world where u can easily download app.
What's not to like. . I remember getting my first blackberry and three bbs later I have never regretted using the phone. It just combines all the functionality I need in one small device plus there's data plans for BB that are stress free. I mean the fact that the BBM app is so popular on other smart phones says a lot.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY.
1) Blackberry ‘s easy navigation: Using blackberry phones is quite easy and not as complex as using other smart phones as you can pick up a blackberry phone and easily navigate to whatever you want to do without the use of a manual.
2) One of the most secure phones: Recently, a lot of celebrity nudes where leaked online owing to the fact that hackers where able to penetrate their phone OS and was able to get videos most of their most private videos and pictures, but we cannot here this type of story from people in the Blackberry team, Blackberry regarded as one of the most secure phones because whatever documents/information/ saved on it cannot be easily extracted by a third party, its device and RIM network system is entirely secure, unlike other phones.
3) Blackberry phones phones are also ranked no 1 in manageability, No 1 reason is that Rim and blackberry is the most mature, most stable and most enterprise friendly networks out there.
4) Blackberry phones always get better: Over the years, we have seen black berry phones metamorphose from the very heavy BOLD 1 to the very sleek and elegant blackberry classic and the beautiful others. They keep improving and getting better just like old wine.

I love BlackBerry, first because of the security. With BlackBerry, you won't need to worry too much about virus attacks, downloading/upgrading antivirus and most importantly, your data are secured, which was the advice I gave my brother using another phone and that was enough to make him switch.
Secondly, the BlackBerry keyboards. No one can deny that BlackBerry keyboards are the best out there, both the virtual and the hardware keyboard, though I prefer the latter.
BlackBerry Messenger is another thing I so love about BlackBerry phones. Although BBM is now cross-platform, to me it is cooler using BBM on BB.
Other little things I love about BlackBerry: the logo (no matter how funny this sounds, I really love BlackBerry logo; it gives me pride, that is especially remembering the feeling of using my first BlackBerry, Bold 2, then Bold 4, before switching to BlackBerry10 with Z10), the designs, etc.

BlackBerry Passport has been my dream phone since the day I first saw a picture of it on Crackberry; when it was still called Windermere and later when I read the phone review after it was launch on 24th September, 2014.

I decided to type the entire thing from the phone itself. Though I have not use the phone before but my friend did and I see a lot of qualities in it. My twisted idea came from a realization that this square Blackbery 10 is the first phone with a physical keyboard that I've never seen before. since I started using phone. It's not even a normal keyboard by modern smartphone standards -- it's a flattened, hybrid setup with both physical and virtual elements and a curiously placed space bar. Needless to say, it's the Best device ever, one that truly deserves the ultimate test: I Can use it to crank out several thousand words of text.

Whenever I whip out the Passport -- which understandably got its name for having the same dimensions as a real passport -- I hear mutterings of disbelief that a product like this even exists. Saying it's unique is an understatement: The only device that looks remotely similar is the LG Optimus Vu, a nearly square, all-screen phone from 2012. I'll give credit to BlackBerry where it's due: Its bizarre design got people talking. Indeed, buzz is something BlackBerry hasn't enjoyed for a long time. Before the Passport, its most recent handset quietly debuted in February: the Z3, a modest touchscreen device designed for emerging markets like Indonesia. This is the first piece of hardware the phone maker has launched globally in well over a year. And not only that, but it also has the most competitive specs of any BlackBerry in years. At 128 x 90.3mm, the phone really is as wide as it seems -- it's wider than most large-screened phones on the market -- but BlackBerry insists this is a feature rather than a setback. Because it's using a 4.5-inch square display that's 30 percent wider than an average 5-inch phone, the company claims you'll read up to 60 characters per line and get a better viewing experience. In a way, that's true: I enjoyed reading articles and e-books on the Passport because text didn't have to wrap or get cut off as often, but the trade-off was an awkward one-handed fit and more frequent vertical scrolling. The Passport has a 3.5mm headphone jack and power button on the top, with a micro-USB/micro-HDMI port and stereo speakers on the bottom. The left side is bare, but the right features volume up/down buttons separated by a convenience key used for BlackBerry Assistant and media play/pause. The device is adorned with four mics, including one hidden in the phone earpiece. There's a 2MP front-facing camera above the display and to the right of a notification LED and other sensors.
This all I can say for now still have more to say about blackberry Passport keybord but i am going to say something about the keyboard before I leave it to Linda Ikeji to review it and send to Blackberry Nigeria. I have to learn a brand-new design. i suppose that's part of the fun. This company, despite never-ending layoffs and turmoil, has churned out an impressive feat of engineering. The three-row keyboard doubles as a touch-sensitive trackpad that adds gestures to the typing experience in a very clever way. With it, BlackBerry has evolved an old-fashioned keyboard into something fresh and -- dare I say -- innovative. I love Blackberry Passport I love linda Ikeji blog.

BLACKBERRY PHONES ARE BETTER THAN ANY OTHER PHONES BECAUSE:-
The apps are easy to install and remove - The media center on the phone – ringtones, videos and pictures; you can change the picture on your themes. Themes are easy to install - the theme of the device window or operating system. You can generally find these free at forums like eveek or pin stack. Email features are great - pretty positive you can have at least three email accounts going directly to your phone. The internet is pretty quick for a phone compared to my prior phone. The memory card is easy to put in - just pull the battery and flip the little mechanism put the card in and flip it back in place with the little secure clamp and your ready to go. You can charge your phone via car charger, USB to computer or the av adapter into the wall. Voice recorder , call log where you can see the history of the person who called you; voice dailing feature; calendar where you can schedule your appts. The text features are good. The GPS device works quite well. Password keeper, Instant messaging apps from AIM to AOL, Facebook & MySpace Apps. The email on a Blackberry is second to none. The calendar is easy to use and you can sync your email and calendar with your computer. Google maps, facebook app, myspace app, gmail are available. Camera on the phone allows you to send a picture via email to someone else. If you like a full QWERTY go with the curve, if you want to txt fast with one hand go with the Pearl, it is easy to get used to either. I THINK BLACKBERRY PHONES ARE UNDOUBTEDLY THE PHONES IN THE MARKET, TRUST ME.
I like Blackberry because is the only mobile product that give an affordable unlimited internet access to its users after they subscribe to blackberry internet services from their chosen network operators, it has a unique number called pin which is serve as an identification number, in case of lost such number will help u to trace your phone and blackberry has a security that protects it's users from scammers. With blackberry ur files, contacts and documents are safe cos of its unique backup and upgrading system.

God bless the people at RIM, they have made life really easy. With my emails straight to my homepage work is a breeze. And with BBM, I don't have to spend lots of cash keeping in touch with my friends/family abroad. I easily follow the growth of my nephews and nieces around the world through BBM. Introducing voice call on BBM was epic( I am looking forward to video call though). Blackberry is the smartest ever yet easy to operate. I love my BlackBerry and I’m not ashamed to admit it.BlackBerry, and I love my phone. Sure, I’ve used all types of devices, but I need a device for productivity. BlackBerry is designed to make the daily multitasking I do achievable.I believe that when it comes to wireless communication, nothing beats the simple utility of RIM’s BlackBerry smartphone.
I’ve been a BlackBerry user for more than 6years. Back in late when blackberry storm came out,I knew I had to get one.
Over the years, BlackBerrys made the transformation from expensive and scarce to affordable and everywhere. For a device that first made its mark in the financial community, I often noticed regular consumers using more modern BlackBerry hardware than my colleagues.

I love the BlackBerry because it's the best mobile brand in the market. Not only is it the best in terms of swift and easy messaging, it also is very strong in terms of the materials used in making each phone, has the best browser ever and NFC for detection of smart tags. I know all this because I'm BlackBerry's No. 1 loyal fan(I have never been a fan of any other since I got lost and BlackBerry Maps saved me). I would be thrilled if I won the new BlackBerry Passport as my BlackBerry Bold 9900 begs for a sibling.

BlackBerry 10 is a fresh operating system and pretty radical for BlackBerry. The hardware isn't revolutionary, but it is solid and on par with other high end black slab phones. Let's take a look at the things I find most appealing about blackberry..
BlackBerry Hub: BlackBerry devices have always been focused on communications and Blackberry provides an incredible communications experience through the BlackBerry Hub. I love how I can have several services set up and keep in touch with people in one central place on the phone that is extremely easy to access from anywhere with a couple simple gestures
No BIS/BES requirement: I could never be fully satisfied with a BlackBerry before because the BIS experience was not complete and my company doesn't have a BES. BlackBerry 10 is now fully BYOD compliant and I can use it as my primary device if I desire.
BlackBerry Keyboard: All platforms have great keyboards and lately I have been loving Swype and SwiftKey on Android. However, the predictive implementation on BlackBerry 10 is unique and efficient and I think I may have found my new favorite smartphone keyboard.
Fast modern web browser: The web browser on a Blackberry phone is a pleasure to use. It is fast, supports multiple tabs, and I haven't seen any limitations so far. It even supports Flash for those that want it. I would like to see syncing like I have on Chrome, but it's a nice mobile browser.
