End-of-year LIB Giveaway continues! Win 2 Blackberry Passports

I told y'all I will be giving away 10 Blackberry Passports courtesy Blackberry Nigeria. The phones are already in my possession...and they are worth about N150k each. I will be giving away 2 phones everyday from today Dec 15th to Friday Dec. 19th. But to win this is a little different from the random selection I do with the money giveaway. You have to work a little harder to win this...:-)

To win a phone, write a short note on what you like about Blackberry on the comment section. The guys at Blackberry Nigeria will review entries and send names of winners to me. If you win, you will meet me this weekend to collect your phone. If you don't live in Lagos, we will find a way to send the phone to you. Good luck guys...

There are so many things I love about blackberry. Well I have talk based on my current one which is the Z10
1. Built and design: The slim frame and screen size is just perfect.
2. Super secure: what more can I ask for when it comes to security. With BB10, security is built-in. All communication is encrypted (and they are notoriously hard to intercept for governments) and the system has been awarded the FIP 140-2 certification, meaning it’s safe for corporations and government agencies to use.
3. Flexibility: Ability to run android apps on OS 10.3
Can go on and on......

BlackBerry smartphones have had two major advantages. They used a special server technology that sat between the phone and email systems to provide better performance. Because of the way they worked, they also offered a higher level of security than other systems. In fact, the first smartphone carried by a U.S. president was President Obama's BlackBerry. With the release of the BlackBerry 10 operating system, BlackBerry phones have many unique characteristics. it has enhanced keyboard which makes it easy for typing(thats if u are not using touch screen). The Balance feature lets a BlackBerry phone serve as both a work device and a personal one, allowing you to carry just one phone. last but not the least, i love the Red light, it tells me everything about my phone, 1. tells me when i have a message, missed calls even low battery. so tell me why i will not indulge in blackberry... just took my time to say it shaa... hope i get one..lol

The things I like about Blackberry are 1. It is easy to operate, if you are a first time user of a smart phone I recommend Black berry popularly called BB.
2. With Blackberry your school assignment and browsing the net, especially in Nigeria given our network situation is made easy and at a minimal cost for a month. Which you can't get using other smart phones. Because of data consumption.
3. Blackberry is portable.
4. I can check my new notifications without switching
apps.
5.The blackberry ID helps me to switch my BBM with easy and help save my contacts.
6. my Blackberry phone is my office on the go, on my hand any where I go, the emails, Chats, attachment of files and downloads are just awesome.
7. With blackberry, downloading of games, apps etc from blackberry app world is the easiest platform I have ever since in a phone.
8. Lastly since BB came out, I have used a variety of it starting from curve1-Z10, I just love it, have equally used other smart phones as a second phone but didn't use them up to a month cause BB gives me all I want in a phone. I Just love blackberry. The benefits I derive from using a BB I may not be able to pen down here. But I can only say Thank you to the team and the manufacturer of Blackberry phones.

aside from the breakthrough idea of making email correspondence,BlackBerry has the very distinguishing and outstanding quality of giving you unlimited and cheap subscription which is something that is quite not possible with any other operating system especially android. The subscription gives you unlimited data for the days subscribed which is something that truly sets BlackBerry OS apart from other phones OS.with a month's subscription, you get to download and use the internet without any fear of your data finishing before time! BlackBerry compresses data which makes it cheaper for users.

Blackberry is available in five form factors – small keyboard, large keyboard, no keyboard, flip phone, and candy-bar.
Most Blackberries have keyboards, so you can actually type fast and with no errors. Helps while driving, walking, carrying something in your other hand.Blackberry is not so expensive and it is available everywhere in the world. It has a MicroUSB connector for synchronization/charging.Blackberry has expandable memory and the battery is removable.Blackberry also allows programs to multitask.Blackberry allows communicating peer-to-peer via PIN identifier, using the email system. All major instant messengers are available on Blackberry.Blackberry is available with multiple browsers.Blackberry synchronizes with iTunes – and every other media management program.Subscription is way cheaper compared to other phones.Blackberry is very beautiful and unique as there are different models of it. It is also very easy to operate.I love blackberry Victoriaigbinoba@yahoo.com

Black berry is the best and will always be ..lucychinyere92@yahoo.co.uk

a. Easy Charging – All new BlackBerry phones use a standardize Micro-USB connector for charging and synchronization.

b. Unlimited Wi-Fi Calling – If the BlackBerry runs on T-Mobile USA, it offers unlimited Wi-Fi calling from any corner of the world.

c. Being Different – When was the last time you saw someone using a BlackBerry?

d. Removable Battery – Knowing that batteries go bad over time, I do not understand why some cell phone manufacturers build phones with non-removable batteries. Gladly, this is not the case with BlackBerry.

Generally blackberry is a fascinating device. fascinating in the sense basicly it is one of the cheapest and cheerful smartphone, it has a wide range of designs to suit the needs of their vast legion of customers ranging from the physical qwerty keyboards to the full touchscreen smartphones.
prior to the extention by RIM of BBM to other phones ie Andriod and IPhones, blackberry was the only smartphone with that exclusive right, and that so endearing to majority of its customers including myself. these is because I can categorically tell you that BBM is one of the best social networking platform that technology has ever produced, because it can be easily accessed by both the young and old.
Despite the fact that BBM has been introduced to other devices, it cnt be the same because like they always say "IF E NO B PANADOL, E NO FIT BE PANADOL". The data plan is suitable to people of all works of life be you rich, middle class or poor, and these data plans unlike other device that exhaust before the duration been stipulated stays till the full expiration, which might be monthly, weekly or dayly depending on your preference. Despite the fact that I might own an andriod phone there is no discarding of my blackberry phone because its the real deal.
thank you.

Is like I'm even addicted to blackberry from one type of it to another. Sincerely I love d keyboards. The blackberry application u get unique, you can get your emails, make cool ring tones. The cheap subscription I get from my network provider because of blackberry superb .........lepluvme@gmail.com

Unknown said...

Firstly BlackBerry are the best phones for business in terms of exchanging mails, I love their picture quality, it's superb I must confess, they have an affordable subscription i.e you gets lots of gigabytes with little money which isn't applicable to other mobile phones, I so much love them because of their full QWERTY keyboard which makes typing easier and faster for me cos I can't use screen torch phones, in terms of their operating systems, it is user friendly cos their phones can be easily fixed when it crashes in terms of software loading even though you aren't an expert like myself I fix BlackBerry phones for people and it's source of income for me, well their utmost application which is th BBM is the fastest way to send and receive chat in th world, in which other operating systems and mobile phones emulate, the red light feature also which enables me to know quickly if I have a new message, the phones aren't expensive considering the quality they deliver, the phones can be easily tracked when stolen because of the permanent pin embedded in it, to tell the truth I am a very good fan of BlackBerry and I have used almost all their devices, I love them.

Unknown said...

Blackberry makes access to internet earlier, it's not too expensive when it comes with using some network which helps one to get what he/ she wants from internet but the problem with blackberry is the battery capacity to withstand some packages. They should improve in that and they should help the users to see it as a mini laptop to download important application and some document.

I have used a blackberry bold 4 and I currently use a bold 5. I used my bold 4 for close to 3 yrs and left it to use a bold 5 which is almost a year old now. I gave my sister who came back from school phoneless over this past weekend the bold 4 I have left at home since and once she charged it, it started running again.
My epistle only explains the durability of blackberry phones. It drops, pick it up. Another thing about it I love is the economic aspect. I do ALL I have to do on my phone: that is receive my mail on the go, use all the social media platforms I am on(facebook, twitter and my 'googles'), browse all the 'browseable' including Lindaikeji blog God knows how many times in a day just for a cheap subscription. I sure can't use an android phone like that because I will go bankrupt for little earners like myself.
Lastly, the perfect keypad for me, I type at high speed with my blackberry with little or no mistakes.
Summarily, the durability, economy and perfect keypad.

Integrated All-In-One Device – These days the BlackBerry is a phone, email, sms, organizer, address book, arcade, media player, picture taker, navigator, chat messenger, calculator, alarm clock, best friend and more all-in-one device. It slices, it dices, can do the tango and the waltz. Seriously though, today’s current BlackBerry models (8800, Curve) offer a host of functions and features out of the box, and with a ton of third party software now available for the BlackBerry (and more being developed each day) there really is little they can’t do.

Better than the fact the BlackBerry is an all-in-one device is the fact it is an INTEGRATED all-in-one device. What’s this mean? It’s means all of the native applications included in the BlackBerry operating system are seamlessly integrated with one another. Let’s say you receive an email from one friend that contains the telephone number of another friend to call. From within the email application, you can click on the phone number and easily dial the number (there’s no need to exit one application and go into the other – they are integrated). Likewise, you can snap a photo on your BlackBerry Curve and send it to a recipient via email from within the Camera application. This integration is incredibly intuitive, it’s like your BlackBerry always knows exactly what you want to do next.

Ease of Use – Mentioned already in my preamble and touched on again when addressing integration, I can’t stress enough how easy it is to use a BlackBerry. A lot of well-spent thought and effort has gone into the BlackBerry’s navigation menus, which becomes apparent when you begin to use the device. For people who have never used a BlackBerry before, it will take an hour or two to get acquainted. The biggest thing to learn is the BlackBerry option/menu key. This is the key you need to click when you’re within applications (phone, email, calendar, address book, etc.) that brings up the mind-reading menu that always seems to know what you want to do. Once you understand the basic option menu concept, you can immediately use the phone effectively. Put in some time learning BlackBerry shortcuts, and you will not only be effective but extremely efficient in executing your whims.

Best Email Ever – BlackBerry’s ‘push’ email can’t be beat. Whether a BES (corporate) user or BIS (consumer) user, your email will arrive to your BlackBerry the second it’s received by the server. There’s no waiting around – your phone doesn’t need to login every 15 minutes to check if you have received new meBlackBerry device has a unique PIN number, which identifies the device on RIM’s network. The BlackBerry comes with a nifty BlackBerry messenger application that allows you do add other BlackBerry user’s by their device PIN. Once added, you can message each other on the fly (think instant SMS in a conversation format, but unlike SMS it’s free) and even send pictures and voice memos. It’s basically the ultimate form of non-verbal communication. Just make sure your friend’s overseas know not to message you at night!

Besides BlackBerry messenger, BlackBerrys are pure MACHINES when it comes to running other chat applications – MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, AIM, you name it. With the BlackBerry you can be connected to every one of your friends no matter where you go (dangerous if you plan on taking your BlackBerry with you to REAL class.)

Battery Life – Is Awesome. You can leave the phone on for days and days and days (literally two weeks) in standby mode and it will continue to do its job of monitoring all of your incoming communications. If you use the phone actively (long conversations, GPS, play games, browse web, etc.) you’ll suck the battery life out quicker, but at least a day and probably two days or more of life can be expected. And it recharges quick!

Title: Conversation Between "My Mind" and "Me" On Blackberry.

My Mind: Do you know about the Blackberry?
Me: Of course, I know a lot and I have used a lot.
My Mind: Really, So what do you Know?
Me: The Blackberry is a term mostly used to describe a phone but it actually refers to a line of wireless hand device and services. This is designed and marketed by Blackberry limited.
My Mind : U really know a lot.
Me: That is not all. I remember Blackberry Limited used to be called RIM (Research In Motion Limited).. I also know small about the transformation.
My mind: Really , tell me about it.
Me: It started with email pager then the RIM 850 and 857 then the PALM TREO (An email service on a non blackberry device).. The advent of the STORM came( 1 and 2), then the PEARL series(this started the scrolling in 4 ways) which was followed closely by the CURVE series. The BOLD came with a bang and it reigned for a while.. Then the new generation with the launch of the OS10 series ... This was introduced with launch of the Z10 and then Q5 and Q10.... others have followed but the pricey luxury brand PORSCHE was launched..
My mind: You really know a lot.
Me: Yes I do and I have used quite a few. I have used the BOLD 2, 4, Curve, PEARL, STORM 1 and 2 and i currently use the Q5.
My mind: So what next?
Me: Have you heard of a PASSPORT? and what is a PASSPORT?
My mind: You are the brilliant one so answer.
Me: Smiles , A passport is what positions you in a position to be eligible for access to any location.
My mind : Is that all
Me : No , The blackberry now has a device called the BLACKBERRY PASSPORT which grants me access to any website and unlimited fun. This is the reason why I have been writing.
Blackberry team, Please select my write up and grant my christmas wish of a blackberry passport.

My love for blackberry started with the full physical keyboard and a touchscreen. The first two reasons still remain true to this day.
But that red indicator light? I love it as much as I ever have. I noted iPhones don’t have a tiny little light that flashes when there’s a new message or alert. Now I have to turn my phone on to check if I have new messages.”
I should note I’ve seen indicator lights on Androids including the Samsung Galaxy which has an app that allows you to pick different color indicator lights for different types of alerts. One color for email and another for text.
My physical keyboard is still a dealbreaker. I’ve still never lost a typing race to my iPhone or Android friends, and typo free might I add. I have not met a single person who says they prefer touchscreen keyboards over the physical one I have.
So when BlackBerry, formerly known as Research In Motion, launched its new phones last month it was no surprise that those two key features that keep me in love with my BlackBerry, the indicator light and full keyboard, were still in play.

In essence, my third reason for not switching to a smarter Smartphone (just yet) is that I’m not convinced I need one. If you’re still using a Blackberry by choice then you probably don’t care very much about Instagram or any other trendy app because you don’t care for your phone to act like a toy.

You like your phone for its…well, communication features. BlackBerry’s e-mail system, keyboard and indicator light all make the communication process a more efficient one.
And let me be clear, I’m not resisting change for the sake of resisting change. I have considered switching to an Android as some have both the physical keyboard and indicator light I’m looking for. However, I haven’t found one that fits me. Literally. They are huge compared to my BlackBerry phone. I like my phones small and portable

That’s just another reason I’m holding out for any blackberry device

Blackberry phones can easily access e-mail account, and all phone functions. BlackBerry has become a business tool, but more than that. As prices fall, making them more affordable with various model/series to choose from, Blackberry is simply for everyone with very low price internet bundles from service problem,BBM offers multiple reasons that show its ability to be the best communication app on the planet. BBM is instant and shows you when your message has been sent and read. Pictures, music and files can be sent through BBM which makes it very useful, and chats are not limited to just one on one,Group chats are a huge help when conversing with friends,All the new BlackBerry devices have the ability to connect to an HMDI cable, giving you the possibility of sharing your experiences on the really big screen! Blackberry OS 10 is the bomb with Blackberry hub,The BlackBerry Hub is a notifications center that combines all of your messages into one organized place, saving you from having to check each and every app for messages. Leaving an app is as simple as swiping up from the bottom of the screen and the hub can be accessed from anywhere in the phone simply swipe up and then right on the screen. The browser on the new BlackBerry smartphones is capable of running adobe flash player and is VPN enabled, which means no more 'cannot view in this country' problems. BlackBerry 10 runs a system called QNX, this system is used by high tech dangerous medical equipment because of its ability to shut down and restart without affecting the current process that it is running, this makes sure that when one app fails the whole system won't. BBOS 10 will not disappoint new users,Incase you don't win, Go grab one...

I have been on BlackBerry since the days of Bold 2 till Z10 and am so in love with my Z10 coz everything it does, it does so fast. If I could just write all of the above I would just write it coz it's really hard to pick a single favourite blackberry feature. Where do I start, the browsing bundle is pocket friendly, it's an amazing device that makes my social network life easy, convenient and above fun it even guesses what am typing next *amazing*. The browsing speed is speechless and crisp clear camera and I take sweet selfies. I love my bb10 coz once I upgrade I play all my favourite games and use my favourites apps and still get good battery live. Then the phone design is beautiful and I love the way the phone illuminates under lights(especially in a mall). Upon all the packages a blackberry has its still one of the affordable smart devices out there. Cyossai90@gmail.com

I bought my very first blackberry in February, 2010 and that was after a year long desire for one, it was a curve 2 (Gemini) and that phone served me well I must say, then I used a bold 2 then a torch, then bold 6 and a bold 5, then a z10 and q10 I love my blackberry and my blackberry loves me. Reasons why I love my blackberry?
1) the keyboard: I remember the joy when the blackberry torch was announced, a touch screen with a keyboard as well? Sign me up! I love having a keyboard, it is just easier to handle
2) rigidity: my blackberry is strong mehn! It has fallen down way too many times due to my carelessness and nothing happened to it. Absolutely nothing. I used another brand of phone one time and the moment it touched the ground it scattered
3) straightforward: my blackberry is very straight to the point. If I want to share a picture, I share it, if I need to download a movie I download I don't have to go through the long process of getting another app. It's so easy
4) synchronization: my blackberry works with any laptop as long as the blackberry link has been installed, I'm good to go
5) blackberry messenger is KING! I'll never be on whatsapp, I can't let every tom dick and Harry have my number
6) it's safe to say that the blackberry is secure I don't have to worry about certain things getting leaked on the internet
7) I love that the blackberry battery is remove able, it makes it easier for me when there is a fault, also the battery life isn't as crappy as others
8) don't you just love the fact that you can look forward to the new style of blackberry and not the same four cornered shape of other devices
9) also I never see the red led light in any other phones, like I need to know when I have a ping right?
10) my blackberry allows me to install a memory card and remove it when I please, somehow I feel safer having it in hand rather than on some 'cloud' that could expose everything to the world
Finally, please I really want this passport, I normally would have gotten it but I cannot afford it right now, I'm still a student, please linda, please blackberry, I'm a devout customer :) Rachaeltheogundipe@gmail.com

I love blackberry phone because I can subscribe monthly on it. I am a student who don't have a laptop but having a blackberry makes it easier for to do my assignments and project work without hassle. Blackberry have high browsing speed which makes browsing fast, it also has a fine/high resolution camera effects that makes taking pictures fun and exciting.
What I love most about blackberry is the blackberry protect which make it easily to protect all my files and also find my phone when missing. Blackberry is a unique phone which I can't trade for any other phone

One of the major quality I love about blackberry phones is the ability to ping easily, even if you can't browse on the Internet and make calls. And I ve noticed the the subscription of blackberry phone is cheaper when compare to when you have the pins from other phones like Techno, Samsung, Nokia, etc. People with other phones tend to spend more on subscription than blackberry phones. Thinking having the pin number is the same with having blackberry phones.

Blackberry is a very unique phone. It closed the gap in communication and savvy technology. Using a blackberry is very convieneint and simple . From emails , to dos, surfing the Internet to chatting with friends and family, listening to music and videos with very flexible data plans.

It's obvious that the blackberry drove the revolution of internet enabled phones in Nigeria at an affordable rate without compromising on style and technology.

It is the best phone for social life. Imagine wen someone sent u email in real time u get it immediately and reply if need be. U can attach pics, documents just as computer. U have a friend that use bb and u are in the market u want to show him or her something all u need to do is snap the thing and send the pic tro bbm and the person gets it immediately. Go to ur social feed and stay up to date with current news as it happens. Instead of wasting credit calling friends askin where are what u doing how u doing u can stay connected 24/7 with bbm just ping them wen u want to talk. U can send voice note if the person want to hear ur voice and even video chat which is a new addition to the benefits BB.for relaxation, a variety of games to choose from. So many things to do with BB. I know we abuse it in naija but trust me its the best for social people, for workaholics like me and to cap it all you can do all of the above with as low as 1000 per month. Now why would i not use a blackberry???

My name is Obadofin Samuel and I like two (2) basic things about blackberry. The first is the The click clacking keyboard. The keyboard is so great that it is just as easy to use as those on a full size computer keyboard and It is really nice how far the buttons stick up and you can really feel that click. Secondly is the RED LIGHT.. On top of every BlackBerry, there's a little
sliver of a red light, and it blinks at you when a new message or call comes in. Of course other phones have a way of alerting people to a call or messages but non can be compared to the feel of a blackberry light. Maynemulla@gmail.com

There are several things I love about the blackberry smartphone. One is the blackberry instant messaging (BBM). It makes communication a whole lot easier. On my Bbm, I can send files, photos, audios, etc.
Asides that, BlackBerry has also helped me organise. How so? My emails come directly to my phone and I actually do get an alert when it comes in. That way, I get to categorise my messages and put them into the "To do" task list with a set up alarm if need be.
Apart from that, the blackberry smartphone has a wonderful OS that can enable me to run android applications on my device. Meaning? I get a 2in 1 package for a cheaper amount and without a reduction in quality.
The blackberry has so much to offer and it's amazing how a truck load of "awesomeness" can still fit into your pocket :) a blackberry phone never looks ugly, *duffing my hat to RIM for the cute blackberry phone designs*

I am using BB-10. I enjoy the Document-to-Go which makes easy my official work on the go, because I can do same work just like I am using computer.

Secondly, separation of my mail accounts is wonderful. At every time I know the mail address my mails drop.

Thirdly, I know the applications to download because applications meant for BB are stated.

Again, software update comes which makes my BB updated to recent OS

Picture and voice clarity is great.

The large memory storage is a relief to me.

I love the way i use my finger to swipe from left to right.

The blackberry hub allows messages from different app to be viewed at once on the same page, cute.!

The qwerty (physical keyboard) is sweet! you can type faster with ease.

It has office applications and wide screen which makes anything you doing enjoyable.

being able to sync the phone and your email together is great, no need of opening your email each time to view.

it does not consume more megabyt like the other android phone.

.
2.speaker quality...I don't think there is any mobile device out there that can match this feature in bb
3.Flexibily....unlike oda modern device, BlackBerry made provision for phones with keypads and without keypads
.
4.Operating System...the 2G ram installed in bb10 devices makes one to use BlackBerry devices without experiencing any Lags or hooks
.
5.Market Demand: with the android devices in vogue, BlackBerry manufactured devices with combining ability of android and BlackBerry.
.
the list goes on and on....OmG I need this phone soooooo bad!....abeg make una look my side abeg.

It may not be long writing. It may not be exciting to you. You may not appreciate it, but it makes me ‘glow’ and keep my loyalty to BB.

The fact that I can be running an update with BB 10 and still be using my phone’s other functions is just too fantastic. My Android phone (make I no mention which one) is not able to do this.

Sometimes when I am typing and mistakenly put a “full-stop” after a space, my smart BB automatically interchanges the space for the “full-stop” so that I can continue typing. Smart stuff!
This one nko? After taking a picture, I can just swipe the thumbnail upwards to quickly preview. Thumbs up BB.

Too many things oo. But just this last mind blowing one.
I like dragging the back arrow in the lower left corner to get me straight back to the first level folder or forum. I might be several levels deep into the forums and one swipe returns me to the first level. Same with the File Manager and other apps. It's small but it shows some thoughtfulness by the BB10 folks who seem to appreciate that a lot of little things get you moving easier and faster.

I use a blackberry bold 5. Surprisingly what i love most about it is the redlight indicator. Wen i get a notification on facebook it gives a certain blink if it from bbm it gives another certain blink. I dont have to turn on my screenlight to know i have a notification. It made me feel like a magician one time with my friends wen i could tell where a message is coming from without touching the phone. Lol. Dat feature is cool though.

The blackberry phone was the first smart phone I ever possessed (curve2). It helped me appreciate social media, and stay constantly connected to friends at a cost that was more affordable than having to call them. I could easily access Facebook, twitter, and my emails with just one click of the button. It would always remain a significant brand to me, and that is why I have a soft spot for it. My email address is oadeniji1@gmail.com

I was fascinated by the big, weird squareness of the phone and got nudged into buying one
The truth is, it's a pretty solid phone. If you want to read emails, blogs, look at charts, and have basically never viewed a video on your phone, it might just be an improvement on whatever you have.

In short, this is the normcore smartphone of 2014. It does a great deal of what any other smartphone released this year does, without some of the apps that you're (like me) not cool enough to use, and with a little bit of extra functionality for the things you use most of all.
There's very little issue (for me) in having half of the keyboard in physical form and half on the screen: Numbers, the shift key, and other characters pop up as necessary while you're typing. I think the viewing experience for reading is excellent. I'm a little slower at typing than I was before (I owned a Nexus), but I'm getting there.
You'll struggle to type one-handed if you've got hands as small as mine, but the other phablet-type phones out there are equally difficult. For, say, scrolling through twitter, one hand is perfectly adequate.

why i like BlackBerry is that it has always been a business phone. The "other Phone's" wowed us all--and it nearly put BlackBerry out of business--but it emphasizes entertainment and not productivity. If you're an IT executive, it's finally time to put function before form.BlackBerry a single device that fit in your pocket or purse held your contacts, email, calendar and a two-way pager. The two-way pager feature was actually important, since you could quickly receive and respond to an alert. This made the Blackberry Messaging Service even more powerful than iTunes on Apple devices; BlackBerry Messenger provided core value for the smartphone, while iTunes was developed more for connected media players.Features i still admire so much in a blackberry are : (1) Keyboard! Blackberry even has a keyboard and a touch screen (2) You can get your work email. This is very very very important (3) You can make cool ringtones.Optical trackballs BACK IN THE DAYS... I just love blackberry so much linda ... olamide_cole@ymail.com

I like Blackberry because of the following reasons.
1. Option of multiple emails, and once you set up, mails will be automatically pushed to you.
2. It is more secure because your communication goes through the RIM server and not the ordinary telco.
3. Enhanced Keyboard
4. Great apps
5. Work and personal balance
6.Blackberry Internet Service
and above all, smart people use smartphones, smarter people uses blackberry.

BlackBerry smartphones have many unique features that distinguishes it from
other smartphones. RIM( Research In Motion) that is the markers of blackberry smartphones use a special server
technology that sits between the phone and email
systems to provide better performance. Because of
the way they work, they also offer a higher level
of security than other systems. Donchyke@yahoo.com

I love Blackberry because its the first range of smartphones to arrive the shores of Nigeria opening the doors of connectivity, communication and exposure to lots of people regardless of their age and social background, something other mobile phone manufacturers could not do in years. The BBM is the best messenger of all times, no wonder other manufacturers want the app as much as possible. Not only does it do messaging alone, BBM call over WiFi is amazing, connecting via Channels is a fantastic idea to always stay in touch and be exposed to variety of innovative ideas from all over the world, the stickers are created in a non stereotyped way, taking care of all types of users. One thing I know, talk of innovative communication in Nigeria today, without Blackberry, life will be so dull.

There are jst two types of phones, smart phones and the rest. When i think about smart phones, my imagination is subjected to work on how what i call a smart phone should function at dis age, its functionality and its uniqueness. The Blackberry Passport is just the result of my imagination. Being the first quad-core smartphone to ever wear the BB logo, the Android-based Amazon App Store dat comes pre-installed and the blend of software's dat comes on this phone is amazing. I cant wait to have my imaginations do the magic in my hands. Welcome my imagination, welcome my Blackberry Passport.

As a loyal blackberry fan and customer i have many many reasons why i love blackberry phone. 1) It is very easy and fast to type with, without even looking at the keyboard..... I love chatting! 2) cheap BIS (blackberry internet subscription)... Lol, not rich yet sooo 3)The red light that blinks when i get new message or pings 4) Best phone to show-off with.... 5) I get alerts on new messages. No need for me to keep logging in and waiting for someone to come online when the alert is there 6) fast browser
and download.... 7) It has great speakers for calls and music. I love listening to music with it while surfing the internet with it 8) Great camera quality. I love taking pictures like there is no tomorrow and blackberry is the best phone to do that and with its editing features, i get the best pictures to show to my friends.... gorgeousnogo@yahoo.com

The Passport is unquestionably the most powerful BlackBerry ever made. The three-row keyboard doubles as a touch-sensitive trackpad that adds gestures to the typing experience in a very clever way. With it, BlackBerry has evolved an old-fashioned keyboard into something fresh and -- dare I say -- innovative.
The service, called Blackberry Blend is an app that you can download on your other non blackberry device. Once your devices are connected, you'll be able to use them to manage and move files back and forth, send and receive messages (BBM, email and text) remotely, access your contacts and calendar and view movies stored locally on your BlackBerry.
It boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip, which comes with a 2.2GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor and Adreno 330 GPU. Not only that, but it's also blessed with 3GB of RAM. Switching between active apps and browser tabs becomes an incredibly swift tasks, with the phone barely skipping a beat.
I LOVE BB PASSPORT

Honestly, I have a lot to say but since its a short note, I will keep it short. Since I knew about blackberry phones in 2010, I have always loved one thing about Blackberry which has made me stick to my curve4, That thing is low cost of data. I was informed that blackberry pays a percentage of data cost for their subscribers and that alone influenced my choice of the phone. Blackberry unlike other phones makes multi-tasking easier as I easily open different tabs, browsers, applications etc while using my phone. Honestly, even if I dont win, I wouldnt be bothered but satisfied to tell the guys at Blackberry that even in the midst of this stiff competition among mobile phone Blackberry is tcompanies, they are the best. This review wouldnt be complete if I dont add that something should be done about the battery life, it needs to last longer. Thanks......Richardcypher85@yahoo.com

What I like about blackberry? No, what I love about blackberry is; It is a sophisticated and unique phone, just as the blackberry fruit itself. The hardware QWERTY keyboard I love, makes typing an email or chatting with a friend, easy, fast and fun. I can proudly say that I can type with the hardware QWERTY keyboard with my eyes closed, meaning if I were blind, I will still be able to use my blackberry. Blackberry is a sexy phone with great features, nice camera quality, wonderful internal and external storage capacity, ability to transfer previous blackberry messenger information from one phone to another via my Blackberry I.D, affordable and I love that Blackberry keeps upgrading from better to better. Lastly, the phone parts are available in the market, so if my blackberry screen breaks due to careless behavior, I can walk into a repair store and get it easily fixed and at a good rate too.

My blackberry notifies me with different colours of light.
My QWERTY keypad increases my typing speed and accuracy.
My blackberry enables me to use mobile banking applications; shop online, load airtime.
BlackBerry also has a wide range of phone varieties like the Bold, curve series with different specific functions, colours and prices. It is the only Smartphone that has both touch screen and keypad combined in the same phone or in separate phones.
Of all the smartphones, Blackberry is simple, easy to understand and very affordable.
The Blackberry button which no other smartphone has enables me to switch applications and use shortcuts.

Things i really like about blackberry most especially blackberry 9800..
1) The Browser: Yes, this is mostly a credit to the BlackBerry OS 6, but without a touch screen and accelerometer, which lets me switch from portrait to landscape mode, the experience wouldn't be half as good.

2) The Home Screen: RIM has done a nice job with the available real estate on the Torch screen, and I love how the screen moves left to right and up and down. I can live in the All screen, but now, as with other configurable mobile platforms, I can customize it as well.

3) The Touch Screen: I used to own a Palm Treo and always appreciated the combination of touch and physical typing. Granted, that old Palm screen was very limited. The Torch, on the other hand, is not. I like that I can use gestures to move through the various screens. The addition of the pinch and zoom is welcome, though, I can't imagine someone launching a touch screen without it.

4) The Design: The Torch is heavier than my Bold, but it feels very good in my hand. The lines are nice, though not revolutionary.

5) The Keyboard and Touchpad: Yes, the keyboard is smaller and a tad more cramped than my Bold, but RIM has given the keys slightly shaped edges, so they're easier to feel. I can still do some typing without staring at the keys...

It felt like my heart was ripped outta my chest. I got another one. A blackberry torch precisely. I'm still using it, I love how I can locate my icons so easily. The strength of my phone is unbelievable, I once sat on it when I put it in my back pocket. It was affordable. The phone is evergreen. Hehehe. The battery life is great, the phone is sleek and portable. Navigation is easy, the phone is loud enough. The accessories that came with the phone are still intact.
