Our loss...... Heaven's gain.

Your diligence and selflessness will remain our inspiration. U have left an indelible mark in the sands of time. You left us at such a young age of 59 years. We take solace in your achievements within the time you spent with us.

It is not how long, but how well!

I hope your death will be a wake up call to those in position of service/power in Nigeria, regarding the transience of life. U saved several lives whilst you lived, I know your death will save many more. Our consolation is that you are now in a place where you can directly plead Nigeria's case in our Lord's bosom. Pls continue to plead our case until Nigeria becomes GREAT again. #Nigeria - Good People, Great Nation.

RIP, the amazon of our time. U will be sorely missed.

An Amazon has gone to the great beyond! Ada of Adas anago!!!! Dr. Dora Nkem Akunyili is no more but her legacy remains in the conscious of her fellow Nigerians and womanhood in general. An iroko who lived a life of conviction, a life of faith, sacrifice and love for her beloved Nigeria. A woman who faced death by assassins but did not shy away from her duties to her fatherland.

How many lives did you save Dr. Akunyili, thousands and maybe millions. Fakes drugs killed and maimed countless Nigerians but because of you courage to fight these fake drug merchants and mercenaries you made it possible for so many to live.
You will continue to be a star shinning brightly(igolo gbajuru onwa) in heaven. May the Almighty God grant your husband, children and family the strength to bear your loss.
