I know a lot of guys understand what he means by that, so please explain to us ladies. I'm thinking he means he doesn't have an official girlfriend or anyone he's serious with, but has a woman/women he takes out and chops any how...lol. I don't have a girlfriend but I get my groove-on on a regular basis. Is that what single and dating means? And are some women OK with being in situations like this?

Chaiiiiii... See as a common English sentence is causing headaches and confusion. Anyhow sha its not our fathers language. With that said.. Mr. Banky W is very correct with his sentence. I think the person who we should all be laughing at is Linda because she obviously is confused with the English. If you are dating doesnt mean youre not single. When someone is single in a relationship term means he or she isnt married. When youre dating there are still options and choices which when you go for for whatever reason isnt wrong. But when youre married that option is off the table which means youre not single. A common and good example is the singles department in a church. Obviously all the so called singles are probably dating someone or in a kind of relationship but not married, hence they are single. Gbammmmm!
How do you get in a relationship without dating first? Perfectly valid answer to me (lady here)... If you are hanging out with a dude who likes you romantically, you are going to lunches and dinners with him... You guys are dating.. but not in a relationship...

Linda Linda seriously!!! its such an easy question though. A single person is simply "not married". Therefore, a single person can be dating. I keep telling people that I don't let a girl I like go simply because she is dating someone else, if she's not planning on getting married to him then I won't back down. We take this dating thing too seriously in Nigeria; to the extent that some idiots buy acids and maim people SMH. If you are not married and you have no plans to marry someone do not die or allow them kill themselves on your matter PLEASE!!!
