Congratulations Dr. This are the kind of people our government should honor with the National awards. Not drug barons and individuals with questionable antecedents.

I love this woman, Dr Jo Odumakin. She's one human write activist who can't be bought by the corrupt Nigerian govt... I am a man, but I don't think there's been any genuine male Human rights activist after Fela. Na fake male activists we get everywhere, allover naija. God bless you ma'am. May you live long.

She has been a steadfast human rights campaigner right from her Aluta days up till now and has remained true to what she believes.
God bless you Dr Joe!
Hmmmm nxt pls...........princess jobless
Congrats to her. I know she was trying to rep Naija by wearing the top she had on; I don't think it was necessary especially when it is so tight on her. You don't see Michelle wearing the US flag on her. A simple pin of our flag would have spoken volume than the tight shirt she had on. Good job all the same.
I just love michelle obama, she's just an icon, see how simple humble and loyal she looks. She's one 2b reckon with
@ Ice u r right,u got d words out of my mouth
Full on Ankara would have repped us better. Some graceful looking attire at least..haba!! Mbanu! She for help one Nigerian female designer by giving them some exposure via this platform. Think!!
Quite impressed...thumbs up...
Congratulations to Mrs Jo Odumakin. She is a real aluta activist. When you hear her speak, you'll know the aluta thing is in her blood! Lol! I like the fact that she dressed so simply with her green white green shirt. That's just how she is normally. Even though I wouldn't dress that way to see the first lady of the most powerful country in the world, I respect Mrs Odumakin for not trying to change who she is, just to impress. God bless her!
She surely deserves it
Congrats mam,,Lord bless U!!
Dis someone I want to look up to!! Being. A role model in d society..Lord bless ma hustle
You fool! STFU. Always criticizing meanwhile you are not even done with University. Face your numerous carry overs and get out of blogs. Silly Cow.
Na wa for una wey dey criticise her shirt. is dat wat is important? she's being honored for her achievements. Let's celebrate that instead
Plus dd shirt is even tight sef.SMH
Ashawo girls like ya mama, abi?
Must u complain abt d dress....,w wah 4 u
As she no help designers, wetin u dey wait for?
Abi no be ur mate they collect award so?
wow, congratulations. This is the type of news we want to be reading about Nigerians.
If she does drugs now she became an igbo woman, yoroba and double faces.tribes of naked dancers
This is a well deserved honour. I watched this woman during the Fuel Subsidy protest in Jan 2012. She spoke with so much conviction, strength, passion, grace and knowledge. I really admire you. And I wud say: keep up d good work
Yimu for u
Let's see ur hairy self
Can u make the sacrifice?
That's true ooooo- whr's she?
That's huge o. Really happy for her
Congrats 2 one of our country's best activist. Pls keep on d good work and I believe some day that our young naija girls will rise up n stand 4 justice and strive 4 d best. Congratulations ma'm
Dem dey lock man and woman together for naija prisons? Embellishment no good oooo. Congrats to d woman sha
Abeg what is the 'good thing' linda is doing abeg??? Don't trivialise odumakin's efforts abeg
I hate Michelle's dress. I HATE IT. who is her stylist? She is not a "too much design" personality. She needs straight cuts, no frills, no flowery stuff, military style. Fine woman and she come dey resemble housegirl and I hope she develops ringworm on her head. That seems to be the only way to cause her to get rid of that NASTY bang thing that is hiding her beauty and [no pun intended] making her look HIDEOUS!
And your point? You sound like a person with inferiority complex!
You sound like a teen bigot, what's with the tribalism.pls growup nobody is fighting any tribal war. She is not even aware you exist. Odeeee.
pple who dey naija proud congratulations oh
God bless you
The black cowboy boots is one of the most fashionable boots available in the market now days. These western black cowboy boots are again trend in an industry of fashion and shoes....
ladies boots
Surely, your indefatigable fight against the ills in our society&the world in general is gradually gaining recognition. Just keep the fire burning.
Surely, your indefatigable fight against the ills in our society&the world in general is gradually gaining recognition. Just keep the fire burning.
She deserves the recognition and much more. Nigerian women are doing great things.http://jaynewhyte.blogspot.com/
Honour well earned,congr@ Dr.what soever a man sow he shall reap.
Who is this Derick Hosagie clown commenting. If you did your own research, you'd see that her middle name is Obiajulu!! Which means she is prob an Igbo woman married to a Yoruba man. Regardless she is a Nigerian, quit with the tribalistic nonsense. Dont go there!
STFuP who said anyfin abt yoruba or ibo pple here! Gt a life! Bsids are u a nigerian? You name sounds like someone from mali!
HONOR WELL DESERVED.
I am so so proud of this lady, indeed she has worked so hard putting all at risk including her family she deserves it. Love u plenty my mentor.
Congratulations Dr. Joe!!!. We are so proud of you
Three of you b*tches Above would always remain anonymous all your miserable lives...... Hahaha get a face b*tch
I fully support and endorse this opinion. Enough of half naked ashies who's only talent is a big butt or yellow skin!!!
Yes o ...na me...I made the comment about helping designers via this platform. I also totally congratulate and celebrate her. But true true, if na some people dem for dress well, yes we get brains but also carriage and beauty. THIS IS NOTE FOR MANY MORE NIGERIAN WOMEN WHO WILL BE RECOGNISED REAL SOON.SEEK ADVICE. Rep Nigeria properly na.... graceful, humble, motherly, not jaga jaga like eh bus conductor. This look will attract pity from some people in that room ( like omg,she is really from a very poor clueless country) which is not the message she is sending..Kapish?
..THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. WHEN YOU STOP 'SHITTING' FOOD BECOMES POISONOUS., ALLOW ROOM FOR FRESH SUPPLIES. (in other words, when you stop learning you become obsolete)
ALL THE INSULTERS, THE BRAIN IS USED FOR THINKING BEFORE TYPING.ENGAGE IT.
GBOSA! FOR THE THINKERS!
Nigerians can talk sha! Say person do good again una still dey complain kilode Just say somthing good and if u've got nothing good to say just let it pass is that too much to ask for?
Kudos to you madam may u get the eternal reward also Amen!
Its called having an opinion. If every person totally has the same perspective on a single story, wont the world be like a bee colony....
