The former child singer lost her mum, Mrs Martha Onyemuchechi Jegede, on Wednesday 11th of July 2012. Mrs Jegede had been ill for quite sometime, after being diagnosed with a muscle disease. She passed away at a hospital in London at the age of 60. May her soul rest in peace...amen.

WOW, I cannot believe the insensitivities I read from people's comments here. Someone has just lost her mum, her mother, come on, and you are debating her past and future? Who cares about music career? Can you for once be civilised and send sincere condolences? I can't believe this. Put yourself in others' shoes!
