Dear Linda, he didn't win the case, it was dismissed because the plaintiff obviously refused to turn up! Maybe the girl backed out cos she didn't want issues, or maybe she was harassed. He was awarded costs which is normal in such cases. It was not tried on the merits! If it was a criminal case, the story may have been different.
