Zambian Model Mofya Chisenga Dies During Childbirth

The popular 28yr old Zambian model, beauty queen and entrepreneur died during childbirth last weekend, Friday Oct 14, 2011. The model had been very sick while pregnant. Doctors said she had fluid in her lungs. They managed to deliver her baby but couldn't save her.

Mofya represented Zambia at Tourism Queen International Pageant 2005 in China and the Miss Universe in Los Angeles California.

Zambia is mourning her. May her soul rest in peace...amen.

Oh no! Life is so unfair. In which country did she deliver the baby? I hope it was not in an African country.
In the UK or USA, doctors would have advised her to terminate the pregnancy at the early state.

And the sad part of it all is HER PARENTS (BOTH) DIED WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG - and when she won Ms Zambia she said in an interview she had to grow up very fast since she was the sould breadwinner of her young siblings whom she was taking care off.

LIFE IS NOT FAIR AT ALL.

IF THERE IS ANY TYPE OF FUNDS SET UP FOR THE FAMILY I WOULD LIKE TO DONATE. LINDA PLEASE FIND OUT

and thanks for Posting Linda - i truly appreciate it.

This is so very sad. RIP Mofya!

Women still die giving birth in every country in the world. Carrying a pregnancy is not an easy task for every woman. Like anything else in life there is a risk of complication, or death. May God guide and protect her child and be the mother for that child.

May her soul rest in peace. Such a beautiful lady.Honestly, anytime one goes into the delivery room and both mum and child come out alive, you have to thank God!! It is not easy.

R.I.P. Mofya.

This one of the reasons why I would never give birth to any of my children in Nigeria, now Africa as a whole.

May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

The more melanin you have, the more beautiful you are. Black is beautiful, and this GORGEOUS lady is an example.
