Based on what I've read about this case, I believe that DSK assaulted the girl. Yes she may have credibility issues but that does not preclude the fact that she was assaulted. It is highly unlikely for a hotel maid to immediately engage in sexual liaisons with a guest if not under coercion. There's at least no doubt that there was some sort of sex between the two.

The part of this story I've always found suspect was the fact that the reports stated that she spat the guys "evidence" out onto the carpet.
