Linda shakes head. Seriously? Beauty of the day is meant to celebrate women not ridicule them. But the feedback sometimes, you guys please take it easy, e jó :-)

Linda, don't mind some women. Just pure enemies of progress. The Twitter person is just a hater. It is your blog, beauty of the day is something you control and what is beautiful to you might not be so beautiful to the next. If anyone has an issue with it they can go and start their own blog. With all the fighting and the killing and the shooting (lol #notuface),Seriously with all the domestic violence cases and crimes against women that we see, it is nice to celebrate us every once in a while.

Linda, it's like the rain the other day. It rained and there was a flood - but only in some parts of Lagos.
Now, some parts did not get flooded, like my area and my beautiful garden was the better for it, the rain definitely was/is a blessing.
The natural run off/flow of the rain water in parts of Lagos has been disrupted by buildings built on the Lagos canal, blocked drains (pure water sachets), over development, degradation of the shoreline through the removal of sand from the sea for construction, sand filling and allowing people to develop homes in and around river basins (areas below sea level) in Lagos. Many people suffered on that day. People lost lives and property and it was really unfortunate. Many of them cursed the rain. But you see, the rain is not the problem, but how we have managed our environment.
My analogy is Linda, there is nothing wrong with Beauty of the day - once you too agree that there is no mischief to it. People (men and women) will write what they want to write, and if they choose to be nasty, that is for their pocket. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but it's THEIR opinion and it CAN NEVER impact on your life. There will be nice comments and not so nice ones.
How do I manage nasty people? Well I believe you cannot give what you do not have. So if someone only spews out nastiness and negativity, then its because that's all they have inside of them. Sad for them.
