Oprah Winfrey has Chicago street named after her

 

Mayor of Chicago, Richard M. Daley presented TV talk-show host Oprah Winfrey with a sign after a street was named in her honor outside her Harpo Studios in Chicago yesterday. The street was called North Carpenter Avenue before it was renamed.

"This is better than an Oscar or an Emmy,' said Oprah said at the unveiling ceremony.
