African prints is taking over the world...

Everyone seems to be wearing Ankara inspired outfits these days. From Beyonce, to Kim K, Gwen Stefani, Nicki Minaj etc...and they are promoting these prints heavily in international magazines. These pics are from Russian Vogue. To think I have all these abandoned Ankara fabrics in my wardrobe...maybe it's time to bring them out...ha ha ha!

Well Good,

My only concern is i hope they don't 'steal' it and call it their own, in other words, i hope, they're giving credit to whom it's due?

We re indeed taking over. Now we can begin to make it our national wear in our offices instead of this damn suit!

You know 'The Whites' are fond of stealing and never giving credit to where they stole whatever from. Anyway, we need to start embracing these prints and stop looking down on them. I remember when so many people looked down on African prints until it became a trend. Now, everyone is acting like these prints just started existing. Oh Nigerians....always following and never leading.

Now these white folks would rather give these prints to a white model who looks spray tanned than a black girl. Nothing wrong with using models of 'different' races. I don't get why she looks tanned.
