I have never voted but intend to vote this time....This is such an ambiguous statement to make and I would think that someone of his caliber would think it wiser to leave some things unsaid. I still don't understand why Soyinka didn't like Obasanjo. People can hate on OBJ all day but I will say he tried to do a lot for Nigeria. Even, just for the fact that when he left, Nigeria had 45 billion extra and the debt was reduced, I will say he had a vision, was he a perfect man, nobody is, was he corrupt? every politician is corrupt but some are more corrupt than others. After Obasanjo, PDP party went downhill. I will have to agree with Soyinka on this one.
