Ex-GTB MD, Fola Adeola is Nuhu Ribadu’s Running Mate

Mr. Afolabi Tajudeen Adeola, former Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc,  former chairman of the National Pension Commission (Pencom), and former member on the (Tony) Blair Commission on Africa, has been named the running mate of ACN presidential candidate, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. - ThisDay

Please how many cities or states can Fola Tajudeen Adeola win for Ribadu...it is now very clear that ACN does not want to win or give president Jonathan a run for his money...
Whoever ACN's technical adviser is should be fired.....We are talking about winning a presidental election or at least making it competitive...so that everybody will start adjusting there belts

i find it ridiculous that no one has made comments on this issue and it shows our mindset. we complain about the world negleting us and people only chose to comment about entertainment. we need to take our future in our hands to make a change.
most nigerians living abroad are just living as second class citizens of the world. its only when the home is right that our image will improve. people should start taking nigerian politics serious. its so sad that when obama campainged every nigerian supported him and now we can not even promote ours.

When I keep seeing some candidates I keep wondering if there's a reward for just appearing on the ballot paper. When we even talk about 'unpopular candidate' we do not mean someone unknown but someone not perceived well by the masses. These guys are taking the term too serious.

Fola Adeola's expertise in foreign policy would help Ribadu's standing. He is a man of strong and many opinions, a visionary leader. A very hunble man, saw him at the airport in 2003 and he was kind to sign a book for me.

Unfortunately, I can't vote! Hey people, vote Ribadu and Fola!!

You people are so daft. Fola Adeola has money. That alone makes him a good VP for Ribadu because at least people would actually take Ribadu's campaign seriously. The other issues are secondary. Without money, you aint going nowhere in Naija. I am happy Ribadu now has the much needed resources to compete head to head with GEJ.

Ribadu is my choice and i like Fola Adeola. The case with Fola (just like Tunde Bakare) is where is his constituency and is he sellable to the electorate? Or maybe the Vice Presidential candidates don’t matter too much? Good luck to team Ribadu.

to all the anonymies, VP does not need to sell votes. if not adeola, who else can you see? and you nko?who knows you? at least i see a name with fola adeola, whereas u r anonymous for crying out loud! seriously, rebuilding a nation does not need popular people. it needs administrators. and if not for president, who knew goodluck? someone with no personal achievements wants to rule a nation of 150m with over 1m problems. do u deny GTB is an accomplishment? not to talk of PENCOM, Eterna, Fate Foundation, Omatek computers? seriously we need presidents and leaders who have travelled out of the counry for serious matters like studying at harvard, yale, not going to shop for clothes and real estate. ribadu/adeola, muslim-muslim or not is what nigeria needs.
