Super Eagles' chief coach, Samson Siasia, is ready to quit the national team, barely three weeks after landing the job due to what he calls officials' interference.
Siasia told a source in Holland that the issue of assistants' appointment remains a bone of contention between him and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
''All the pledge of a freehand for Siasia appears to be unrealistic. There are a number of ex-internationals the NFF expects to form the coaching crew of the Super Eagles but who are not in the plans of Siasia. On the other hand, there are some ex-internationals who Siasia wants but whom the NFF does not like due to their antecedents in the national team,'' he said - Tribune Newspaper

I beg leave my man to do his job..they want to infiltrate need a spy to cause confusion within...
I guess Siasia is an ex-international. It is not entirely his job to appoint Assistant Coaches. Granted his opinion might be sought, but it is not his right.
He should check what is happening at big clubs like Chelsea, real madrid etc.
If I may add, he has recommended one assistant who has been employed. If he is not ready to work, he is free to go.
